The app works well gives the information I need. The support staff are excellent too.

I used the Zapmap app to start a slow overnight charge at my hotel. Nice and easy to use. I could also monitor the progress and payment was seamless. Highly recommended for public charging.

Was on a tour around North Scotland and used my Zapmap card at all my charge up places… so much easier than apps or carrying different RFID cards.

Zapmap is the only app I use when planning a journey in my EV. It's easy to use and navigate and, even though we don't do many longer journeys, it's all I need to do the planning.

Great APP , easy to use and understand. Very helpful and gives updates and up to date information. The use of a pre payment card also very helpful

Was unable to stop charging at Tesco's in Newmarket 19th April 2026 using the App. Had to contact Pod Point customer services (phone number is on the charger) to remotely stop the charging.

Fast and friendly response from customer service resolved my problem with the app quickly, thanks!

I had a good experience

My go to app for planning EV trips. I do 3-5 longer motorway trips per year in an older EV with around 170 mile range and Zapmap is essential for plan A and plan B rapid chargers en route and also destination slower chargers when making trips around my accommodation.

Excellent customer service. The application has loads of info in it. Takes a bit of time to get it all set up to your personal preferences but then... wow... live updates, no more arriving to find the unit faulty. Provides price, directions and ability to pay. The premium service is great value for money too.

Pretty frustrating experience using the same lamppost EV charger two different ways.

First time I used the QR code and paid directly through Shell Recharge / Ubitricity. They immediately put a £40 hold on my card (just a hold, not the final cost), and after about 6 hours charging to ~80%, the actual charge came out to around £13–£14.

A week later I tried the exact same charger using Zapmap, expecting it to be similar. Same location, almost identical charging time — but this time it cost me £22.

And that’s with me stopping the charge — it would’ve cost even more if I’d left it running.

That’s a big price jump for no real difference in usage. Same charger, same time, but nearly £9 more just for going through a third-party app.

Charger itself works fine, but I’ll definitely be sticking with Shell / Ubitricity direct from now on.

Had an issue with the E-Mail address on my Zapmap account which was undoubtedly my own mistake. However, I asked for a little help from Zapmap customer support and the issue was fixed pretty much immediately. Good quality service from their customer support team. Thanks to Eleonora Nikolai’s for resolving the issue.

Quick and correct response!” I had to cancel for health reasons and instead of an argument I got an accurate response within a few hours . And everything worked as promised!

Great app being using it for last 7 years, shame you can’t submit new chargers that you find like back in the bad old days!

I had an issue with a transaction on my bank account. I emailed the customer services department who responded within a couple of hours and the matter was resolved the next day. The service was excellent and the explanation given was clear and very comprehensive. Thank you to those involved.

I have many EV charging apps on my phone but the one I use all the time is Zapmap. The mapping and searching finds suitable chargers and the chat is allways very useful to find out if the chargers are working and pick up any tips.

Zap Map is excellent. I always use it before a trip somewhere to identify conviently located chargers and check user feedback on reliability etc. On a recent trip to Carlisle I found there were 7kw chargers in a car park 5 minutes walk from my hotel and the parking was even cheaper than the hotel’s. Easy to filter by network and/or charger power. It’s a great app .

Zapmap was my go to app to find charging places while I was travelling around in my EV. It always seemed to be easy to use and pretty accurate.

Even after 10 years of owning a electric vehicle Zap Map is still tops in my opinion.
It is very informative on the different sites, which must be difficult to keep up with.
Here`s to the next 10 years, keep up the good work.
