Never received my item and no response…

Never received my item and no response on message even they read it. Seems like lots of people had same experience on their instagram account review !

We're really sorry you had such a poor experience with us. Due to the global pandemic there were issues with shipping and delivery to certain countries due to lack of transportation and reduced work force.

I can not find any emails from you, however I can see that your order was cancelled and refunded on the 9th of July.

I hope this solution was satisfactory for you however if you have any other issues please to not hesitate to contact us as we would love to make it up to you now that both our EU and US warehouse are back up and running as normal.

UPDATE: got a refund finally.

UPDATE: I HAVE NOW RECEIVED A REFUND. Even though I never got my order, money is now finally safe. I placed my order in April and still haven't received my order. Aava Swim won't make a refund.. but keep just sending me messages that the items are being send this week. I have informed them that I don't want my orders anymore and I have asked them to return my money. So I just have to accept my stupidity of ordering from Aava. Do not be as stupid as I was.

I have looked into your order more closely and can see that you ordered from our US warehouse on April 27th and the was in transit since then and faced severe delays due to Covid-19. I have checked the tracking for your order and can see that it arrived in Finland and is currently in customs pending payment of customs charges.

I also want to extend an apology on behalf of the customer experience team for our delayed response. We have since expanded our small team and are doing our best to respond to each and every customer.

I can see as you mentioned in your review that your order was cancelled and refunded. I hope this solution was satisfactory for you however if you have any other issues please to not hesitate to contact us as we would love to make it up to you now that both our EU and US warehouse are back up and running as normal.

Don’t risk using this company.

Be wary of ordering through this company as I found myself with over £20 of additional customs duty to pay. Took a very long time to come too.

I am sorry to hear that your order has been charged with a customs fee!

We recently opened our German warehouse in June so that our lovely European customers could avoid steep customs fees for items coming from the US.

For our customers that were faced with a customs charge we offered to reimburse you for this inconvenience. We would like to extend this to you as obviously the customs charge that you were faced with was due to the original order that you placed from our US warehouse finally being delivered to you after long delays due to Covid-19.

Unfortunately we can not find any correspondence or your order from just your first name so if you would like this then please send us an email to hi@aavaswim.com with your order number and a photo of your customs charge receipt and we will happily refund this to the payment method you used at check out.
