Where do I start !!! Absolutely DANGEROUS practices.

2 teams arrived nice and early. Great I thought. However the team doing the vents spent more time looking at the fish in my pond rather than doing much work, one of them spent so much time on the phone on a video call to his "partner" taking pictures pictures of my pond and of my house. I did ask him a number of times if he was actually going to do any work. Ironically they did not seem to understand that there are cameras indoors and outside recording everything.
They put a vent into the kitchen and left a thick layer of dust everywhere. They put the vent in the bathroom ceiling only to leave 2 live wires connected by some insulation tape only. No protection box or anything. Most of the outer sheath was removed too meaning that the unit was NOT double insulated either. The scrap bits from the ceiling was just left in the bath. The bathroom fan is actually live fed from the light so only works when the light is switched on. This should be on all the time.
They then moved on to cutting my windows to install trickle vents. Well they tried the first window by drilling a hole to find it was steel reinforced so he just put lots of silicone in the hole and looks horrendous. The plastic dust is everywhere, window sills , floor, curtains. They even left the bits they cut out on the porch roof despite them being easy to reach. They are such a shoddy group of fitters.

Part2 - The Plumbing team
The boiler was a little better although the plumbers knew how to fit stuff and the older plumber obviously had some experience as he was "gas Safe" but not electrically safe. He put the mains wire for the boiler over a double gang socket !! which he blanked off but not sealed. The wire was pinched so hard that it meant the edge of the cover was about 10 mm off from the wall and to make things worse he put about an inch wide conduit between this and an isolation box on the wall. When removing the back boiler he allowed so much water to flood the carpet that when you stood on the carpet the water soaked up to your feet and left foot prints in the carpet. Its still wet even now. The water just kept coming. The fire and all the non money making parts were broken and were left thrown in the front garden but the old pipework and copper tank they took away with them. !! Its not even theirs. The pipes from the boiler through the wall are not sheathed either but were cemented into place. The boiler does not even fit flush to the wall either. The boiler is very noisy when draining and it sounds like a bath emptying.
They left all the old boxes and stuff too. An absolute joke.
The company i went through was these guys who when i complained told me it was nothing to do with them and i needed to contact the installers directly . I am totally convinced that the people installing were the same people from the eco4 company. Still never been able to chat with Connor who was meant to be the one i needed to talk to. The owner of the company just put the phone down on me without even letting me inform him properly. All the pictures have been whattsapped to them to prove what i was saying. I have reported them to Ofgem today and will be contacting my solicitor.

In short they are DANGEROUS and UNSAFE electrically , Left loads of mess, Did not clear up after themselves, and quite aggressive for me to leave a 5 star rating. If i could leave ZERO stars, I would. I have reported back to the company with photos and heard nothing, hence this review. I now need to get a proper electrician to correct their errors ups. I have also reported them to the GAS SAFE organisation too

Post not , An electrician turned up and admitted the job was embarrassing and he looked very sheepish about the whole thing, I asked him if he worked for the company and he said "I am part of the team who corrects mistakes" He back tracked a little when I made a point that they need a whole team to correct dangerous practices then. He left me the wiring they first used and its even more dangerous than I first thought. He put truncking over the wires but left all the other bits exposed. Shambles . I have tried a number of times to get the plumbers back but i think i have more chance of winning the lottery than them correcting the dangerous stuff they have left me with .... Usman and team were amazing. They were very professional and completed the work efficiently. They also made sure everything was clean before they left. I appreciate their attention to detail and excellent customer service. Highly recommend their service!
