My experience is the same as a vast number of others, in many countries. Just Horrible. Today I finally received my final payment from an Ontario investment with Walton, 21 long years after I made it. The investment lost money. Which is incomprehensible given it happened during the period of the largest increase in property values in Canadian history. Over 21 years. Yes, lost money. Not only did it loose money but the protracted, complicated manner it was paid to investors was disgusting. The fees to process the protracted payments were almost the entire value of some Interest payments. How could such a deal be in the best interest of the investors Walton have a duty of care to protect. Fees, delays, more fees, more excuses. The people who work for this company, and those who work indirectly in association with them, should be ashamed of what they do, and how they do it. You can’t get a more rotten apple.

I was trying to find a Google review about Walton.com in Singapore, but I discovered that the review I was looking for had been removed.

I feel it is important to share my personal experience so that other potential investors can make informed decisions. I am honestly embarrassed that I trusted a friend who was an agent for the company and invested in land in the USA about 15 years ago.

My experience with the customer service has been extremely disappointing. I would personally rate my experience with the customer service as 0/5. I also found the agent I dealt with to be rude and irresponsible. At one point, the agent suddenly left without properly informing investors, which made me even more concerned about how the company handles its investors and operations.

Another major concern I have is the process of getting my investment and related tax amounts back. When I asked why I was required to provide personal documents, including my passport, I was told that this was compulsory. I was also concerned to learn that my personal details were being submitted to authorities in the USA. As an investor from another country, I would like a clear explanation of why these documents are required, what information is being submitted, which authorities receive it, and how my personal data is protected.

I was told that if I did not provide the requested information, I would not be able to receive my tax amount back, and that a significant amount could be withheld. I found this process very concerning and difficult to understand.

I have also had concerns about the administration process. For example, I was unable to get a clear explanation as to why I was required to submit tax-related documents twice.

I am sharing this because I wish I had known more before making this investment. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering an investment with this company to do extensive independent research, ask detailed questions about the investment structure and exit process, and understand exactly how their personal information and tax matters will be handled.

There are many investment options available, so please take your time, understand what you are investing in, and make sure you are comfortable with the risks, documentation, and processes before committing your money—especially when the investment involves property or land in another country.

I have 2 plots of canadian land which was bought like more thrn 20 years ago but recently their new scheme is to tell you their working on securing your land for sale and that there is a new plot they hope that u can invest when yours mature. I mean why would u invest with them when cant even return your investment that you have invested for 20 yrs.

Corrupt. A scam. No way of contacting them, phones go to a third party, emails are never answered. Liars and thieves.

Do not invest with them unless you want to throw away your hard earned money! They are scammed!!

I invested more than ten years ago and have regretted it ever since. I doubt i will receive a reasonable return if any at all. From my personal experience - AVOID.

Finally paid out — but after 4 years of frustration.

I invested in Walton’s South Dumfries 2 project, which closed in October 2021. I only received my final payout in November 2025 — more than four years later.

- Delays: The process dragged on endlessly. Walton repeatedly blamed the Canadian Revenue Agency, but the reality is that errors in documentation and poor handling on Walton’s side caused years of unnecessary delay.
- Communication: Walton’s communication was consistently poor. I had to chase them every few months for updates, only to receive vague, boilerplate responses. Promises of timelines (“end of the year,” “in the pipeline”) were broken time and again.
- Financial Impact: Investors suffered a 50% loss on the property, and even then Walton held onto funds for years before releasing them. At one point, a CRA cheque was even returned due to incorrect handling.
- Trust: Walton’s lack of transparency and accountability destroyed any confidence in their management.

Yes, I was finally paid out yesterday — but no investor should have to wait over 4 years after a sale to receive their funds. The experience was stressful, drawn-out, and completely unacceptable.

If you value timely payouts, clear communication, and professionalism, avoid Walton.

This company promises substantial returns on capital. Nothing could be further from the truth. My funds have been tied up and unavailable for over a decade and I have been informed that they have a sale of the land that will return me 2.5%pa !!!!!!!!!!!! Worse than that the full funds will not be available until 2029.
