Extremely disappointing customer…

Extremely disappointing customer experience.

I purchased a bicycle costing almost €8,000, expecting premium service to match the premium price. Instead, the bike was delivered five weeks later than promised, causing me to miss two cycling tours that I had specifically planned with my new bike.

I contacted customer support four weeks ago, explained the situation politely, and requested a goodwill gesture. Despite waiting for a month, I have not received any response—not even an acknowledgment.

Delays can happen, but completely ignoring a customer after such an expensive purchase is unacceptable. Premium prices should come with premium customer service. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Assistenza garanzia corretta e veloce

Assistenza garanzia corretta e veloce. Rotto il telaio della MTB Wilier Usma slr di mia figlia durante un' uscita normale su strada. Dopo loro verifica è stato sostituito con un telaio nuovo in garanzia, in breve tempo.

Fate attenzione prima di acquistare una…

Fate attenzione prima di acquistare una Wilier, ho acquistato a gennaio 25 un kit telaio Verticale slr, a 5000€ su 5800 di listino, a distanza di 10 mesi non riesco a rivenderlo perche ci sono offerte di bici complete a 5600/5800€. Prodotto e marchio sviliti al massimo, non acquistero mai piu una Wilier

Do not buy an e-MTB/MTB from them!

The bikes have a poor maintenance design and the customer service is terrible. I asked them for instructions on how to remove the battery and they literally told me: “sorry, to remove the battery, the engine must be loosened. It's a technical operation, I recommend going to the dealer for direct help.”

That turned out to be completely false. The dealer showed me it’s actually really easy to do. But here’s the catch: once you remove the battery, you can’t reassemble the bike without it — which is something you often need to do at downhill bike parks.

The documentation they provide for the e-MTB isn’t even for it — it’s just some generic road bike manual. They advertise a 5-year frame guarantee, but then tell you it doesn’t apply because the rear triangle is aluminum instead of carbon (a nice little loophole).

On top of that, the rear suspension is designed in such a way that you actually need to take it off just to read the serial number and set the suspension pressure. That’s something every rider needs to do when setting up a new bike — they could have just put a simple sticker on the frame, but didn’t bother.

And just to add — the other bad reviews here are absolutely on point. I’ve had very similar experiences, so this isn’t just a one-off case.

Wilier Triestina spa.........una delusione assoluta

Ho acquistato una Wilier Garda Hybrid il 13 agosto scorso e ad oggi, 10 settembre, non sono ancora riuscita a usarla poiché l'alimentatore non funziona e non mi è ancora stato sostituito
Servizio clienti pessimo! Nessun aiuto e nessuna assistenza.
Ero orgogliosa di avere una bici italiana e invece.........

Bought a e-bike from and the frame…d

Bought a e-bike from and the frame broke after little over one year. It toke over 4-5 month to get the frame replaced. Under 2 year warranty. New frame broke from the same spot after a year as well. Called them but no help was offered. Even after offring to pay for the fix. Now i have a good ebike that i can ride because of a broken frame. Never buying from them again.

SAV déplorable…

Très beaux vélos mais qualité fortement dégradée ces dernières années.
SAV déplorable.
Depuis la réception de mon Zéro SL il y a 2 ans, pédalier changé deux fois, roulements de direction HS…. Et un problème de peinture qui n’a aujourd’hui toujours pas été résolu malgré toute la volonté du vélociste.

Delusione

Riporto la mia esperienza su una Wilier Triestina Jena . Acquistata nel 2021, questa bicicletta gravel in carbonio mi aveva inizialmente entusiasmato per le sue prestazioni e leggerezza. Purtroppo, la mia esperienza è stata bruscamente interrotta un mese fa, quando la forcella in carbonio si è rotta durante una normale uscita.

Mi sarei aspettato una maggiore robustezza da un componente così cruciale, soprattutto considerando il tipo di utilizzo per cui è progettata una bicicletta gravel. È evidente che il componente fosse difettoso, e mi sarei aspettato una maggiore correttezza da parte dell'azienda.

Nonostante il problema, l'azienda ha proposto uno sconto per la sostituzione della forcella che ritengo del tutto insufficiente. Considerando la gravità del difetto e il fatto che la bicicletta fosse ancora in ottime condizioni, ritengo che la sostituzione gratuita del pezzo fosse il minimo.

Sono profondamente deluso da questa esperienza. Nonostante apprezzassi le qualità di guida di questa bicicletta, la fragilità della forcella e la scarsa disponibilità dell'azienda a risolvere il problema in modo adeguato mi hanno lasciato con l'amaro in bocca.

Acquistato bici gravel Jaroon acciaio presso negozio di Trento.
Bicicletta molto bene imballata
Ma una volta montata ha rivelato
Tutti e 2 i dischi freno storti,
Pinze freno coi pistoncini che non spingevano in modo uguale
Ruote con una pessima scorrevolezza .
Se questa è la qualità wilier
Dio ci Liberi .

Ho richiesto assistenza per una E-Bike…

Ho richiesto assistenza per una E-Bike del costo di più di 5000€. Si sono decisi a rispondere dopo settimane rimbalzandozando responsabilità col rivenditore di zona. Ma nessuna risposta da entrambe le parti è mai arrivata

Velo Wilier Filante hybrid

Acheté un vélo en mai….après 3 sorties problème moteur….mon vélociste réparé….en core trois sorties et moteur hs…. Wilier ne répond pas à mes mails…retour du velo chez Wilier 3 semaines après….résultat,nous sommes le 13/août et tjs pas de vélo….j’ai déboursé 7800 Euros pour au final ne pas avoir pu profiter de ce vélo…le SAV est une catastrophe….

The online store is anything but customer-friendly

I ordered and paid for five items but only two were delivered. After enquiring, I was told that all five items had been packed and dispatched. There was no packing list enclosed with the parcel. After repeated inquiries, no reply was received. I am very disappointed and cannot recommend this online store.

Terrible customer service

Wilier are not interested in customer service. I got a scratch on my very expensive £5k+ frame through a minor accident, which was not my fault. Wilier were disinterested and singularly unhelpful in providing any useful information about the colour I needed. I tried multiple times (as did the bike shop) over many months to get help and Wilier either did not respond or they just brushed my concerns off. Most critically, they were not prepared to provide any touch up paint, even to the UK Rep that was visiting the factory. Unbelievable, given how easily they could have helped me. I was so upset having invested so much in buying the bike, I almost fell out of love with the bike. Fortunately, a paint repair specialist, I found, has now (6 months later) sorted it back to new. Wilier will now be unlikely to get any sales from anyone in the two cycling clubs I ride with.

Extraordinarily poor Wilier after sales support.

Wilier are a high end Italian bike manufacturer however their after sales support is abysmal.

I bought a Cento 10 NDR which subsequently had an Actiflex failure. I tried to get this repaired using Wiliers recommended agent however after 3 months I still have no solution.

The agent advises they are waiting for Wilier to provide the spares and Wilier will only not speak directly to me as a customer!! Madness.

These are lovely bikes however, if you are considering a Wilier please factor in extraordinarily poor after sales support.

So people get a feel for just how bad the service is. See below a BRIEF timeline:
14th June 2021 - Wilier first contacted. Advised to speak to the their local agent.
7th September - bike to agent
10th September - Agent advises they have agreed with Wilier to change out the complete Actiflex system.
7th October - Checked with agent when I might get the bike back, They advised they had not had the spares from Wilier and had no timeline for delivery of the spares.
11-14th October - multiple emails with Wilier Customer Support to try and understand when the spares would be available. They would not say and said I could only seek updates from the agent (who has had no update from Wilier!!
14th October an email from Wilier (who I am not supposed to speak to) asking for Frame number and proof of purchase. Provided same day.
20th October sent email to Wilier as follow up to their request for frame number and proof of purchase. They responded by saying:
"Contact the nearest dealer Official Wilier Triestina and help you solve your problems, questions or updates.
