I had a great experience with Waller &Farnworth estate agent. They seamlessly handled all the views and got offers for the property which I was happy with. There was great communication throughout and they are a pleasure to work with. I definitely recommend their services for you if you are thinking of selling or buying

I work for Waller and Farnworth but my review is not biased as selling my house and purchasing a new one has opened my eyes to how estate agents differ. My experience as a vendor with house to sell was fantastic after living at the same address for 25 years, the guidance from Adrian when putting the property on the market. Anthony's diligence in chasing and dealing with the conveyancing was great. I always recommended W&F, but even more so now as I have been through the process of moving home and seen the how a vendor process has been conducted first hand.

I've used twice for house sales, both times advice was freely given and taken.
Both times houses sold for more than my estimate and above price of others in area.
Friendly, knowledgeable and professional at a great cost.
Only hiccups come from the other side but they handle and keep you informed.

Our house sale was a sale from hell for the poor estate agents, they made umpteen appointments where clients just didn't turn up - all of which is such a waste of their time, but we got there eventually and I must say that we were kept informed about every viewing and every piece of information that they could offer. It was not an easy sale but thank you to all the staff there.

Our experience with this estate agent has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. We viewed a property twice and subsequently submitted an offer. After around three weeks, we were advised by both phone and email that our offer had been accepted. All the requested documentation was sent promptly — in fact, some items were sent multiple times due to the office claiming they “couldn’t find” them. Despite repeated requests, we were never issued a Memorandum of Sale.

We were then informed the property was going to “best and final offers.” We complied, only to be told that our original offer was still the accepted one. Weeks passed with no communication or confirmation, and again, no Memorandum of Sale was provided.

Our solicitor also attempted to make contact and was completely ignored. From early August through to now, there has been little to no transparency, no updates, and no progress. Today, we discovered that the property has been updated to SSTC — not to us — and once again, with absolutely no communication or explanation.

This is not how customers should be treated. The lack of professionalism, communication, and transparency throughout this process has been unacceptable and has caused significant frustration and wasted time. Overall, a very poor experience, and I would urge others to proceed with caution.
