A great company! Helpful, prompt and efficient!

We booked a taxi service recently for our son's wedding. We used Zedcarz for the first time and were a little apprehensive. However, the service received was efficient, prompt and courteous. We also had to book a last minute addition to the service which was efficiently dealt with. Will be using Zedcarz from now on and will recommend them to others!

Excellent servicr

I was travelling on Thursday, April 9th. Trains weren’t running from Kingston Station in the afternoon, so I rang Zed Carz as we have used them before, they promptly sent a driver to collect me and made it on time to the airport.
The car was very clean as they always are and the price was fair. Thank you.

Reliable car service

Good car service, reliable pick up and airport collection and the app is bonus when abroad. However the 10% discount code which should have worked for 5 trips only worked once and then I had to pay full price. I’ve also been a loyal client for many years and still get no small discounts, so that’s disappointing. Especially when paying £67 to Gatwick!

Great communication

Great communication. Timely. Competitive. First class. I obtained a quote online to travel from my son's home in Weybridge to Heathrow T2. Wuick and helpful response. After booking the redponse was again speedy and comprehensive. On the day our driver was a few minutes early but messsged to confirm his whereabouts and happy to wait. Seamless journey. Beautifully clean car. Careful driving. Charming driver, (just a shame he supports Man Utd! )
Very pleased with every aspect of the service. Thoroughly recommended.

Very comfortable ride with friendly driver

Very comfortable and clean luxurious car (BMW 740 AMG). Driver very polite and extremely friendly. Great relaxing experience before a busy day of international travel.

Overcharged again!

After issues previously, recently decided to give Zedcars another go but never again. Flight was due to land at 17.25 so agreed when booking to allow 30mins after landing. Plane was early and we hoped the driver would come early but didn’t receive anything to say the driver was coming or arrived. Went to M&S like told to and no driver that we could see so bought a few things (receipt states it’s 17.35 but this time) then checked again and still couldn’t find anyone waiting for us so went and sat down. At this point I selected the update button in the WhatsApp message but nothing came through so decided to call just in case the driver was waiting to come and park for the 17.55 pick up we’d received the confirmation for. The booking office advised he had arrived so went back to M&S and found him. This was only about 5 mins after we’d been in the shop. Asked driver if he’d been waiting long and he said he’d arrived in the car park at 17.25 so had now been 15mins. When I go to pay after being dropped off, we were charged an extra fee for the driver waiting longer than 30mins. I showed the driver our confirmation for pick up and that we hadn’t received anything else to say he had arrived or was coming early and even he had said he had only arrived 15 mins before but he wouldn’t do anything about it and said we had to call the office. I did that and was told we’d been charged for an extra 11min wait which I contested as per the above. It’s not a lot of money but more the principle of yet again being charged incorrectly by a driver and them taking no responsibility. The last time we were overcharged the office said we’d get the extra charge discounted from our next journey but after trying to redeem it twice, they conveniently had no record of it so not holding my breathe they will do the right thing this time either. We should have not bothered going back, we won’t be making that mistake again!

In regards to the reply by Zedcars, we haven’t been offered a refund. I received an email in regards to the complaint stating the timings they were working to to justify the extra charge and they stated that contact wasn’t made to advise the driver had arrived as sometimes people have network issues. I have supplied evidence to support the timings provided are wrong and that the driver was not there when they said he was as well as other information proving we were at M&S when the driver should have been there and that the time they state we met the driver is incorrect. I also confirmed I had no network issues by providing screen prints of the request for updates I made plus the call I made to them. There has been no reply to my email from Zedcars

As this matter involves a refund, it needed to be handled by our Accounts Department, which operates Monday to Friday. Your complaint was logged as soon as you raised it on Saturday, and you were advised that the team would follow up on Monday. My colleague did call yesterday, and you advised him that you would call back — we completely understand if you weren’t able to do so at the time.

Please be assured that we value all our customers and complete hundreds of airport transfers every week. Overcharging is never intentional — if it were, we would not have earned the trust and loyalty of so many over the years. Occasionally, technical issues or miscommunications can happen, and when they do, we always investigate thoroughly and fairly.

We genuinely care about our customers, and we would be very grateful for the opportunity to speak with you directly to clarify and resolve this matter. You are always welcome to call us on 020 8330 3300, and we will also be responding to your latest email this morning.

Unreliable and rude…

Had a really negative experience yesterday with this company. Was quoted ten mins arrival time to take myself and two very young children to a birthday party. The car finally arrived 30 mins later. I called to check on the drivers arrival and was told he was 2 mins away so took my kids outside in the pouring rain to end up waiting another 15mins. When the driver pulled up he was eating from a take out bag. I asked him why he was so late and he just said maybe they’d changed the driver. Which is unlikely given they were tracking his car. He didn’t apologise or offer to help us into the car with our multiple bags, toddler in my arms and other child needing a car seat fitting. The driver was unpleasant throughout the trip. We arrived 45 mins after the event starting, missing the entirety of the activity we had gone for. Such a shame as I prefer to support local firms as opposed to Uber but unfortunately I cant recommend using this company.
