The inclusiveness of the society is amazing the number of things to do and experience was fantastic. Wasteland were always there to help and make me feel welcome especially amongst other universities.

Izzy and Alice were both fantastic reps and took great care of us whilst in Val Thoren. I felt very looked after and appreciated how warm and friendly they were. Would highly recommend both these too and Wasteland Travel overall!

Overall, I had a good experience with Waistland Travel, mainly because the organisation of the trip was very smooth. Everything was easy to book in advance, including the bus rides, ski pass, and equipment hire. That made the whole process simple and stress-free, and the activities and events during the holiday were really enjoyable.

However, the accommodation situation was quite difficult. I ended up sharing with eight people, which was exhausting and meant I didn’t always have the energy to fully enjoy the holiday. I would honestly have been willing to pay extra for a smaller or quieter living arrangement if that option had been available. Unfortunately, we didn’t really know the details of the accommodation until we arrived, which made it harder to prepare for.

The events and activities organised by the company were great, and those parts of the trip were very well done. But I would suggest that Waistland Travel offer clearer information about accommodation beforehand and possibly provide upgrade options for people who want a quieter or smaller living arrangement.

Overall, it was a fun trip with good organisation, but the accommodation setup had a big impact on the experience. I would recommend the trip for the activities and ease of booking, but only if you’re comfortable with shared living arrangements.

Had the best time in VT with the reps Izzy and Alice, they made it such a great time and the whole week they were so helpful !! :)

Val Thorens was easily one of my favourite ski trips. I went with Wasteland, and the whole vibe was unreal from start to finish.

The skiing was amazing perfect snow, long runs, and loads of variety whether I wanted to cruise or go fast. Being so high up, the conditions stayed great all day.

What made it though was the group. With Wasteland, every run was fun racing, laughing, and just enjoying it all. Then straight into après, which was just as lively.

Overall, such a good mix of great skiing and an even better atmosphere. Would 100% do it again.

Had an unreal week with NUSSC in Risoul. Massive thank you to all of the WLT HQ and reps who helped organise and implement the week. Special thanks to Lily and Molly who were awesome at Apres getting everyone involved, and Greta who was super helpful and lovely on room rounds!!

Went to Tignes had a class time. Djs were banging, organisation was perfect and everything taken care off. Shoutout especially to Menyelek helped with everything and was a top rep.

Great trip at a fair price. Wasteland reps Menyelek and Emma made our trip 10/10, would definitely recommend to a friend or do it again myself!

Really helpful and organised. All the reps were so friendly and were genuinely looking out for your safety on the mountain. I felt there was support throughout the whole uni ski trip!

I couldn't fault Wasteland at all this trip, they delivered on everything.
From customer service prior to the trip, on the slopes, and even on the journey back.
Before the trip, I was relatively anxious that everything was okay and I had everything in place to make sure all was sound. I checked a couple weeks before the trip to see if my luggage was okay and realised I had mistakenly left off my ski bag from the booking. I contacted Wasteland straight away and spoke to a lady called Maeve. Although she couldn't promise that l'd be able to bring my ski bag on the journey, she guaranteed she would try her best to get in touch with the transport company. Only a few minutes later and she called me back to let me know it was all okay and went a step further by sending an email for confirmation so that l'd have no issues in case it hadn't registered on the system. The best customer service l'd had from a travel agency.
Upon arriving, the Wasteland reps made sure they were visible and introduced theirselves. I was shocked that they were my age on the basis they conducted theirselves so professionally.
The journey was long with a few disruptions (not at the fault of Wasteland) but our rep made sure spirits stayed high and kept us excited to be there.

We finally arrived in France and throughout the week they helped with any queries, made theirselves visible, but also got involved with the fun, which helped make the trip one of the most memorable I have ever had.

Couldn't thank Wasteland enough for the amazing time and amazing customer support. Will definitely be booking with them again.

MUSKI trip to alpe d’huez. Phenomenal week due to the WLT team made sure everything went off without a hitch. Frankie and Tony was the perfect duo to make so it was a fun as it could have been!

Wasteland were really helpful and friendly throughout the whole trip. We got locked out our room and the staff responded immediately. Menyelek was such a top man, social and professional and went out of his way to help our group. Would highly recommend travelling with these guys, was a blast.

As a First time committee member coming into are trip i was very nervous, we booked onto the trip late which came with complications however communication and support from are account manager Frankie was incredibly and helped to get us out on trip. While on trip we met some incredible reps who made the experience. I want to specifically highlight Menyelek who was super friendly from the moment we met him as well as Emma and Sophie who were also helpful and friendly. We are really looking forward to working with wasteland again next year.

As Part of Bath Spa Snowsports Committee we couldn’t have asked for a better experience when hosting our trip for our society members. Wasteland were absolutely incredible and we will definitely be using them in the coming years. I would like to give a special mention to Menyelek and Sophie who were amazing reps when we was out at resort and Head of Reps Tony and our Head of Resort Frankie, they were all really helpful with everything we needed and so friendly to speak with. Anyone who gets to have them as your reps in resort will be very lucky as they really made the trip special for all of us.

Had a super fab trip in Les Arc, everything went super smooth with Wasteland transfers, equipment rentals and accommodation. Our reps Maddie and Charlotte in particular were so lovely and helpful with getting to lessons, doing room checks and having a dance at apres - all round great vibes. Thanks so much!
(Would recommend Tournavelle Accomm getting drains in the shower room that was a minor nightmare)

Had the best time in Les Arcs on York uni ski trip. Our reps Dora, Alice and Charlotte were so friendly and helpful and made the trip so much better
