Me and my partner visited wine & something’s warehouse for a private wine tasting with work friends. It was the first wine tasting we had done like this so we weren’t sure what to expect as we are far from being wine connoisseurs. However, Dale and his team put together a really fun blind tasting of 5 different wines (and a cheese board!) spilt us up into two teams and made a little game of it! You can tell it’s a passion of Dales, he’s so full of knowledge on all things wine, had the most amazing story’s and has this way of making things feel very personal. He can select what wine he thinks you’ll like off of what you’ve told him and there was even a bar set up after the tasting for you to try and buy whatever you want.
I have since ordered a case of different wines to try at home as well as some of the ones we tried at the tasting. The website is so easy to browse, with an easy breakdown of what you might be looking for. You have the option of what country or region you want to look at, what grape, food pairings, style your looking for, it even gives you ready put together cases for occasions like girls night or games night for when you really want to impress your guests. There’s such a variety of prices that there really is something for everyone. One of the things I love the most however was that inside my order was my delivery note which had a hand written message on from Dale saying how it was lovely to meet myself and Harry the other day. The fast delivery and personal touches made to our order is just a couple of things that make this company so unique. It’s so nice to be able to support such a local business. Just lovely people and a lovely vibe, also a great gift idea for wine lovers, friends and family’s to get together and have a little wine & fun.
It has truly opened up my world to wine more, I learnt so much and it has made me want to learn more! Thank you so much again x

This order was for my wife and I to attend a tasting of Oldenburg wines.
The event was well organised and very enjoyable.
I particularly appreciated the fact that a representative of the Oldenburg wine estate had come from South Africa to lend his knowledge to the occasion.

We held a wine tasting social for our organisation's staff at Wine & Something, and it was brilliant! Great fun, incredibly well organised and slick, relaxed and perhaps most importantly - excellent wines. Dale was incredibly knowledgeable and put us all at ease even though many of us did not have heaps of wine knowledge prior to the event. We would definitely recommend this as a staff social, and recommend their wines!

Brilliant - easy and swift service!

I explained to Dale the types of wine I like to drink and then asked him to recommend some new wines to me. I purchased a selection of his recommendations and they where great! I am still working my way through the bottles but I am very pleased with the wines so far.

Dale was really helpful and clearly listened to me. The delivery was speedy and the wines were very well wrapped. I would highly recommend.
