12 Panels & Battery On New Garage
The communication from the start was easy. Initial contact was with Sharon and subsequently Jaclyn the project co-ordinator. My only criticism here is that the system Sharon was using to calculate projections did not show the newly built garage that the system was to be installed on even though it is already shown on google maps. Sharon could only use a west facing house roof but as the installation is on a south facing roof we expect to outperform the calculations provided. I had done most of my research before contact with Zero-Carbon, so didn't have too many questions. The cost of the system seemed very competitive.
The site survey was carried out by Gerard and his enthusiasm was clear to see. The installation was straightforward as it was installed on and in a new build garage which had ducting and cabling already installed with solar in mind. The panels only took about 2 hours to fit. The electrical work took about the same time. All work was clean and tidy.
The system is generating and feeding the grid at the moment as we have not yet moved in. I have every confidence in the system and will consider extending it as we have room for more panels and batteries.
If you have long term savings that are not giving a great return (and taxed) consider buying a solar system with battery storage. You will probably get a better return on your capital.
I can recommend Zero-Carbon.

You are absolutely correct regarding the projection modelling during the initial consultation stage. Unfortunately, some third-party satellite modelling platforms can occasionally lag behind newer developments or recently constructed buildings, which was the case with your new garage at that stage of the process.
Following the technical survey, however, a separate internal 3D model of the garage roof was created by the Zero Carbon team to ensure the system design and performance expectations aligned correctly with the true south-facing orientation. We’ll happily supply this modelling to you for your records as well.
It was also great to work on a project where the garage had already been designed with solar in mind, as this allowed for a particularly clean and efficient installation process.

Essentially faultless from start to finish. The process can be quite daunting, with some many companies and contractors out there (they all have very high standards and top notch qualifications). Zero Carbon stood out just a little bit more, in terms of competence and transparency in the planning phase; plus, they feature a best price guarantee which meant that we were able to get the best deal with the best equipment. A few minor hiccups and setbacks but the installation was still done very fast. Everything is working perfectly so far.

Very good service from Gerry and his crew . System has been working for over a month and already I have seen a difference in my electric bill . Hardly use any imported electricity through the day and I am exporting to the grid . Installation was carried out professionally .

First class installation
Pre. signing support from Gerry regarding various questions was excellent. Signed up for installation 5th December and installation started 16th and finished on 20th. I went on holiday 22nd and when I returned on 29th the scaffolding had already been removed. At every stage each of the work groups (Scaffolding, Roofer and Electricians) kept me informed regarding when they would arrive and always arrived when they said.
A few minor bits still to finish (due to Duracell support not responding quick enough) but everything has been a breeze.
The whole team at Zero-Carbon were 5 star, from Gerry the director who came and talked me through the quote, Jaclyn who kept me up to date with progress and the Scaffolding, Roofing and Electricians who attended.

Zero Carbon a company to trust
I chose Zero Carbon due to customer feedback and the awards it received. I did my homework prior to making contact so pretty much had a base knowledge of what I was looking for. Email sent on Sunday late afternoon, call received on the Monday morning. A date/time to suit myself was booked. Gerry arrived and I found him to be honest and gave great advice. Needless to say I went ahead and booked. (10× Solar Panels, Duracell Inverter and Battery along with a Duracell EV Charger). Was contacted a short time later by the project manager who facilitated everything. The timeline for the solar panels being fitted until it was up and fully operational was only a couple of days. Extremely impressed with the workmanship of both Iain and Abbie who fitted all the electrical components and routed all the cabling. The project manager was efficient and obliging with any queries I had and was extremely attentive. The only disappointment was, that I didn't get to say a huge thanks to the guys who installed the solar panels as they left a great finish. The hardware is outstanding too. So pleased I went for Duracell. From start to finish I've only positive things to say about this company, from its owner Gerry, and all interactions with its employees, to the very competitive pricing.

Great service and quick installation
Great service and quick installation. Placed the order and the equipment was installed within days. It was commissioned and tested and a follow up visit was carried out 2 weeks later by an independent contractor. So far the equipment has surpassed my expectations. I had solar panels, inverter and batteries installed, as well as a device fitted to my boiler / radiator system which is advertised as saving up to 40% on gas consumption. So far, overall, I’m extremely happy with the results. Would highly recommend Zero carbon to carry out the works. It was a neat installation and well coordinated.

Outstanding service and high quality installation
I had spent some time looking at various solar providers, trying to filter out the wheat from the chaff. I had done some research already into what the options were for my house. I was contacted by Zero Carbon, following an online enquiry, which led to a visit and assessment of my property. I was given proposals and costs for solar panels and batteries and also an additional device which will reduce my gas consumption by 30%, at a small additional cost. I agreed with the package and arranged installation within a few days. The installation was completed in 1 day which included the installation of 16 solar panels, inverter, 15kw batteries and the units for the Gas combi Boiler. It was all tested and set up and connected to the cloud by the end of the day. The after sales service is excellent and they answer any enquiries quickly and efficiently. It has been a very smooth process with immediate gains. Would highly recommend this local company.

Job well done
The service from start to completion was as it should be. Effortless communications even when I asked somewhat more technical questions. When I surpassed the knowledge of the sales team I was effortlessly and without hesitation passed to the boss who answered all my questions in detail. Then the installation was completed by the fitter all without fuss and where I wanted it. Obviously I can’t attest as to its longevity yet but so far so very good.

Excellent interface from beginning to end.I met with them looking to be convinced solar panels would work on my property as I had previously been told they weren’t viable. My older property gave the installation team a few challenges on the day but nothing could put them off. I watch the app. constantly to see what I am saving. Great product.

Bespoke system, exceptional service
We went for a bespoke ground mounted system and from concept to completion the whole team were knowledgeable, committed and very supportive.
Installation was quick, clean and time was taken to explain all aspects of the work. The after sales service has been exceptional our electricity consumption from the grid fallen dramatically.

This company was efficient and competitive. They were easy to make contact with and kept us informed at every step in the process which was carried out in under two weeks from placing the order. A detailed proposal was submitted prior to making any commitment with a description of System Performance Estimate, Environmental Benefits and how the system would work. A finical impact and detail of the equipment to be installed was very helpful in making a decision.
