West Country Movers provided an excellent service. I had made an error with the moving date and Sophie and Ricky were able to provide a prompt and quick response to be able to dispatch a team at the last minute. I was really impressed with their customer service and ability to act so quickly removing the stress of the move. The moving team were very friendly, and provided a really quick and efficient service. I would highly recommend them to others.

Very fast, friendly services who listened to what we need. They turned up with 3 vans and 9 people when they did our (fairly large move) but were done by 1pm... I was slightly in shock but very pleased. No complaints about the amount of stuff, the weight or even the wierdness of having to move to much.

I chose West Country Movers for their flexibility and easy going manner, and have no regrets.

The move was from Somerset to Cheshire and needed careful handling because I was relocating my elderly mother and she has particular care needs. Sophie was fastest off the mark when I sent out for quotes to various companies, and then Ricky, the company owner, visited personally to quote and understand the requirements. He organised a 3 day move with packing so I could focus on Mum and move her slowly.

Thereby we had a pack and collect on Day 1, a day's break at my request and delivery early on Day 3. The three man team on Day 1 (Ross, Bud and Jordan) were done in less than four hours and as Mum was still in the house, (asleep on the sofa at one point) they simply worked around her and were kind and considerate with her. The lads finished so quickly that we had plenty of time for the cleaners etc in the afternoon.

On Day 3 Bud and Jordan arrived with two vehicles first thing in the morning and were unloaded by lunchtime, placing everything in room of choice, and even doing some repositioning on request. They showed great understanding and empathy for my mothers circumstances, (despite how much stuff she's hoarded over the years!)

I was very pleased with the down to earth and customer focused service.

We were moved by West Country Movers Team from Newton Abbot to the Lake District, over 300 miles journey. It was a 2 day move and our belongings were unloaded the following day.
We're so delighted we chose these removers and cannot recommend them highly enough to others. The guys were such a hard working crew running like a well oiled machine, friendly and good humoured and very helpful throughout, making the move go extremely smoothly. During unloading it began to rain heavy (typical Lakeland weather) but did not deter them from pressing on and finishing the job in good time, even when getting soaked to the skin! Full admiration and respect for their perseverance! Nothing seemed too much trouble when wanting to re-position furniture and other household items. Best of all the large bed was dismantled and re-erected as part of the service, which would have been a hassle on the day of the move. They were careful loading and transporting all the belongings, everything having arrived in one piece and not one single breakage. Overall they were superb and we couldn't have chosen better removers. Their price was very competitive also, so well worth checking out for a quote. Many thanks again to Ricky, Bill and the others for doing a fantastic job!!

Moved us yesterday and simply put outstanding. On time the guys were friendly, fun and respectful and went above and beyond. As the expression goes this wasn’t our first rodeo but this was the best company we have used in 23 years. I am generally a miserable git but I was happy to pay their bill and genuinely I would not hesitate to recommend.

We were let down by another removal van very last minute but West Country Movers accommodated us the very next day. Moving house is very stressful especially with a baby but you made it easier for us. Thank you so much to Rick who was very helpful on the phone and to Delvin and Chris who were very kind, efficient and honest as I overpaid them by mistake. They informed me about the overpayment and return the money. We would highly recommend you.

Moving house is a stressful experience for most people but on the day of my move Matt and Delvin, from West Country Movers, were cool, calm and collected, which made the day go as well as it could. They took care of everything, so a big huge THANK YOU to Matt and Delvin for all their help and professionalism. I would definitely use West Country Movers again.

We had a quote about 3 weeks ago, for 2x triple wardrobes and very heavy mattress to be move up stairs. The staircase is very tight and small, not an issue for the team come over and had the stuff upstairs in 30 mins all in place no moaning just cracked on. Words cannot say how happy we are. Highly recommend this company.

A really friendly team who arrived very punctually and carried out my removal with no fuss or complaint. It was not a straightforward move as there were many steps involved but the team of Ross, Kieron and Jordon handled it both efficiently and competently and I couldn't have wished for a better service. The team in the office are also extremely friendly and polite and accommodating of all requests, would highly recommend this company.

The team were great throughout- from the from the survey to the quote to the actual move. Competitive price. Bill and Sean worked so hard. Everyone very nice. Belongings moved quickly and carefully.

We have just moved house and storage unit on two of the hottest days of the year. On both occasions we were lucky enough to have used West Country Movers and in particular Bud who was involved in both moves.
They were on time, polite,helpful, very hard working and respectful of our house and contents.
Despite the heat they maintained a high work rate and a sense of humour. On the basis of our two moves I would happily recommend them.

The removers were punctual, patient and really experienced. They took great care with my things, were very helpful and I highly recommend them.

I would like to say what great chaps from West Country Movers I had to move me less than a couple of weeks ago, from Somerset to Kent. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they did everything with a smile, and in good humour. They were efficient and speedy. The journey wasn't easy, on school holiday's out, get away Friday. I was delayed getting there, and despite having to wait to unload, they made light of it, and were still smiling. I can't thank you both enough Bud and other kind person, and also for the amazing kindness and patience shown to me by Sophie to make it all possible on the day. I really can't recommend this lovely firm enough. Thank you Christine Ann.

West Country Movers did a great job moving us out of storage and into our new home. They were friendly, helpful, and diligent. I would definitely recommend them.
