We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your experience. However, we respectfully refute the suggestion that the service you have received has been "disgusting" or that customers should "avoid us like the plague." We believe this does not fairly reflect the service provided or the way in which your complaint has been handled.
Before purchasing your policy, you completed a scripted and recorded compliance call during which the policy terms, fees and cancellation charges were clearly explained. You confirmed that you understood and accepted these terms before proceeding with the purchase of the policy. All charges applied were in accordance with the terms and conditions that were disclosed and accepted before the policy was purchased.
With regard to your complaint, we can confirm that it was acknowledged within the required five working days, in line with our Complaints Procedure. A copy of this procedure was provided to you and is also available on our website. Your complaint remains under investigation, and we will provide our final response within the timescales set out in our complaints process.
We appreciate that waiting for an update can be frustrating, and if our communication has not met your expectations, we apologise. However, we are following the FCA complaints process to ensure your concerns are investigated fairly and thoroughly.

As an insurance broker, we are required to ensure that all applications meet both the insurer's and the finance provider's eligibility requirements. During our checks, additional information came to light which meant further supporting documentation was required before the finance agreement could proceed.
We contacted you promptly to explain the position and advised what documentation would be needed to continue with your application. Unfortunately, this documentation was not provided, meaning we were unable to proceed with the finance agreement. This decision was not made by XYZ Insurance Services Ltd but was based on the finance provider's lending requirements.

Prior to purchasing your policy, you completed our mandatory scripted and recorded Compliance Call. As part of this process, you were reminded of your duty to provide complete and accurate information and advised that failing to disclose relevant information could result in an additional premium, changes to your policy, or cancellation. You were also informed of your rights as a customer, including the applicable cancellation and non-refundable set-up fees. This information is also included within your Welcome Pack and is available on our website.
Following the insurer's routine validation checks, it became apparent that material information relevant to the policy had not been disclosed when the insurance was arranged. As a result, the insurer advised that revised terms would be required for the policy to continue.
We contacted you promptly to explain the situation and offered you the opportunity to continue your policy. You chose not to proceed, and the policy was subsequently cancelled. The cancellation was not initiated by XYZ Insurance Services Ltd but arose because the required information had not been disclosed before the policy was taken out.
XYZ Insurance Services Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and all fees charged are applied in accordance with both regulatory requirements and our Terms of Business, which were provided before the policy was purchased.
While we appreciate that this outcome may have been disappointing, we respectfully disagree with the suggestion that poor service was provided. We believe we acted fairly, transparently, and in accordance with both regulatory requirements and the insurer's instructions throughout the process.

Avoid at all costs!
Based off of my personal experiece, I think staff were very unhelpful and provided a bad service overall.
When I had joined this insurance firm, I had paid in full for my policy. The next day they have sent me an email of cancellation of my policy with no apparent reason. Only 7 days to respond and to which the only solution they gave was to pay a premium.
When I reached out to the customer service team, I was told that apparently I didn't give the right information they required and I misled them by with holding other claims that I apparently had.
This came as a surprise to me as I didn't know of any other claims, my previous insurer whom I was with for over 10 years, they issued me a statement of fact and my no claims bonus certificate. There were no additional claims noted there.
I declined the accusations and explained to them that I had no idea what the other 2 claims were. Staff was very unhelpful, they expected me to pay the amount and if i wanted to say anything to dispute this unjust price increase they did, they wouldn't let me. Not willing to hear out, only wanted me to pay up. I don't think anyone should ever pay or be framed for something that didn't occur. I have tried to also tell them that as my insurers i expect them to uncover what these claims are for, its fraudulent activity and a big concern for me. I have never with held any information and i got my previous insurer to verify the facts again.
Upon further contact, XYZ Insurance still could not accept any of my documentations. They made the process very difficult and made a lot of accusations towards me.
I still to this day, dont know what the other two claims are about.
When cancelling with them, since there was no intention to resolve (unless i pay up), they made the process still very difficult. This insurance group is better to avoid as they can easily switch up and ask for more money after you join them. They'll lure you in with decent quotes, but only to unnecessary charge you later.
Upon cancelling with them, i still haven't received my refund. This speaks for itself.
Even the cancellation method needs to be examined. They made me write it up MYSELF. In black ink they told me what to write word by word and to sign it below. Not only is this not proffesional at all, but it really made it seem that I was the one cancelling the policy with them, even though they left me with no choice- they wanted to add these other 2 unknown claims to my history.
Moreover, upon my last review, I don't believe XYZ Insurance can disclose my information regarding my claims like they have on their recent response to my review. Any customers claims dates aren't for public use and this is very alerting as it is GDPR. As a firm, you cannot just state customer details in public.
This tells you a lot about what to expect from such a company.
Avoid at all costs!
