After extensive research, it was my 97 year-old mother who came upon the website for Zipr Mobility. And boy, I'm glad she did! An American made homegrown company with access to human beings that care about your Mobility needs! Pinch me I must be dreaming! I had the pleasure of speaking with a gentleman named Ron. He is a real pro and takes his time to personalize your order. I am confident that, although I live clear across the country from the factory in Washington state, I will have the same level of service as if they were around the corner. Carbon frame electric wheelchairs are pricey. Nevertheless, I appreciate the price point quoted and with free shipping and lots of warranties, I am beyond content. I know my mother will be safe and remain independent with this chair. Thank you, Ron for outstanding service. And thank you Zipr Mobility!
I had a number of questions regarding purchasing the Zipr carbon fiber powered wheelchair. I spoke with Ron who answered all my questions and assisted me in purchasing. The wheelchair arrived quickly and was professionally boxed.
I took a cruise a few weeks later and was thrilled with the ease and performance of my wheelchair, both on land and sea! I had people approaching me with questions re the chair and were greatly impressed that it truly weighed only 28lbs,including the battery.

Ron was very helpful with the whole process of ordering the scooter. I was afraid it wouldn’t be delivered in time for our cruise but he made sure it was. He tracked it himself and gave me updates. This is a great little get up and go wheel chair. It has zip, a very sturdy frame, comfortable to operate and sit in. And light weight, did I mention light weight???? Looking forward to flying with it in the future. Basically it checked off ALL my boxes for what I was looking for!! It arrived exactly when they said it would. So far very happy with my purchase!!
Purchased a Zip'r 3 Xtra Mobility Scooter. Assembled very quickly and easily after viewing their website video. Initial battery charge took about 4 hours. My wife, who is in her 70's, giggled like a schoolgirl while driving this scooter around the house. Scooter is very quiet and smooth in operation. Very highly recommended for those who have difficulty walking.
The company was quick in returning my calls and answered all questions with courteous, knowledgeable expertise. I would highly recommend this company.

WE LIKE OUR ZIP'R. IT HAS GOOD GLIDE. WE LIKE THAT IT HAS AN AUTO BACK UP BELL. IT DOESN'T HAVE A TIGHT ENOUGH TURN FOR IN OUR HOUSE, BUT WE ARE GETTING USED TO USING THE BACK UP. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS EASIER FOR MY HUSBAND TO GET AROUND.
Claims American Family Owned. Instead, Chinese product with AI generated customer service. I wish I could post the entire email chain between me and the company. Utter nonsense!
In short. I purchased a wheelchair for my mother. The batteries were stolen in transit. Customer service (AI) said my problem to deal with the carrier. I said fine, I will purchase 2 more batteries while I'm dealing with the carrier for refund. They sent to obviously used batteries. In the same box, cables hooked up, one would not hold a charge at all. In the 5 minutes the chair ran before dying, I notice the engage/disengage levers were installed backwards (ie the chair only moves when the levers are in a position to remove the service cover). Contacted fake customer service and said I wanted to return for a refund because at this point I'd had enough. returning a product is apparently not in the algorithm. It only wanted to send new batteries and never wanted to discuss the other issue. The coup da grace, the final email from AI ignored all other problems and said that there is a high probability that the employees of the business where I had the chair delivered stole the original batteries. I hate to break it to them, but that is not possible (but that is another too long of a story). In any case this all dragged on and mom was placed in a nursing home and never got a chance to use the wheelchair. I bought 2 Interstate batteries and put in the chair and got it going (It only runs in disengage, which honestly is just annoying but not a huge problem). I will be donating it to a local charity to use as long as it runs. I wish the company was in my state, I would have sued for return but not much else you can do otherwise without a lot of difficulty. Bottom line, buy from someone local who can help you if there's a problem!
Scooter arrived in a timely fashion. That is the only good thing I can say. I charged it overnight and took it out for a drive and the battery indicator kept flashing down to empty after only 5 minutes and then it stopped moving. I tried resetting the battery but it kept doing the same thing. Contacted the company and they sent new batteries (not in the battery box). What a chore that was to get the new batteries in the battery box. Same problem though. Took it for a drive and 5 minutes in stopped moving. Contacted customer service and asked for a refund. No they want me to troubleshoot some more. Arrghhh. HORRIBLE COMPANY
Purchased two of the Zipr Roo 4 scooters for my wife and I on the 6th of May 2025. I immediately found four problems and both scooters had them. Problem #1: The keys they provide are absolutely worthless. I can take a wood dowel the same size as the key, round off one end and insert it where their key goes, push down and Shazam, I am off and running. Problem #2: I could not hear the horns. I, like thousands of seniors wear hearing aids. And NO, mine are not the cheap ones. I get them from the VA and out of pocket they run $10,000.00 a pair. Problem #3: I spent over a month going back and forth with their customer service and they offered no solution to the horn problem other than saying they would have their design department get in touch with me to discuss possible solutions. I am still waiting for their call. Problem #4: I wrote the CEO of Zipr roo about the above issues and he didn't have the common courtisy to respond. I would never even think about buying from this company again.
I would like to rate them as a 0 star but doesn’t allow me. This is the worst company i have ever dealt with. When i received the scooter it had a rip on the seat sent them everything they needed and still over a year they have never replaced the seat. They stated because of covid they didn’t have any in stock and still when i send them a message or call they just ignore me. If anyone buys one from this company you are wasting your money because they don’t offer any help or doesn’t back their product up.
Ordered a battery package for my wife's Mobility scooter and received conformation same day and received the battery pack about 5 days later. installed it and the way my wife went on a ride to the park to meet her girl friends for coffee. She's happy and I am very happy. God Bless.
I placed my order, received confirmation of order received. The next day I received an email saying good news, your order has shipped. Estimated delivery June 9. I stayed home on June 9 awaiting my delivery. Package didn't come by 4 so I called the company. I was told my order could not ship before June 20, despite them sending the email and tracking number. My credit card was charged for a product that did not ship. I was then promised a shipment would go out that night. I am watching the tracking number and there is no movement. My next step is to contact the BBB and the attorney general of my state. I will also be disputing the charge on my credit card.
Very happy with the company and my experience. They are quick to deliver, and provide service when I needed a shroud to be replaced.
