I was totally new to the russian language. Yulia's course is very nicely structured...the interactive ways to learn..quiz, flashcards, speaking tasks, worksheets...there is so much material that is very insightful.
I can now write in cursive, speak (very little but with confidence), read slowly. The hardest part was to learn and remember plurals, cases, and tenses. But I can understand that Russian language is a bit complicated when it comes to grammar and i look forward to future courses by yulia,

In the Easy Russian with Yula course, everything is perfectly organized and structured, which I find very important for learning a language.
You can use their own app, which is very convenient. The teacher is excellent and explains things in a way that's easy to understand. Her videos are very comprehensive and help you understand better. You can tell a lot of work went into making them. There are many exercises and quizzes to practice and reinforce what you've learned. The teacher is always there to help if you have any questions. Truly, her way of explaining, how well-designed the course is, and how intuitive it is, motivate you to want to keep learning.

Yula’s Russian learning app is one of the best language programs I’ve ever tried. Her teaching method is incredibly effective and, surprisingly, very fun! I have found this course to be engaging, lessons are fun and memorable from Yulas antics, good course material build on each other so one is not overwhelmed. The youtube video shows over 9 hours but this does not detail the necessary course material quizzes, feedback and exercise material.

In the last couple of decades I tried to learn several languages. And I more often failed than succeded. I would be the first guy to admit that maybe I am just not too talended in learing languages, but to be honest I often felt that it is not entirely my mistake when I am not able to learn this or that languages. I often saw that language teachers have talent to learn languages but not to teach languages - so they can't understant that 'normal' people can't learn effectively from their often photocopied sheets of paper or in case of any other inconsistency. Then I found Yula, tried her app and it was shocking for me that learning languages could be fun! So Yula is totally different. I try to collect why:
- She has a great platform (app), which made according to logic and works well.
- There is consistency, the material build up according to common sense.
- Probably because she is not just a teacher but a language learner as well, she learnt 4 different languages, probably that's why she has practical knowledge about what method is effective, how much practice is ideal, and more importantly, how to motivete that learner. How to think with the mind of a learner.
- She does not advertise any magical, unique, secret, ... method. She has just built up her material by using already known methods and she combines them properly, eg.: flashcards. There are a lot of different type of tasks, not boring at all.
- And maybe the most important is that she is cute, and very enthusiastic, thus motivating. I have never met her personally, so I don't know if she really happy when I pass a small test, but she can make me belive via her online surface that she is really happy for my success.
- Her app often makes you to repeate, practice already learnt words, grammar. Generally this is a boring part of language learning. But she does it on a way, that you don't even reallize that you do it.
- You have to pay for it, but the monthly fee costs much lower than a typical fee would be in case of a language class or regular lessons from a private teacher. Much lower, and (at least for me) much more effective.
