Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your experience with us hasn’t met your expectations, and we genuinely wish you the best for the future.

We understand how frustrating the lift being out of service has been for you and your clients. The lift is operated and maintained by the leisure centre as you know. As soon as you raised it, we escalated the issue to the operator’s head office and the centre’s management. We also formally authorised you to deliver sessions at a nearby facility for any clients needing lift access, so the restriction in your licence wouldn’t prevent you from continuing to train them.

Since 2008, we’ve supported thousands of personal trainers across the country to build successful businesses, and we take real pride in the support we provide. That includes one-to-one business support, mentoring and regular contact with our regional team. We’re sorry you didn’t feel that support in the way we’d hope every coach does.

We offered calls with senior management to talk through your concerns, and that offer still stands as you are still operating under a license for a few more weeks.

We’re sorry the interview left you with that impression, although we were disappointed to receive a one-star rating for it. Over 80% of personal training roles in the UK are self-employed, and our PTs run their own independent businesses through a licence with us, supported by mentoring, education and access to our partner gyms. At interview, we’re always clear about what it takes to be successful in a self-employed environment, and we’re proud of the success our PTs achieve. YOUR PT is a highly recognised and reputable brand as such this support tour PTs lead generation endeavours.

Our PTs stay with us longer than most others in the industry, and many have built successful businesses with us over several years. Licence fees reflect each gym’s location and opportunity, and every PT is supported by a dedicated mentor, ongoing education and business support to help them grow.
