No yearly subscription, which is rare at this level. ECU and key coding still requires a dealer, but that is true of most scanners even 1k+

I wasted $508 INC TAX, in July 2025 on a Youcanic scanner, model YOUCANIC UCAN-II-C PRO.
One strong reason for this was to plan a brake flush on my 2011 Mercedes'.
Now in December 2025 I tried everything to bleed the ABS system of air as per the scanner option.
After multiple emails with Youcanic Customer support who were less than helpful, they told me the scanner can’t bleed my car ABS system.
Their 31 days return window was closed and they told me to sell it on eBay as they would not refund my money.
My recommendation is that if you own a Mercedes do not buy this Youcanic Scanner. And also be wary of their marketing which states things that it cannot do.
I regret buying this.”

So, you can see I’m now upset with the scanner, annoyed at your customer service.

So far it does exactly what I need. The real time data is very useful. I was needing to see what wheel speed sensor was not working and viewing live wheel speed showed which sensor was not working.

Saves trips to the dealer for diagnostics and maintenance that you can do yourself. After careful consideration and research, I chose YOUCANIC and you should to! I called 4 of the big scan tool manufacturers and found the majority were all manufactured in basically the same location. However, YOUCANIC had a significantly different approach to solving malfunctions focused on the end user with how to assistance and minimizing out of pocket cost after purchase. No annual subscriptions, instant access to diagnostic reports, videos, one on one troubleshooting assistance and more. I fixed all the issues with my son’s car in a week after purchase and the cost savings covered the cost of the unit, now each additional is money in the bank. You can spend more for the same functionality so long as you pay associated fees year after year and settle for lackluster performance or you can skip that, get customer support directly from people who just want to help you get back on the road. The best bi direction full system scanner in the market. Better option than Autel, Launch or iCarsoft. Best support in the scan tool industry. I had an issue with the WIFI connectivity with the device upon first use. I called support and went trough a couple rounds to trouble shooting before they sent me a new one without cost to me. Support was quick.

Bought the Youcanic Ucan-II-C to use on various car's, so far I have tested it on a 02 GMC Envoy and an 06 BMW E66.I was able to quickly diagnose and find all issues and do the appropriate repairs and successfully clear the code for each repair. Very pleased with this purchase! The build quality is very durable and should easily last a long while. Good performance for low wait times, I was surprised how quick it completes each task. Also like the support options while connected to wifi for each code that appear, if you need this is handy. Video scope works great and does capture. Wireless OBD is also nice for working under the hood+ live data options. I definitely recommend Youcanic full diagnostic scan tool, Amazing Features and Amazing Support for an Amazing price. The best scanner on the market in terms of price and functionality, the tool is most capable of handling any level job from novice to professional and is supported over a wide range of vehicles. One of the most useful tools I have ever purchased. Youcanic is great company.

I bought the service manual for a 2010 Mercedes GL450. It has been a great car, but I was planning on doing a complete overhaul of the air conditioning system, replacing everything and returning it to new condition after the compressor had a major problem.

This manual was the most useless manual I have ever seen for any vehicle... The manual had virtually no information on what needed to be done to remove the compressor, condenser, Receiver-Dryer, thermostatic expansion valve... It didn't even tell you where they were located! Much less give any information about how to replace them!

The first Mercedes I ever bought was a 1992 Mercedes 400E, and the factory service manual was 2 CD's that had very limited information about anything in that car... I was so angry about spending over $200 for that pile of junk manual!

I am revising my review of this manual because the authors have refunded me the cost of the manual. I didn't do a complete read of the manual since I bought it for only one job. I don't actually have an honest opinion of the entire manual, because I was merely looking for information on a complete overhaul of the air conditioning system. Since I have owned this vehicle for over 10 years and I do all the repair and maintenance work myself, I am very familiar with most of the vehicle. :-)
And the fact that they refunded me the money was an unexpected surprise, and I have to give them kudos for doing that!
Mercedes vehicles are sometimes very difficult to work on, and jobs that are simple on many other vehicles are much more complex when being performed on a Mercedes... So I would recommend this companies manuals for most people going forward... If you buy a manual from them and have a question, I think they will do their best to get you an answer. And that is unusual these days...

If you own a Mercedes S400 Hybrid, don't think to go to Mercedes Dealers, they will simply mass up your Hybrid system during fixing any other issue, and will charge you thousand of dollars for darning your hybrid battery, and will tell you sorry, your hybrid is gone.

Your safe alternative is to ship your car to Yocanic for free diagnoses, and professional fix, recharge or change the hybrid battery, if it is gone with a rebuilt battery with one year warranty, and arrange a ship back for your car as brand new.

I drove my S400 Hybrid 2010 with 37 thousand miles only to Mercedes dealer for minor issues, like Dynamic, massage seats and back seat head rest not working, speed sensor and AC sensor not working, they replaced the 2 sensors, but could not fix the air pressure bump for the seats and head rest, and drained my hybrid battery during the process. they kept jumping the regular battery to start the car, and the only solution they offered is to replace the hybrid battery for $16,000 USD + labor.

I took my car from there after several jump start, and parked after checking the regular battery which was perfect. few hours later the car would not start not even with the jump. So I found Youcanic online, called Rashit and explained to him the situation, we tried to jump start the car so I can drive it from New Jersey to Baltimore to his shop, but the car would not accept the jump. so the final solution was to get a flatbed truck with winch, to pull the car on it and shipped to Yocanic shop, they did check the car and diagnoses it with all the error codes, and find out the hybrid battery was gone. The only make sense decision was to replace it with a rebuilt battery with Yocanic one year warranty, than they start to trace the bump issue for the dynamic seats and head rest on the back seats, and find the bump was fine and we only needed to reconnect some lose hoses at the trunk where the bump is and inside the 2 front seats. all work perfect, and they kept the car for few days after that to check the rebuilt battery is working fine, and I arranged to ship the car back from there.

Final conclusion as the first paragraph above, Youcanic is the only place that I found on the east coast of USA, that can deal on the S400 Hybrid, and without any hesitation, if you have any issue in your Hybrid car related to the hybrid system or anything else, you should call them and arrange to ship or drive your car there. and we should find your review here few days or weeks after that.
