Ordered a belt from 511
Ordered a belt from 511. Hundred dollars plus. Transaction of course went through "fast." Problem is, after about a month and a couple email inquiries, I have NO PRODUCT. Nada. As I've said, I emailed 511 inquiring about at least an update about my shipping progress. Crickets. I'd like to still believe that 511 is indeed a great company, but after this experience, I have my doubts. I won't be doing business with them again. I'm done. On that note, If my product does not reach me anytime soon, and they refuse to refund MY MONEY, I will be reporting 511 Tactical to the Better Business Bueral.
***UPDATE
A couple of days after posting this review 511 did reach back to me via email and text. They informed me that they would look into my shipping delay and I will have to say that they indeed followed through. 1 day later, I received my belt. The belt itself is immaculate and of great quality. So I will give 511 tactical the credit they deserve. My hope is that they will do the same for many other customers who may be experiencing significant delays in receiving their paid for products. I find it satisfactory and appropriate for how they handled my delay.

Buttons on shorts and pants
The only thing wrong with the garments are the buttons broke on my favorite pair of shorts, but other than that they are high quality pants and shorts!!
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Took my money but its been a month no product. Sent three emails to customer service and no response.
Order "Processing" for 59+ Days...
Order is still "Processing" after 26 days. I used the "Contact Us" form on the 511 website to request updated info on the delay in shipping, it's been several days and I haven't heard any response. I haven't received any notification of delay, status update, no communication at all since they confirmed my payment. I hope my merchandise ships out soon, or else they give me a refund soon - I ordered summer clothes and summer will be over before my order ships!
Update Edit (47 Days After Ordering): 5.11 online customer service got back to me after a few weeks. They said they'll contact the warehouse and "give me an update when it's provided." A couple weeks later after no update, I got ahold of phone customer service and they said my order was stuck in "reserved picking" status in their system. The representative said he'd send the order through to the warehouse and expedite shipping.
Update Edit 2 (59 Days After Ordering): My order was still showing as "Processing" when I checked the website, 5.11 didn't send my any updates and also didn't send me my merchandise. I called their customer service again and they said they were now out of inventory on everything I had ordered and would refund me within a 24-48 hours. Hopefully the refund goes smoother than everything else they've tried to do...Overall this was an awful experience, I'll never buy anything from 5.11 that I actually need because chances of receiving merchandise you've purchased from them are pretty low.

Terrible service. Orders are canceled without explanation. Orders are sent in pieces. That is, if you order pants, a shirt, a bag and shoes in one order, you may receive four parcels.
Also, when I order products, my card is charged, then the money is returned in a couple of days, then charged again.
Do something with your service, please.
Horrible Customer Service!
I loved my 511 side zip boots. Actually had 2 pairs but when trying to reorder them with a LEO discount the costumer service was awful. I was on the phone for over an hour where they transferred me 3 times then left me on a blank line for 20 additional mins. Because of this experience I’m ordering shoes from Bates or a different company. So sad that they promote being Law Enforcement friendly but can’t even direct one caller. I thought they would be better!
Premium price for pants and shorts
Premium price for pants and shorts. After 6 months the thigh seams are coming apart. The Snaps don't hold. Bought a Craftsman Assorted Snap Fastener Kit 74638 and replaced the snaps. Will not purchase 5.11 again.

My review is primarily for services. Clothing line (pants, shorts and boots) are all great products.
So, waited for the May sale. Ordered $2k is clothing for company personal. Said 1 week for delivery. First item showed up in 5 days. Granted I ordered 25+ items. One pair of pants arrived. Two days later, another single pair showed up. Then after 10 days I received 1/3 of the order. Not in the order of the orders I placed whatsoever. Now moving on here it's been well over 2 weeks plus and do not have the order completed. Emails stated the delivery company lost the order. Received the last of the order (except the boots which was so so important) 2 days ago. So in all it has taken over 3 weeks to receive a complete order except the boots.
That's unacceptable in this day and age. If you ha e patience them go for it. Local store said 1 week, site said entire order as I placed it was all stock items yet 3 weeks and still missing boots. Never again
Customer Service Super Sucks!
When I first discovered 5.11 I thought they were a great all American company. I recently checked a garment I purchased from them and found the "made in Taiwan" label inside. It's been all downhill from there. They have the worst customer service ever. I placed an order in January, following their size chart to the letter and the leggings were still too small. I sent them back requesting to size up. They were out of stock so it was a waiting game. After 2 weeks I got an email saying they were back in stock. I called customer service and the rep said the stores have restocked but they still don't have any in the warehouse for online orders. Ok so I continued to wait. After a MONTH they emailed me to advise they could just refund me and "David in Customer Service" could not have cared less. If their clothes are designed for stick figures and not real women they should make that clear instead of holding you hostage for a month. They officially suck and I won't be buying anything else from 5.11 nor failing to tell everyone about their so called customer service.

I opted for the ground (free) delivery option. At checkout the site said that it would be up to a 5-7 day delivery. 4 days later, the shipping status says “preparing for delivery” I called customer service. They said it would take a week to actually ship, and another 5 days to get the product. I will never order another product from them again.
Horrible business model…
I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with their customer service. I should start by saying that I could have bought the same Edge Chino pants on Amazon for the same price with next day shipping. However, I am willing to wait a few days so that 5.11 receives a larger percentage of the sale. I like the product and have been waiting months for the correct color & size to finally be restocked. I received the two pairs of pants today (6 days later) and discovered that one pair of pants was a totally different style than those ordered. I called up the company and was quickly connected to a pleasant customer service representative. She e-mailed me a shipping label and stated that I can repack the incorrect pants and drop them off at the Post Office. She then informed me that the turnaround would be about three weeks. I cannot understand how a business can survive with this model. The company screwed up by sending the wrong pants and I am being penalized for their mistake? I have to print out a shipping label, repack the incorrect item and bring it to the post office and then wait three weeks to get the correct item, while they are still holding onto my money. Any other successful company would have the correct item shipped immediately, in order to rectify the mistake they had made. I like many of their products, but it has reached the point where they just don’t seem to care about their customers. I would recommend that potential consumers spend their money with a more loyal company, but at the very least, do not order direct from the company.

Sent for a bag first part of October. Was told it was in stock and that it would ship in 24 hours. Then told it would not ship until 20th... Then told it would not ship until 1/1/22!! I understand the excuse for times being hard due to covid but, that excuse is wearing thin. You have had ample time to fix whatever issues covid placed upon you.

They went above and beyond for me when I was having major issues with a UK webstore that I had ordered two 5.11 Tactical products from. I was waiting 8 weeks with no reason or delivery date. I reached out to 5.11 direct to see if they knew of any supply issues that may have affected the supply to this UK webstore... They checked for me and found they should have no issues getting the products in, the store was still being useless and 5.11 said they would help me directly so I cancelled the order with this UK webstore. With-in a week I had received the products at a cheaper price than I would had originally ordered and FREE delivery too. Also another package arrived with a Free 5.11 baseball cap and credit card sleeve for all the problems I had with that god awful UK webstore. Thanks for being so awesome 5.11 Tactical. Oh and the products are brilliant too!
Worst returns process ever
Mailed off a return 8/2. On 8/20 they acknowledged receipt of the return only issuing 1/2 credit for items they shipped ik an incorrect size. Finally got someone to read the notes on 9/7 and they corrected the amount and was told 3-5 business days until I would see my return. 9/12 was told money was refunded but if I didn’t see the money in a few day call back. 9/17 called to follow up and was told they never received the return. Finally make them go into detail and she saw the history of the return and was going to escalate to corporate and will have someone call me back. Not holding my breath, I’m sure I will be back on with them next week and still waiting for my money.
Buyer Beware!
Placed an order on 9/6. Between 9/6 and 9/11 I received 3 order delayed emails. I called to see why the delay on 9/13. Customer service said the order had gone to a store to fulfill and they had rejected the order with no reason given. One would think there would be a checks and balance to ensure orders get filled. Customer service said they'd have it shipped from the warehouse directly and expedite shipping. Problem solved....or so I thought. The night of 9/13 I get another email stating the order was canceled. Called customer service again on 9/14. They don't know why it was canceled but "assume it is out of stock". Probably so since it's been almost 10 days since initial order and you never filled it. Listen to the reviews on this place before placing an order. I wish I had.
