Complete ignorance and lack of customer service and support

BUYER BEWARE!

Absolutely appalling customer service. After spending $1,500, I would expect a basic level of support, but this has been the complete opposite. It is virtually impossible to contact or communicate with them!

I requested a return on the day of delivery and have now followed up six times over more than a month with little to no response. On the rare occasion they did reply, I responded promptly, only to be ignored again. I’ve also attempted to contact them via their online chat multiple times with no response whatsoever.

The item remains unused and repacked, yet they have made no effort to organise the return despite agreeing to it. They don’t even adhere to their own refund policy. This is complete ignorance of their stated terms and a total lack of customer service. Would not recommend.

The table arrived damaged

The table arrived damaged and I have not been able to get a meaningful response from 9am Home. An initial email from the Global Distribution Manager indicated I would get a replacement table. Yet, weeks after this email, there has been no follow up and no action.

It seems incredible that a company that retails online in Australia can do so without a proper support line or team to resolve these types of issues. There is no phone number and email responses are seldom received (as in my case).

How this will play out is anybody’s guess! For other persons considering this product, do try to look at other options . This company is (at this point) non-responsive to issues surrounding damage to items.

They'll take your money and ignore you

Don't expect any level of service after you've purchased. I'm after a tax invoice which is a legal obligation and they're completely oblivious. Many unreturned emails. If the standup desk breaks down I'll be throwing it away, I can't imagine trying to lodge a warranty claim if they can't email a pdf.

Not all product parts arrived

Not all product parts arrived. The box was missing pieces. I have e-mailed the support centre twice and no one has acknowledged the issue let one provided the missing parts.

The desk actually looks good so it is a shame that I cannot provide a better score but after spending a considerable sum of money I would hope for at least an email in a week and a half.

Customer service is appalling

Customer service is appalling. I've reached out five times, via email and chat asking for a tax invoice, having been told that GST is included in the price. They promised one and it did not arrive, and I've received no response to my follow up.

Honest and Prompt

All interaction with 9AM has been pleasant. I needed a special order and they advised it was possible to mix and match. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because when the order was delivered, I didn't receive what was agreed. Although this was rectified within a couple of days, with the replacement delivered, I had to follow up multiple times to have the extra item returned.

I selected the 9am Robin Pro after…

I selected the 9am Robin Pro after doing some research - it was one of the top rated and the key difference for me was the compact size and the reported easy set up. I purchased directly from 9am - it was cheaper elsewhere but the cheaper price didn't include delivery so what I paid was the best price I could find including delivery. It was shipped very quickly and the only confusion was that the two packages came in seperate deliveries on seperate days - when I checked the emails I could see that this was clearly tracked. The two packages are heavy, so get some help with moving them. As promised, the set up was super easy, though again, have some help standing it up. The sit / stand presets are easy to set up and the desk reminds you with a nudge when it's time to move. I love it!

Highly recommended!!

The Dora desk is absolutely beautiful and blew me away honestly!! Sooo glad I got this desk. Was soo easy to essemble and the added light feature is worth it. Love not having to put on room light when I can just walk in and the light comes on itself and I can walk out quickly and it will go off itself. Thank you 9AM! Will be recommending to others for sure.

Great experience all around

Great experience all around. Easy ordering, quick delivery. Also when I had an issue with my order (ordered the wrong size), they were super easy to deal with to resolve in a no-fuss manner.
Highly recommended!

Company needs to sort their billing

The desk itself is great, easy to assemble and stylish design. However, I did not expect to be charged an international transaction fee when purchasing an item within Australia from an Australian seller. When I tried to address this with the company, I was advised to take it up with my bank and that I should have read the fees and charges information on their website. If an Australian company knowingly uses an OS merchant to process their sales transactions then this should be CLEARLY stated upfront. I likely would have purchased the item anyway, but the additional charge did leave a bad impression as this seems to be a known issue.

Bad Shipping, Great Chair.

Their customer service is good and the chair that I received is better.

4/5 Stars because their shipping partner was only doing half of what they'd normally do since of dock maintenance. It took over a month to deliver January the 9th to February the 10th and the box was pretty busted up but the chair didn't take any damage.

My experience with the chair has been positive I attached the headrest but it was too low for me and the leg rest was also awkward probably due to my height 192cm (6' 3") but I could remove the headrest and leg rest in a few minutes with a Phillips head screwdriver and the provided Allen key. Arm rests are good in terms of movement and you can take them off if you like with an Allen key, also the tops of the arm rests can be removed if you wear through them but I do not believe you can get replacements.

So far the only wear on my "Newton Computer Gaming Office Home Ergonomic Chair" in dark grey is a tiny bit of the base part where you sit there is a fluffy textured string and a bit of the fluff came off showing the inner string which is white.

Great product, prompt service, "dark oak" is chocolate toned, not black.

Quick shipping and prompt customer service from 9am home when one of the packages didn't arrive. The desk is very high quality and relatively easy to assemble. That said, set aside 2 - 3 hours to put it together. My only disappointment, and reason for 4 stars, is that the "dark oak" colour is chocolate brown. The swatch online is more suggestive of a black tone to the oak so I probably would have chosen a different desk if this was more clear in the product description.

Nicely looking and ergonomic

I love my new 9am home desk which is white and solid ash desktop. It has rounded corners and edges, warm on touch, stable solid and works perfectly fine.
Drawers and cable case make the difference too
