I have no Microsoft products other than the operating system. This product moved a good size MySQL database, home grown java programs, NetBeans, SQL Developer, Open Office, MoneyDance, TextPad, Thunderbird and Firefox effortlessly in under 3 hours. I did not even have to re-enter any licenses. Only issue was that I had to get a new driver for the scanner for my HP All-In-One printer. It is worth the extra cost!

like all internet sites, any business big or small, can "Big" themselves up. With careful wording etc all small business can purport to be the size of Apple or McDonalds. I read all of the reviews carefully especially against one of their competitors and made the decision to jump in with Zinstall and see how it all went.
I read the instructions and started the transfer. It all went very well and the only issue I had was that I have bought a bespoke PC from a well know supplier who did not update Windows 11, which I was not aware of. That stopped some of the files transferring but once the update had of completed the Zinstall product picked up from where it had left it and transferred the lot. It must be said that it was far easier to do than I ever imagined. This software does exactly what it said in the advert. my new computer looks and feels exactly like the old one and as far as I can tell all of the files have transferred over with any hassles
Previous transfers have always missed bits off and lost files. So far I am struggling to find anything missing
I would definitely use this system again in years to come. If there were 6 stars I would tick them

I was using Zinstall over Wi-Fi and the power went out due to high winds. The result was the new computer being an absolute mess. I sent Zinstall a message about this and then, because I am impatient, I tried another cheaper program and it didn't help at all. Zinstall responded back quickly, upgraded me free of charge to the external hard drive image process, and that worked beautifully!!! What an awesome company and product!

I researched their service and decided to give them a try because of the recommendations of others. I was not disappointed at all! They answered all my questions before my purchase, kept me fully informed after the purchase and transferred all my files and applications, perfectly.
I would unequivocally recommend them. You won't be disappointed.

I purchased zinstall winwin to facilitate the transfer of 'everything' from an HP win11 laptop to an HP win11 laptop. I have done this in the past using backup and other utilities which usually took several days to accomplish. Due to prior experience with software advertising I was wary of zinstall's claims. I am pleased to say that their ad was spot on. This is an EXCELLENT product and well worth the money. The transfer was done over my home network, went without problems and was complete in a little over 4 hours. There were NO issues to take care of and everything was as it should be. Restarted the new laptop and went to work. Good Job ZINSTALL.

What is your time worth... $10hr, $20, $30....etc? How many hours would it take you to load a new computer with all your files, programs, apps, SW, contacts, favorites and even screen setups.... 5 hours, 10 hours or lasting over into days? I too was weighting the cost/benefits of buying Zinstall versus lower cost alternatives, but I'm glad I bought Zinstall. It was simple, seamless and precisely thorough. It tirelessly (Zinstall, not me!) ran for 7 hours overnight without any interjection required by me. Surprise, surprise, in the morning I had a mirror image of my old laptop on a new laptop, ready to use... and I didnt break a sweat! That's called a positive ROI! David, Haddonfield NJ

I think it's a very interesting, useful tool for when you get a new pc. it has saved me much time in the setup and installation process.
Data transfer was fast and simple, it went through by itself and i did not have to do anything.
Then I restarted the new computer as it instructed, and it was just like my old computer in every way, except different icon arrangement because monitor size is different.
So I am quite pleased with the process and the results.

Yes...I had to chat in to resolve some things but this is the BEST product, service and support I have ever experienced. Paul and Jim were amazing, patient and knowledgeable and walked me through it. If you need this you should buy it. They will fix it.
I was unable to recover my passwords but that is a me problem...not the product.

For the price I expected a "seamless" installation. I had a hard drive that was degrading so I used zinstall to back up to an external hard drive, pulled the old drive out and installed a new one.
I paid $169 for zinstall migration pro. The interface was clumsy and difficult to understand. I tried to restore from the external hard drive but it could not find any files. I ended up using a SATA/USB adapter to reinstall.

Once up and running a number of softwares did not work. I have spent almost a full day trying to get the new drive back to how it should work.

My life revolves around the data on my computer. I have THOUSANDS of files and dozens of programs very complex. (I publish the MARKREPORTs that’s decades of work. And I also have tons of legal documents, very complex stuff. Transferring data to a new computer for me is a big deal. If you’re like me, DON’T DO IT YOURSELF. Pay the extra money and HAVE THEM COME INTO YOUR COMPUTER AND DO IT FOR YOU.
I tried it myself, and no good for handling such a big job. Having them do it is the answer to getting it done right. Paul came into my computer and spent hours getting it right. Then I contacted them a couple more times to work on this or that whenever he came in and fixed it. Everything has been transferred over perfectly AN AMAZING JOB. If you’re wondering what company to go with, YOU FOUND IT. By the way, I’ve only written about three reviews in my life.

What you say you can do is what you actually 'do' do but it is the 'way; you do it that really counts. I easily get lost with computers but the Zinstall staff were incredibly patient and kind and would not give up on me, even though I often did not really know what I was doing. We finished the job together and I was never left to struggle. Well done. You are a credit to your profession.

Dont believe the hype - ITS EVEN BETTER THAN THEY SAY...
I used Zinstall WinWin to migrate a existing win10 machine with word and quicken over to a new win11 machine and in three hours it moved the 125GB of DATA and PROGRAMS and SETTINGS....everything worked on the new machine in Win11. It was well worth the money and so easy compared to other "solutions"that only move "some" of your data but never programs. This was a real lifesaver

It is a great application that helped me a lot in my transfer to new computer.
I had to transfer a lot of files to it, and also many applications that I use for my work.
Zinstall did a great job, and I think 98% of everything worked great. There was only the antivirus to install later, as Zinstall told me would happen, so it was not a surprise.
I think it is a very good product and will use it again.

I was able to transfer my files, but I am having issues due to the refurbished laptop I transferred my files to not working. I have tried to contact Zinstall to find out whether I can reuse the transfer purchase on a different laptop if I can document that the first one was defective (unknown to me at the time), but they aren't responding to my chats or emails. I tried calling their customer service and after a brief hold the message says "for faster service, email us at ..." Also I had questions during the transfer and was unable to reach customer service by phone then either. The software works, but they are obviously not able to handle their customer's needs when we have questions (and who doesn't have questions when setting up a new computer?) Very disappointing after all the rave reviews this company has received, and after paying them $130.00.

I had some trouble transferring my data because of slow WIFI speed at the first location. The following day, at a better location, I then had trouble getting one computer to recognize the other. I contacted Zinstall rep through their link and they directed me how to resolve the issue. Their patience and help to teach this ''old dog'' new tricks is greatly appreciated. Their customer service Rep--Joe--was above and beyond any assistance I've had from other firms. Thank you.

My older computer was damaged, I had to be very careful not to move it or it wouldn’t work. I knew I didn’t have a lot of time to get a new computer and try to transfer everything I had on my old computer to my new computer. I have no knowledge about computers or computer language. I looked at all transfer options online for a week. Zinstall said it would transfer everything, even my Office 2019. I did decide to go with Zinstall installing the software and have them do the installation, since I really had no idea how I would that. The extra money it costs for Zinstall to install everything is so worth it!! The service was fantastic, I couldn’t be happier!

I not computer savvy. When I needed to upgrade my dying computer I was fearful of the whole process of moving data from my old computer to a new one. I had had a number of bad experiences with services who after trying to fix my computer problems left it in worse shape than before. Literally I put it off for 3 months with the new computer just sitting in the box. I finally did some research on the internet and was impressed with the service Zinstall proposed to offer: moving EVERYTHING from the old computer to the new one, not just data but programs, passwords, etc. I bought the initial package but when I began to read the instructions about closing firewalls, etc I realized I was in over my head until I saw that I could pay extra to have a Zinstall technician do the whole process for me. I made a couple of chat calls to make sure this service was for real and took a chance and ordered it. I was impressed with the chat people and the time they took in answering my questions. I made the service appt. Paul L. was the assigned technician. With fingers crossed, I watched the migration happen in front of my eyes with Paul answering my questions through chat during the process. When finished, I had problems opening files. I sent an email to Paul who promptly responded and set up a time to correct the situation which he did. Important note: I was not passed off to someone else who wouldn't be familiar with my situation. Paul was my technician from start to finish. I am so impressed with Paul and Zinstall. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Paul was competent, professional, friendly, understanding of my apprehensions. I was amazed at the time he took to make sure I knew what was going on, answering my questions, reassuring me that if anything didn't work correctly it would be fixed (and it was). When we had the appt. to correct the file problem it was with a phone call rather than with a chat which at my age talking with him was much easier than trying to write chats to explain my problem. I am so impressed that what Zinstall promised was what I received. I can't give Zinstall and Paul enough praise.

I dreaded getting a new PC as I anticipated a nightmare trying to transfer everything from the old PC.
Zinstall made the process painless. The download instructions were easy to follow and everything transferred in a few hours.
I had one small issue with the transfer of Office/Outlook -one email from their tech support team quickly solved the issue.
For someone who is not tech savvy, this product was worth every penny.

Thankfully, I found this company before I started to reinstall all the programs and files from my old to new computer the old fashioned way (copy and paste or re-install, etc.). In a chat session before purchase, I asked why there service was more expensive than others - the response was "it's like asking why a Porsche is more expensive than a Ford" and after working with them, I now understand.
I also opted for the optional support - where one of their people accessed both my old and new computers and completed the entire transfer process for me. (I strongly urge this option as the entire transfer process will be done for you.)
The transfer went spectacularly well. ALL of my files (except security software - as they had warned) were transferred in entirety. ALL of my programs were included - this saved hours and hours of reinstalling software and more importantly, programs for which I no longer have any reinstallation media were included.
I strongly recommend this company, their people and their service.

This is a very user-friendly software. It doesn't interfere with your pc's other operations. It is easy to restore any files you selected to backup...Great support which has knowledgeable personnel. Swift response back.
I highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a good backup.
