I couldn’t have asked for or recommend a better driving instructor than Tan. She’s incredibly patient, kind, and has a gift for explaining things in a way that actually makes sense. From day one, I felt supported, even when I was nervous or doubting myself. Tan really took the time to shape my driving and helped me build solid habits that I know will stick with me. She never made me feel rushed or silly for making mistakes and instead, she stayed calm, encouraging, and always helped me learn from them. Her approach helped me grow more confident with every lesson. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students and not just about helping you pass the test, but about making sure you become a safe, capable driver for life. I’m so grateful for her support and would recommend her to absolutely anyone learning to drive.

Passed my driving test today with Manny, 1 minor and “passed the test easily” comment from the Examiner. Manny is the man. Best driving instructor ever, very calm, composed and very professional. Totally different from my 1st instructor where i got really bad experience. Kudos to Manny for teaching me to be a better driver. Highly recommended driving instructor!

I took driving lessons with A1 and with the instructor Usman Hashmi and it was my best choice he is very professional, patient and pretty good in what he does. I feel very comfortable to go to the test. I passed at my first test time. So thank my instructor and A1.

My driving instructor was Mo. He was an incredible driving instructor and I could not thank him enough with how much he has helped. I am a very anxious person so having someone so patience with me was amazing. I also have a very busy schedule, Mo always had time to take me on lessons which even included him working on his days off just to ensure that I was test ready and comfortable driving. His reassuring words and calm energy made my driving exam so much more easier than expected. He also taught me techniques to help with me overthinking and anxiety while driving which came in handy while taking my test and thankfully passed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to drive soon or has a driving test coming up. Amazing support! Could not thank him enough! :)

Passed Automatic today with Tan. Highly recommend. I came to him very nervous and have left feeling confident. He knew and explained all local roundabouts, junctions, etc and this knowledge of the Derby test area really helped me. He accommodated the times I needed to do lessons very quickly and I was really pleased to find a high quality driving instructor at such short notice. He's a really friendly guy with loads of great stories and I've truly learned a life skill from him. I had only few lessons with Mr. Manny Usman due to very short notice, 1month and 2 weeks to be exact. Luckily, he was very patient, calm and kind with me, and taught me all the things the I needed to know to help me pass this exam.

I have been having auto lessons with Erum after 3 test attempts in manual! I passed today with only 2 minors and its down to Erum and her patient teaching! She always corrected my mistakes in a manner tailored to me as today has shown, it works well! Would highly recommend to anyone starting their driving or like me have struggled in the past!

I passed first time with Tanzeel, i've been with a few instructors before but only gained my confidence and felt I was learning more with Tanzeel, he has always been very patient, calm and supportive with me and very helpful!!

Passed my practical driving test today in my second attempt with Manny Usman. I’d given the test before with a different instructor and hadn’t cleared. I was recommended Manny by a friend who cleared the test with him. Approached Manny 8 weeks prior to the exam and he’s been nothing short of amazing. He was patient with me and guided me every step of the way. He explained my mistakes clearly and was kind enough to accommodate with my timings due to my work schedule. Leading up to the exam he built my confidence and helped me manage my nerves. He took me on different routes so I’m accustomed to them and even practiced with me the morning of the test. Overall, I would recommend Manny to anyone taking the test.

I did my lessons with Muazzam Tariq and thanks to him I passed! He was a great instructor, very patient and was flexible to my schedule. He helped me build my confidence whilst driving and always gave helpful feedback after mock tests.
He also taught many of my cousins and my brother who all also passed with him. He’s easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable whilst learning and I highly recommend him and A1 if you’re looking to learn!
