The absolute worst delivery service out there. They guarantee “same day delivery” in Dublin, but I’ve waited over two days for my parcel and still haven’t received it. Their phone line doesn’t work so you can’t call them and their support form on the website doesn’t work either, so it’s clear they don’t want to provide any customer service. I emailed as well but haven’t heard back. AVOID THIS SHIPPING COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

I paid for express delivery today and not only the gift wasn't delivered but the driver didn't care to contact me or leave an email. Worst thing was to sit at the map all evening til way over 10pm looking at driver James not moving at all from 6pm till 10pm and then I just told my friend not to expect the gift and I apologized to him for making his hopes up. What a disgusting company and experience :( Such a dissapointment :( So unprofessional and uncaring. One would assume they'd take gifting people seriously especially when they charge extra for delivery. :( Unbelievably destructive experience for me and my friend who never received his gift.

The expected delivery was 6.45-7.45 then it started moving later and later and later and undelivered. Worst unprofessional service in Ireland. Avoid at all cost is an understatement.

Very disappointing service from Xpect Same Day.**
The delivery status is not updated in real time, leaving customers completely in the dark about where their parcels are. There is also **no customer support phone number**, which is unacceptable for a courier company—especially one handling time-sensitive deliveries.
Email responses are **slow and unhelpful**, and there seems to be no urgency at all. My parcel contains **fresh groceries**, yet it has been delayed for **three days** with no clear explanation or accountability. At this point, the items may already be spoiled.
I am still waiting for my order from **The Hopsack**, and this experience has been extremely frustrating. I would not recommend Xpect Same Day for any delivery involving perishable goods or anything time-critical.

Worst courier servise ever seen! Had three deliverys with them in Dublin and all was late (same day or next day in Dublin advertised):
1st- Driver coud not find my addres by Eircode.
2nd- Parcel was left almost on street and I received email about delivery 6 hrs later.
3rd- received my parcel at Thursday after it was received by them at monday. Every day they updated tracking link with silly excuses.

Would not give them even one star but there is no option!

Delivery driver called at 9am and I missed the call and the door and I called him back when I woke up it was a birthday gift in the parcel i explained this to the driver and he was so so helpful he dropped it on his way home from work 10/10 service didn’t have to do this but as I explained it was a birthday present he went out of his way and delivered it just on time for the birthday .

Terrible experience – Not a same-day delivery company as advertised

I placed an order on the 1st of August and only received it today, the 6th of August. Despite paying extra for “same-day delivery”, the package arrived 5 days late and even damaged.

This has nothing to do with the delivery driver — he was polite and professional. The issue is clearly with the company’s false advertising and lack of customer service.

I called their office every day for 4 days, and no one ever answered the phone. If you need reliable delivery, do yourself a favour and choose a different company — UPS, Fastway, or anyone else but Xpect Delivery Same Day.

Honestly, gov.ie should look into this company. Something just doesn’t smell right…

Xpect it to arrived damaged and sent with An Post.

Ordered some paint online which got sent with these guys. They seem to harp on about same day delivery, which may be the case in Dublin, but paint arrived 4 days later (with an post) and the tins were so beat up I’m surprised the paint was still in them.

If you’re a business or seller I’d recommend going with the tried and true couriers like DPD, GLS etc.
