Terrible experience me and my wife and I had to live for a while!

For some reason, the fire alarm goes off day or night, and despite all the crowds, some days there was no security guard, so we had to call the vivo manager and report the situation. Frankly, this situation does not seem safe at all.

Some of the rooms between the floors did not have windows, and when people cooked, they had to open their external doors to get air, which caused the whole building to be surrounded by a strange smell and smoke.

The elevator was almost always broken. I injured my back while getting to our room on the 4th floor and couldn't recover for a week. All our e-mails asking when the elevator will be built remained unanswered.

Without any reason, they said that they would not refund almost all of the dues we paid for the room we stayed in for only 4 months.

Absurd excuses were told, such as the garbage we had cleaned, bagged and left aside and the bed moved.

I never recommend!

I stayed in the Silk Mill, Lancaster for just 4-months and it was more than enough to understand their amateur, unreliable, careless way of doing this job. Here is why:

1- We woke up several times to the fire alarms, and had to call the manager of the building to report it, because there was no security person in the building!

2- Almost every evening, my room was filled with a heavy smell of food. my neighbors across had to open their doors while cooking because they don’t have any windows!

3- I reported that I have giant flies buzzing 7/24 in my room, they didn’t care.

4- The lift was not working most of my stay so I had to carry all my stuff up to three floors. And moving out was a struggle.

5- And after all these failures, they are shameless enough to offer %60 cut in the deposit! For unbelievable excuses, like if you move your bed preventing the brick wall crumble over you when you lean, BAM! you are charged £25 for redecoration. This is unacceptable.

So, I hope you stay away from those swindlers.
