If I could give it 0 star I would have done so. WOW is a shady company, playing the bait and switch game . Blatantly lying to potential customers. Way overpriced and rude customer service! NO THANKS!!

Great Service with Wowway

I had a crew at my property installing a new fence and they accidentally cut through the Wowway cable that runs to my house. It was already after 4:00 pm when I called Wow, and James from Wowway sent a technician first thing the next morning. The technician (A Gaines) was here by 8:00 am and ran a completely new cable. I thought they could just splice the old cable, but he informed me that they do not splice cable. The new cable is double shielded unlike the old, single shielded cable, so it should hold up better and prevent interference better. Within about 30 minutes after his arrival, he had the new cable strung and connected and my internet and streaming were back up and running. The very next day at about 8:00 am, the Wowway guy who buries the cable was outside my house, and in no time, he had the new cable buried, run under my sidewalk, and connected again. I had minimal down time. Both technicians were prompt, courteous, and efficient. Great job, Wowway. I sincerely appreciate the quick response, and I highly recommend your service.

83% say you don't even deserve ONE Star.

I have never had a internet provider in past 25 years that was as unreliable as this Wow! Crap!!

Your customer service agents are ill-manered. They try to talk over everything you have to say until you have to start yelling. They are probably doing it on purpose and get their entertainment from it.

Sick people.

Rude WOW! Business customer support

I called WOW! Business customer support because our internet was down. The tech representative’s tone came across as rude and impatient. Once my contract ends, I plan to switch to a different provider.

No customer loyalty or appreciation

I kept being billed for "Unreturned Equipment" after I followed all their instructions of retuning their equipment via the box they sent using Fedex (which they also instructed). I have been using WOW internet since 2016 (9 years). They have no customer loyalty or appreciation.

Awful internet provider

Awful internet provider, probably the worst one I ever had. It's constantly going out, and when they make mistakes with your auto-pay, they charge you double to reconnect your service (for their mistake!) Choose anyone else except them!!!

WOW made a mess in yards installing…

WOW made a mess in yards installing service to our subdivision. They have cut other services. Calls to complain are not being handled swiftly. The have the attitude that they think you should be honored to have their fiber service. Prices may be lower to start, but they will go up.

I do not recommend this company!

Unfortunately, my experience with WOW! for business internet and phone services has been very disappointing, and based on what I have gone through, I do not believe this is a reputable company.

We initially signed a contract for internet and phone service, but continually struggled with issues on their phone apps that WOW! could not resolve. We managed to work around those problems until our office relocated in May. At that point, we discovered our new location was not serviced by WOW!. Instead of working with us fairly, they attempted to charge an exorbitant fee for not continuing with the contract—even though they did not provide service in our new area.

We were told to return the company’s phone equipment, which we did promptly. WOW! assured us that once the phones were received, a refund of the fee would be issued in the form of a Visa card. Although we requested a standard refund instead, they refused. Shortly thereafter, they charged our account again, this time claiming that more equipment had not been returned. At no time were we informed that additional equipment was required, and none of the items in our office were labeled with WOW! stickers to identify them.

At that point, I was prepared to take the loss—but then another unexplained charge appeared on our account the following month. After five months of back-and-forth, I had no choice but to block WOW! on my business credit card to prevent further charges.

This entire ordeal has been both time-consuming and frustrating. If you are considering WOW! for your business, I strongly advise against it. In my experience, the company has not acted honorably, and their practices have caused significant financial and operational headaches.

they will claim that you did not return the equipment even after you’ve sent it back

Please save your time and money. DO NOT go with WOW. The service itself is unreliable, but the bigger issue is how they handle cancellations. If you decide to end your service, they will claim that you did not return the equipment even after you’ve sent it back. This is a dishonest practice that leads to unnecessary charges and wasted effort disputing them. Avoid this company and choose a provider that is transparent and fair with customers.

Hit and Miss

wow way is constantly going out - Why are they going down during the day, evening and late night? It is a constant battle - The worst thing is they are the only internet provider in the area! - Always goes off around 10pm till about 1015 - Doesn't anyone in the company care about their customers anymore? When you pay for a full service, you expect full service not 3/4 service. I would not recommend then except ..

Dishonest Billing and Poor Communication

I called to customer service in WOW! and told them that I wanted to cancel the service and when they did I returned all the equipments, I even submitted a formal cancellation request and after going through all that, they told me that i have to pay a $168 early termination fee even though i cancelled only days before the renewal date.

After waiting a full year to cancel, I was hit with a $168 “early termination fee,” even though I cancelled just days before the renewal date.
Before cancelling, I followed every step: returned all equipment, submitted a signed cancellation form, and even confirmed by phone that my account was closed. Not once was I told about this fee.
The bill felt like a gotcha. WOW never communicated these charges, and their support offered nothing but a demand for payment.
I won’t be using WOW again. If you do, read the fine print—because they certainly won’t highlight the terms that cost you money.

Absolute fraud company.
How is possible they're billing vague fees, for nothing since I canceled the contract one month before! Trash quality made me say good bye to the company and now they just want to steal every possible dollar.
