Well firstly like a lot of reviewers I was only offered £80 for my reg even though I just paid £80 to put it on retention so I could put my new reg on my car. I just wanted rid as was my married name reg so wouldn’t be using ever again. So five stars as communication was top notch. Paul very quick to respond and assure me on the process. I was apprehensive about sending my new style retention certificate with no payment upfront. However, like I said Paul assured me I would be paid the £80 agreed. I sent this First Class Recorded missing Thursdays post and received the £80 less than two days later (on a Saturday too). So all in all I am happy, reg no longer mine (good riddance) and got £80. So I do recommend as people are under no obligation to accept the offer they receive. Definitely a company to be trusted.

Excellent communication and prompt payment for my personal number plate

I contacted 'we buy any number plate' in early 24 & received a reply from Paul within a couple of days which was great & with a price which I was happy with. He asked me to sign & send him a copy of the retention doc via email which I did, & then send the signed retention document in the post & he would pay me straight away. I didn't post the doc, because despite 2-3 emails to clarify about bank details he never contacted me again, perhaps he was too busy? or that mine was only a really cheap one & he didn't really want it?. I contacted DVLA & they said that you should not sign the doc & send it without payment first, because once signed you no longer own it & it can be transfered & then sold. So please dont email any details to anyone & please make sure you have the payment BEFORE YOU POST IT! to anyone. The DVLA were very helpful & sent me out a new retention document free of charge, just as a precaution.
