The team at Zen have been so helpful and supportive in my start up as a pharmacist. I really appreciate the work they have put in. I would and have been recommending them to all pharmacists I know.

What made my experience great was that…

What made my experience great was that the memeber of staff assigned to me is always trying her best to cater to my needs. She always ask for feedback before thinking about the next steps for me and she always gives me realistic advice with which I can work with. Compared to other agency sites that I have used Zen Locum has been the most proactive in helping me on my journey and making sure I am good to go. I also appreciate the fact that if I am booked for 3 weeks solid (for example), She always gives me a call inbetween to make sure I am okay and that the environment I am in is still a good environment for me. She always encourages me to communicate clearly with her about what went right and what went wrong so that she can plan the next steps for me appropriately.

On the email side of things, for example, when I have a query about late payment for my shifts, I also experience prompt and good service from the Zen Locum support team. They support team always responds to my email queries in a timely manner and they make sure to chase my payment up with the pharmacies. This is a major difference for me compared to other locum websites that I have used in the past who tell me they will chase the pharmacy for my payment but provide no result.

I would most definitely recommend Zen Locum all round, and especially if you are just starting off as a locum because you will get the support you need, you don't have to think about anything else but the shift you've been booked in for.

Been signing up with Zen Locum since…

Been signing up with Zen Locum since April but still haven't gotten any shifts, made me make an account, and apply for DBS and insurance, but they have keep advertising jobs on Indeed but nothing there. I felt let down and wasted my time, wouldn't recommend it.

Our requirements are guided by industry standards for self-employed healthcare professionals, and we understand these can be rigorous. In terms of the shifts available, we do traditionally see lower demand for ACTs in your area that match the preferences you’ve set on the app.

Locum cancelled shift at 5pm the day…

Locum cancelled shift at 5pm the day before. I was notified by email but company admits that I should have been called given the short notice. Didn't even get a phonecall first thing the next day so I could at least be informed and try to plan workload. Very poor service and will think twice before relying on this agency again.
