Theses shorts are the best by a country mile. Would highly recommend.

Best running shorts for gels but could still be improved. I tried out these shorts with gels for the first time recently. It was a 22 mile long run and I packed 5 gels with me - some in the side sections and some in the front section to balance to weight. However what I didn't realise is that there is no internal separation between the compartments, so after 30 mins when I went to get my first gel from the side, to my surprise it wasn't there. All the gels had slid forward to the front section, so I was now running a bit like having a bum bag full of gels at the front. Prior to setting off I had separated my gels strategically into the compartments (some with caffeine some with not) so now I had to sort through my bum bag of gels mid running to find the correct gel I wanted to take. I must admit I hadn't noticed they had all slid to the front, and it wasn't weighing me down, nor was there any slippage, but it would seem like an obvious design improvement to ensure the compartments are separated to ensure even balance and ease of access.

I saw these shorts on instagram and purchased for my marathon. I am quite picky about my running shorts as I don't want them to ride up and want to feel like the material is breathable which these are! I wore them for the first time during a half marathon and they were great.
Firstly, they didn't move and felt breathable. Secondly, I could fit so much in the mesh pockets! I had my phone in the back bit, gels either side of my legs and airpods (in case) round the front.

Overall, I am really happy with this purchase and will recommend them highly to other runners.

I never write reviews, but these shorts are so good I just had to write something. They are genuinely superb. As I was running all I could think of is how annoyed I was I didn’t find these sooner!

I even thought before I got them, how much difference really can a pair of shorts make to overall comfort, feel and performance. Turns out quite a lot!

I bought a pair of 7 inch 2in1 2.0 shorts.

And these are easily on of the most disappointing running products I’ve ever bought.

For years I’ve run in 2in1 shorts and I’ve had zero issues.

For the last two season I’ve been running in a affordable Decathlon pair. I completed multiple ultras in these shorts including UTMB CCC.

The one downside to these shorts is storage, especially when running marathons and half marathon when I’m not wearing a running vest.

So like a sucker Instagram leads me to 262 and rather impulsively I buy these as they looked to be a great solution.

The first red flag is when they arrived in the post. They are really heavy.

And much of this weight is coming from the inner lining which is super thick.

And they aren’t built this way because this is the only way to stop items bouncing about, just ask anyone who has a naked belt or similar (I personally own a belt by Solomon). They are feather light and you simply don’t notice it out running (contrary to 262s marketing…)

They’re heavy because I suspect they’re just a rebadged generic running shorts bought in bulk from China.

When I went out for my first run the inner lining would bunch up leading to chafing, something I’ve never experienced in any other short (and ultimately why I’m writing this review).

I still gave these shorts one more chance so I wash them hoping it would soften them up a little but no no avail. I spent the whole running adjusting the liner.

These are far from premium high performance clothing.

In fact these are so poor, I’d feel bad selling them on Vinted…

Saw this come up on my sponsored links on Instagram a lot and was always sceptical so put it off for a while but after going through loads of other shorts I thought I’d try them out. They are great! Plenty of space to have gels/phone/car key and they main thing is nothing moves, you can run without it slapping into your thigh etc. also experience zero chaff

Needed a rapid exchange as shorts initially did not fit (sizing on website is accurate but I was on borderline between M/S) and I had marathon in a few days. The team did everything they could to help and got me a new pair sent in time. 😀

£36 race singlet is a cheap Nike knock-off from Temu with a logo ironed on the front. I have even found the exact item on Temu for £4.89. Search for 'Men's Breathable Casual Sports Vest' and you will find it.

New 2 in 1 shorts are lethal - fixed chafing issues with the split shorts. Light, pockets are great. Only pair of shorts I found that don't chafe. Ordered two pairs.

Go to for every run now and will be ordering more.

Purchased 262 pocket shorts. Claim to be chafe free. They are not, bad chafing on my first run of only 8km.
Design otherwise is clever but just annoyed that the claims are false. They fit well and are lightweight. Zip pocket on back could do with a pull string to locate easier.
Can’t return them as I cut the label out as that irritated me the moment I put them on. Suggest this is moved to the waist band.

Wore the shorts and short sleeve top for Dublin marathon and clontarf half . Exactly as it says on the tin . Extremely happy so far . Got the grey shorts, leggings and light jacket for a Christmas present ,tried them out on St Stephan’s Day run, very Comfortable.

Hi, I can just relay my experience. I purchased a pair of shorts 6 days ago. I paid extra for 24 hour delivery. I still haven't received the shorts and I've not had a response to my email. I've tried to cancel the order, but the company haven't responded as yet. If the shorts arrive, I'll update accordingly (but the lack of communication is still disappointing)

I received an update from the company on Christmas Day, which is above and beyond. I need to stress that my review is not a reflection on the shorts, (which I purchased before and are excellent) but on the delivery service.

I received the order today. To be fair to the company, they waived the 24hour delivery fee and a reduction on the product. Fair play.

Just did 8 miles in the 262 shorts and they are class. I'm a really sceptical person so I was ready to fund something wrong with them but they are faultless. Took my phone and a gel with me no bother, the inner mesh doesn't chafe and holds the package nicely 😉 zip at the back for car key is a really bonus too.

I purchased the running jacket, i'm 5'8, 140lbs and a small fits perfect. Lovely quality jacket and very comfortable on a long run

I was very excited about the shorts and long tights because with all the pockets they had all the features that I was looking for. That's why I ordered both, plus a jacket. It's been 7 days since I placed my order, and besides the confirmation of the purchase, I haven't received any other status update because my order is still processing. I tried to reach out to support via e-mail after 5 days, then on Instagram, and now, 7 days later, I've sent a new e-mail to cancel my order.
I can imagine that building a business is not that easy, but I believe that it's during the initial steps that you would want to put the extra effort to build your brand. Happy customers will advertise the brand for you for free.
Sadly, I am not one of those and I will now look for running clothes elsewhere.

I recently ordered a pair of shorts, which arrived last week—perfect timing for me to test them during yesterday's 10k race.
What an absolute pleasure to wear these shorts! No bounce at all, and it almost felt like I wasn’t wearing anything. Seriously, GREAT JOB 👏🏻
