I bought my Stak Varg EX from Xpert…

I bought my Stak Varg EX from Xpert Energy and the experience was honestly very good from start to finish. The team was helpful and answered all my questions before the purchase. You can tell they really know what they are talking about when it comes to electric motorcycles, The bike arrived new, properly prepared and everything was explained clearly. What I appreciated the most was that they didn’t try to rush anything and took the time to go through the details with me, after the purchase they were also available when I had a few questions, which is something you don’t always see these days overall very professional service and a serious company. I would definitely recommend Xpert Energy to anyone looking for an electric motorcycle or service in Portugal

⚠ IMPORTANT WARNING FOR ANYONE NEAR THE COAST — READ BEFORE
BUYING

We purchased a brand new Talaria electric off-road motorcycle for €6,000 from this dealer and company. It had serious assembly issues from delivery, and the electrical system has since failed completely.

When we raised these issues, the company collected the bike for inspection.

Their formal written response told us the electrical failures are due to — their official position — "significant exposure to moisture" and outdoor use near the
coast.

This is an off-road motorcycle. Designed, marketed, and sold for outdoor use.

And their response to a complete electrical failure is that the bike was outside.

For context: this bike was barely ridden — minimal kilometres, a handful of occasions. It was stored outside with a cover, exactly as any motorcycle owner
would. It was never in an accident. Never crashed or abused. A nearly new motorcycle with almost no use, stored responsibly, should not have a burnt
power connector, a failed screen, a seized front bearing, or any of the other failures identified. But according to this company, the problem is that it was
near the coast.

If you live near the coast — in Portugal, Spain, anywhere with sea air — their own written position is that this bike’s electrical system is not built to handle
your environment.

We have now:
✗ Been without a working bike for months
✗ Been offered a repair bill instead of a replacement
✗ Filed formal complaints with ASAE and DECO
✗ Contacted Talaria directly — no response

We did not pay €6,000 for a bike that cannot be used outdoors near the sea. No one should.

We take all customer feedback seriously and are always committed to resolving any situation in a professional and transparent manner.

In this particular case, the motorcycle referenced in this review was collected from the customer on 4 March so that a full technical inspection could be carried out at our workshop. Following this inspection, which was documented with photographs and video, several issues were identified that appear to be related to usage conditions and lack of maintenance after off-road operation.

The overall condition of the motorcycle indicates significant exposure to moisture, dirt and lack of cleaning or maintenance after use. Several components show corrosion and contamination consistent with operation in off-road conditions without subsequent maintenance.

Mechanical and structural findings

Rear license plate support broken
Left brake lever broken
Rear tyre punctured
Front wheel bearings seized
Transmission kit showing rust and contamination with an unidentified yellow grease-like substance
Multiple bolts across the motorcycle showing advanced corrosion

Electrical findings

Motorcycle does not power on through the standard system
When bypassing the current rectifier connection, the motor powers on but the display does not function
Display unit damaged (purple screen)
Power connector to the current rectifier burnt
Electrical connectors showing signs of moisture and corrosion

Missing components

Both mirrors missing from the handlebars

For clarity, the motorcycle delivered to you was a new unit supplied in its original packaging, assembled and tested prior to delivery.

These findings have been shared directly with the customer, and the manufacturer’s representatives have also been included in the review process so that an independent technical assessment can be considered.

Since the very first communication, we have remained available to inspect the motorcycle and work towards a solution. Now that the technical inspection has been completed, we have proposed the next steps to restore the motorcycle to a safe and operational condition.

Because this matter is currently being handled directly with the customer and the manufacturer, it would not be appropriate for us to discuss all technical details publicly. However, we remain fully committed to resolving the situation constructively and in good faith.

Xpert Energy has been operating in the electric off-road sector for more than 8 years and represents several brands in this market. Our priority has always been the safety of our customers and the proper support of the products we sell.
