If I could rate higher than five stars I absolutely would do! Everything was fantastic, all of the staff at wood medispa are phenomenal. From my initial consultation with Mr McDiarmid I felt in safe hands and he immediately put me at ease and went through all of the options available. Mr McDiarmid is really personable and approachable and I felt as though I could ask any questions I had without and judgement. Despite him being busy he made time to check in on me and my well being both before and after surgery. The ward staff put me at ease as soon as I arrived, Zoe especially couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful and despite me being nervous she really made me feel at home and comfortable. It really didn’t feel like I was in a hospital but more like a well equipped hotel.
The follow up after my surgery has been great with a lot of information and support.
Wood medispa is like no other hospital I have ever seen, it is a stunning building and you can tell that a lot of love has been poured in to making it a really lovely environment to recover in. The food served is like being at a restaurant and was delicious, nothing has been missed and I really couldn’t recommend Wood medispa or Mr McDiarmid and his amazing team more.

A genuine 5 star from start to finish. Welcomed to the most beautiful house and gardens and a wonderful peacock. Relaxed me instantly. Facilities and room spotless. Lovely helpful and knowledgeable nurses. The operation went perfect and exactly as I wanted. Follow ups have been great. I’ve already recommended friends. The aftercare has been great. I would not hesitate to go back if needed. There’s certainly no need to travel to London if you are in the West Country.

My whole experience from consultation through to aftercare has been amazing. I have been well informed, and treated as though I was the only person there during my stay!

I had my breast implant replacement surgery at Woods MediSpa last week and my wound review yesterday and everything has been incredible! From the moment I arrived I was made to feel welcomed, calmed and extremely cared for. The service was above and beyond any expectations that I had and the care I was given was exceptional.

A special mention to Holly who made me feel completely at ease and comfortable and made any nerves I had completely disappeared - she is a real star! And of course a huge thank you to James. He has really worked his magic and only 9 days post surgery I am thrilled with my results - this man is incredible!

After much research I chose James McDiarmid to perform abdominoplasty, breast lift and implants after losing 8 stone in weight. I am beyond pleased that I did. My surgery was in January 2023 and my results are exceptional, and I couldn't be happier with the information and care I received from my initial consultation to the follow up appointments with James.

He made me feel at ease and I felt I could trust him. (He did not let me down). I am extremely pleased with my breast reduction and uplift. The experience at the hospital was first class the staff are friendly, professional, caring and kind. And the building and grounds are beautiful. The aftercare has also been excellent. I found everybody very welcoming, friendly and professional, 3 weeks after my blepharoplasty and I am thrilled with the results so far. I have previous experience with Mr McDiarmid and always felt in safe hands, Would recommend Wood Medi Spa to anyone!

Firstly and most importantly, I’m thrilled with the results of my upper bleph. Three weeks post surgery, you can hardly see signs that I’ve had anything done at all and beyond the quick healing the overall look of my eye is refreshed and youthful.

I recently had a breast augmentation at wood medi spa and I couldn’t be more grateful!! Honestly I had such a good overall experience and I am so so happy with my results. From the consultation with James to having the procedure done he really really took note of what I wanted and gave me just that! Really amazing at what he does. To the lovely lovely nurses who looked after me as soon as I walked into the door to have the procedure to then leaving again, it was just amazing. The staff and the treatment received at Wood MediSpa was above and beyond expectation. I had my consultation with Mr James McDiarmid, who put me at ease, listened to my concerns and recommended a deep-plane facelift and browlift with fat transfer to restore lost volume.
Everything was clearly and honestly explained, including any possible risks so that I felt confident.
I was under no pressure to go ahead and could ask further questions at anytime.
James and the entire team are amazing. I was taken such good care of by the wonderful, kind nurses. Although I was swollen, bruised and uncomfortable for the first few days in particular, I wasn't in any pain. The results are way better than I could have hoped, and this is only one month post op.
After care information and follow up appointments have also been superb.

I had Rhinoplasty with Paul Wilson in February 2024 and received excellent care from him and the nurses who were attentive and reassuring. The facility is tranquil and well presented, my room was well equipped, comfortable and the food during my stay was delicious. The aftercare support was clear. I am awaiting the removal of my stitches, and yet to see the results of my surgery, but so far very happy with the process and have complete confidence in Paul and the team at WoodsMedispa.

The staff are what you would call brilliant. Flick is approachable friendly and knowledgeable, no task is too big, no questions is a silly questions.
Nurses, AMAZING. Janice, Zoe, Ella, Holly, Denise. Absolute professionals, comforting, caring, reassuring and just the most wonderful human beings.
The operating threatre staff….. made me feel at ease at all time, they do everything to keep you calm and reassured whilst keep your dignity . There a lady that holds your hand whilst you go under and she made me feel like I wanted her to be my mum.
The premises. Clean, tidy, beautiful, everything I hoped for.
The food……wish I could book a table to just go back for an evening meal.

I can’t rate wood MediSpa enough.

I have just had my 3rd proceduce done with James.. First was Breast Augmentation, second was Tummy Tuck & lipo, now had upper eyelids, rhinoplasty, chin implant & neck lipo..
Bit bruised & swollen, but thats to be expected. I stayed 1 night. All the nurses are magnificent, shout out to Joan who was so lovely & Holly & her special honey teas.. The food is just devine as always.. i would highly recommend James if you are thinking of having any procedure done. You don’t feel under any pressure to book anything..

OMG they were amazing!!!!, had implant removal and uplift, it has been the best money I have spent.

All the staff were so thoughtful and considerate, my surgeon James McDiarmid was fantastic, I had an extra telephone face call consultation as I had some concerns but after talking with him it cleared up any worries I had.

I cannot recommend this Company highly enough to express how pleased I am with my results, I was also amazed at how affordable it was.

If I could give wood medispa 10 stars I would. What an amazing experience, yesterday morning me and my mum arrived at wood medispa for my mums surgery. My mum is deaf and communicates only on lip reading, every single member of staff was so patient with my mum and all of her needs. Everybody we met during our stay was absolutely lovely, bubbly, smiley and super friendly - what an amazing bunch of people. My mum was concerned and worried about me leaving her and staying in a hotel nearby due to her being deaf and Mr James Mc Diarmid organised a room with two beds in so I could share a room with my mum and help her if she didn’t understand and have any miscommunication.
Thank you to James and every single member of staff who cared for mum and me at wood medispa. Would HIGHLY recommend to anybody thinking of having surgery, you will not be disappointed. We left feeling so happy and greatful. Keep being amazing guys!

I had tear trough filler with James today and the result is incredible. Such amazing treatment, everyone there is so lovely. Absolutely stunning location too. I am considering going back for rhinoplasty.
