Absolutely horrendous!! Placed an order over a week ago and paid £10 for next day delivery and still not received my items !! Customer service is shocking !! Avoid buying from here !!!

Been using YSL skin care and make up for a few years now and have been very happy. Except they withdraw products (specifically forever youth liberator range— I’ve not been able to find the face cream for ages, recently serum and eye cream also unavailable). The replacements I’ve tried I enjoy less (I’ve tried pure shots serum and cream) although still ok. Customer Service has always been good, and delivery fast.
On the negative side I was very upset they made the foundation size 25ml instead of standard 30ml! It looks wrong and feels dishonest. Would prefer for them to just say they are increasing the price!

On November 30th I placed an order for 2 LIBRE EPD 5 ounces because they had a great sale where’d you get 30% off!! I called them December 26 and told them I haven’t received the order and the lady told me they reshipped the order!! In January still no order then told me once again that they order was never shipped out that it was on back order! The lady told me they would honor the price in case they need to do a return it’s now February 21st I called back and found out they only would give me 10% off a new order.... after waiting all these months you would think they would’ve gave me the 30% off but they actually lied!!! Today was the first time I actually spoke to someone apologetic but here apology still didn’t fix the fact that 2 Christmas gift order’s were never fulfilled! They issued a refund but I honestly wouldn’t buy anything off this website again !!

I recently had a very bad shopping experience from ysl beauty online. Actually, I quite like ysl’s products, but this time, the customer service is really disappointed. On Dec 25, I placed the order for two bottles of 90ml Libre parfume as I found the price is very nice. I paid 109.2GBP for two bottles of 90ml Parfume. However they sent me 2 bottle 50ml instead. I started to contact with their customer service after Christmas. Now, it has been near two month, but the customer service doesn’t want admit the mistake they made. During the communication, I provided all the information they want, but finally they still don’t want to refund me the money or send me the extra parfume that is missing. I am very frustrated and disappointed with their cheating behaviour. anybody want to place online order from their website must be very very carefully.

Terrible customer service. My order was shipped and tracking showed 'parcel is being sent back to DPD' with no correspondence from YSL. I called customer service and the only information they could give me is what I'd already read. Then I was told to wait 10-14 days for a refund, from roughly when the parcel was returned (a date which they could not give me).

So I'm in a no man's land now waiting for my refund. There was no apology, no service. Usually I purchase from LookFantastic or another retailer, but now I won't be using any YSL products regardless of where I purchase from. You can't expect a customer to pay premium prices for a premium product and not get a premium service.

Terrible service. Customer services are full of lies...

I bought a mascara expecting it 3-5 days later as described on their website. I called them to find out where it was and they informed me it was out of stock, although I had paid for it. Apparently if you use a credit card they wont charge your account until it is dispatched. I used a debit card and was told this was a bank issue. ??? I had no mascara and a £28 debit for two weeks. I asked for a deadlock letter of complaint and my money was credited back quick enough - albeit 14 days after the original order.

There should have been a warning it was out of stock at the time of purchase. If you buy from this company you may be gambling your money away.

Atrocious Customer Service. Beyond belief. Will never use YSL products again - will stay with Chanel and Lancôme. No stars. Extremely rude and extremely unhelpful.

Unreliable stock system shows items in stock and lets you buy them when they are not.
Inefficient and unhelpful customer service - worst ever, you have been warned.
Tried to scam me by sending freebies instead of £400 items I had ordered. Then told me my items had been delivered. It is vital you keep you packagin slip and take pictures of delivered items if there is anything missing in your order.
If you like YSL - buy from a reputable source.
Avoid this shop.

Really poor and unhelpful customer service. Placed an order so I could receive the gift for spending over £50 aswell as wanting my initial purchase.. I made the purchase on my phone and it did not ask me to input a promotional code. Queried this with customer service. They advised that I would have been asked to put in a code and they can't do anything else to help. Never mind the fact that they can see that I have spent enough to qualify for this and in the timeframe requested. Due to not feeling helped or valued as a customer sending the initial product back as would rather spend the money elsewhere.

I placed a large order on 24th July for £107 for items I needed and I should have received a free bag with samples which I did not get. When I contacted customer service the assistant was adamant that I did not qualify for the gift as I did not put in a code. I am disgusted that I did not get the gift and as a new customer I think as due to an alleged not putting in a code that as a gesture of goodwill and to keep me as a customer they would send me the gift.
I certainly won’t be ordering from YSL again as I feel it is an excuse to entice people to spend money then they make excuses not to send the advertised free gift.
Don’t be taken in by enticements to spend money. You would be better of going to another retailer selling YSL.

Honestly appalled with their customer service.

I ordered a perfume for my daughter's 21st birthday as a surprise as she has been wanting this perfume for years. I got it engraved to say 'Alicia 21' on the bottle. However, when she opened it on her birthday, the bottle was engraved 'MUM'. One, she isn't a Mum, and two, I lost my Mum 20 years ago, so why would I order that?

The customer service is terrible, incoherent and contradicting. It wasn't sincere, due to the fault being on their behalf, nor was it helpful. I have tried to contact them again, but not getting any response. Although I do understand the current situation with COVID, it has been a long process that still isn't sorted when I ordered it on the 26th June and emailed them on the 3rd of July.

Appalling service, communication and timeliness.
Placed an order early on a Wednesday afternoon, paid £6.50 extra for next day delivery. Just missed the time window for a Thursday delivery, but should have got it Friday, no problem.
Didn't get confirmation that the order had been received until Thursday evening. Needless to say it didn't turn up before the weekend.
Contacted them the following Tuesday after it still hadn't arrived.
Got an email Friday evening(!) saying they need confirmation of name, address, etc, which I then supplied.
Monday afternoon, I get a robotic stock email outlining the returns process, to which I respond, explaining I don't want to return the item - I still want it, but I haven't received it yet.
No further communication from them, then I get a Paypal email notifying me I have received a refund, so they clearly didn't even read the email, or simply couldn't be bothered to deal with me anymore.
2 whole weeks wasted, only to never receive the item which was intended as a birthday gift 5 days after the order was placed.

It's a shame 0 stars isn't an option.

Ordered 2 items 2 weeks ago, only received one.
called ‘Customer Services’ who fobbed me off by telling me they will raise an investigation.
7 phone calls later, still told the same thing.
Received a call this morning, from who I don’t know as you can’t speak to a manager so lord knows who runs the muppets working here to be told I would be sent a cheque as they don’t have the facility to refund.
I won’t be letting this go, this company is a joke!!!!

I do not recommend using the YSL beauty website to order. Sad to say something as big as YSL has let me down, part of my order was missing, i was told it was scanned in and they are going to investigate, i had to call 3 times and email 8 times to chase up what was going on. After over a month when i told them it was unacceptable as it was a Christmas gift, they told me you will be getting a refund as the item is no longer in stock. To top it off the email i was given to put my complaint through on, no one ever replied. Terrible. Never seen anything like it.

Do not use the website! Terrible terrible service online, they sent the wrong product and have no returns procedure apart from asking the customer to return the wrong item as their own cost, no suggestion that they should provide the right item or acknowledge something that was completely their mistake. I've contacted my bank and they are going to reverse the charge.

It seems they are another bunch of scammers. There was an offer on discounted parfume, so I decided to buy one for my wife. I paid via PayPal. Everything seemed going smoothly, but then after some while I realized that I still haven't received my order. I checked my online account and noticed that the price of parfume I purchased was significantly increased. I contacted them to get some update. And then they started to blame me, like my bank card is issued by foreign bank (which is utter rubbish), I have 'wrong' PayPal account, wrong address, my nose is wrongly shaped. They categorically refused to cancel the PayPal transaction, still blaming me and making me to sort the mess they have made. Great experience! I would never ever deal with them again. Bunch of liars and cheaters! If I could I would rate them with minus 5 stars.
