As we have previously explained to you, the warranty is in place for the sudden and unforeseen mechanical and electrical failure of the listed components only.
Upon receiving the invoice for the repairs which had already commenced, we contacted your repairer to request additional information. It was specifically explained to us that the component had failed due to electrical fatigue over the course of the vehicles lifespan, therefore, had got to the end of its working life. For a vehicle of such age (17 years old), this would not be uncommon to have occurred.
Your claim was rejected due to this, and also due to the process that had not been followed. You had repairs completed on your vehicle prior to reporting the issue to us and providing our claims team with an estimate and diagnosis. Whilst we understand you frustration, the outcome reached is fair and just.
For the remaining duration of your policy, should you need to make another claim, please ensure you follow the claims procedure correctly to ensure a valid claim can be considered. We would also like to remind you that we do not respond to demands and threatening behaviour. Please treat our staff with respect because after all, we are human.

My car’s fuel injectors were faulty, and I was really worried about the costs. Fortunately, 2020 was there to help, and they got the issue fixed without any problems. 2020 Warranty has been fantastic!

Had three legit claims and three thrown out because of wording not quite right and allowing 20-20 to wriggle out of honouring their warranty. I have the top level of cover. Not worth the paper it’s written on.

Thank you for your feedback.
We apologise that we were unable to assist you on these occasions, however, as you will be aware, the warranty is in place for the sudden mechanical and electrical failure of the listed items only. When there is no fault found during the diagnosis procedure, there really isn't anything we are able to assist with. This is the same for excessive wear and tear to components, it just isn't something we can cover.
When a repairer confirms the cause of failure is due to "the age of the component", this supports that the failure is not a sudden and unforeseen one.
We do hope this clears any confusion as to why you have been unsuccessful in making a claim.
Should you require assistance for the remaining duration of your policy, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

My car broke down
My car broke down, the dealer I got the car from wasn't interested and sent me to these guys. After a couple of emails, I had my claim paid and my car fixed. Service like this is priceless when your car is your main money earner. Would recommend.

Thank you so much to all the team at 2020 warranty. My ford Transit broke down, I called 2020 warranty and they had a recovery truck to me within 30 minutes and they paid for me to have a new engine. Could not fault them one bit.

2020warranty was really impressive
2020warranty was really impressive. From my first contact through to getting repairs done and making my claim, they could not of been more helpful and their payment made was very fair. I would recommend them especially as my previous experience of other warranty companies was not good where they avoided paying out - there was none of that which redeems my view of such companies - well done and thanks.

Purchased an extended warranty with my…
Purchased an extended warranty with my new vehicle. Annoyingly had a slight issue very early on, however when I contatced 2020 they were very helpful from the start and paid my claim for an ABS sensor. Very pleased and will be renewing with them.

Cannot fault this company one bit. Had an issue within 3 weeks of buying my new car. The dealership told me to call 2020 warranty. When I did they explained it to me really well and paid out my claim with no issues. Will 100% renew when my policy expires.

Not worth the paper it’s written on
Not worth the paper it’s written on. We have had endless issues with the vehicle we purchased and nothing is covered. Check the wording before the buy the car. Despite what the company say their warranty cover very little. The issue with the car was from day 1 of collecting the vehicle. The steering wheel wouldn’t even sit straight! We were given different information on how to “claim” and then the car company “gave” up and bank transferred the payment to us. The warranty company themselves are worthless as they cover barely anything!!! Stay away from this company!

We are so disappointed that you have felt the need to leave such a bad review for our wonderful team. Your first claim was found to be invalid due to the process not being followed and the fault was apparent at the time you purchased the vehicle. However, on that occasion, it was authorised by our claims team for a total of £500 goodwill gesture to assist with the cost of repairs.
Having received the estimate for the most recent issue with your vehicle, suspension strut mounts are specifically excluded under the policy. Alongside being an excluded item, the component is one which was invoiced for within the cost of repairs for the previous occurrence, and was supposedly replaced at this time. It was confirmed by your repairer that the old top mount had been used when the shock absorber was replaced. This has caused consequential damage to the shock absorber which is less than 3-months old.
We feel this review is unfair and is not meant for us, as we were not the ones who carried out the repairs on your vehicle back in July.
The One Star Review has been removed
The review I wrote and gave one star for is not here, because someone has removed it. However, what I will say my review was based on the response of 2020 which was they would not cover the faults on the car if they were apparent when you took the car. I believe this should be the case with all warranty companies, The garage must ensure the car has no faults before they put a warranty on the car, they cannot tell you to claim the fault they never fixed before selling you the car, Thats why they make a profit, to give you something safe to drive.
I agreed to settle my dispute with the Garage Moorhouse Beds for 1700 pound based in the faults I noticed myself; I have already spent 2500 in putting it right and will now go to a main dealer for another 1500 of work. It's nonsense letting a warranty company pick up the bill for selling you a unroadworthy car and probably illegal. This is why insurance prices rise every year, but the warranty company also has to check out the dealers it allows to sell the products not just look at volume of sales
