Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I've been trying to use them for their loyalty service but I am unable to create an account. They run around in circles and keep closing my ticket. Funny how they are a reviews and loyalty software but cannot manage their own reviews.

I was a bit surprised to see no positive reviews on the first page, in my experience, they aren't that bad. From an ecommerce product reviews perspective, it's been solid for us.
What really made the experience negative was the decision to shut down email and sms marketing. That caused a bit of inconvenience on our side, especially having to find and switch to alternative. I think this could have been handled with a clearer long term strategy. I'll continue using it for product reviews and Im hoping company can now focus more on this core features.

Criminal organization

Criminal organization. We do not want to be subscribed, but its impossible to unsub. And every month they charge an auto upgrade balance, without using the service!!! and its not possible to cancel the automatic charge or the subscription! Like this comment if you think we should proceed a legal case.

Scam enabling business

They give online businesses the ability to hide and remove negative reviews. I have left positive and negative and positive reviews with online businesses using the Yotpo review platform, and the businesses hid them to make their scores look better. Yotpo gets more clients by giving them the ability to scam reviews.

We've worked with Yotpo for two years when we migrated from Klaviyo for SMS/Email marketing. At first things were good, the pricing was solid and the ROI was good. We integrated Rewards and Subscriptions on a decently discounted contract.

After a year, they sunsetted the subscriptions app for no reason and then 6 months later announced they're getting rid of email and sms.

The rug pull destroyed our trust and confidence in the project. It's too bad, they have (had) some great people working there and an edge on the competitors. Bad business choices overall.

Nonexistent account support. Product is fine. Setup was horrendous

The product we're using is great (loyalty program on our own custom coded site). The account support is absolutely atrocious, nearly absent. Chat support always has to get back to you at a later time (no instant support). We've had 4 account managers since we launched our program ~9 mos ago. It seems like their development side is ok but their account support side is nonexistent. Then we finally had a call with our account manager today and he had absolutely nothing prepared to show or talk to us about, even though the call has been scheduled for over 2 months. Basically, you're on your own once the product is installed. Implementation was also a nightmare, took ~6 mos with virtually no structure to the implementation or guidance from Yotpo, just threw a bunch of dev articles at us and would respond to emails a day or days later. Only positive is that it's affordable. But I guess you get what you pay for?

I tried to make a negative review for Bloomsbury Manor which uses Yotpo reviews on Bloomsbury Manor websites in Yotpo. However, I can only make a review by the seller's invitation link by email. So, no one can leaves a negative review as the seller won't invite anyone who complained to them. How possibly this fair????

Greedy Plan Tier Means Not Viable For Small Stores

This company is an official Google partner, yet the Google Store Rating feature is only available on their Professional plan which costs a whopping $169 dollars a month. This is clearly a greedy move designed to funnel more customers into a higher tier out of necessity. If you are a small ecommerce store then Yotpo is not a viable option as you will not be able to increase your Google Store Rating via reviews using the free or starter plan, this means you will show less in organic search results than your competitors who have this feature activated because their store rating can grow higher than yours. Tried asking them to add this feature for me and I was politely told to take a hike. So its on to a new provider for me which sucks because I really liked the integration and features of Yotpo. Greed ruins all all these small SAAS companies as they grow and scale into recognised industry leaders.

They hide negative reviews. I left a negative review for a product on online shop.

I confirmed review via email - but it was never published. The product only has 5 star reviews. Very shady and corrupt.

mi hanno rubato 1800 euro. ho denunciato il loro referente alle forze dell'ordine ma il denaro era volato via in qualche conto chissà dove. sono dei truffatori.
sono rimasta delusa e traumatizzata da sta cosa, perchè sapevano la mia situazione familiare ma non hanno avuto nessuno scrupolo
