Absolutely delighted with the product
Absolutely delighted with the product, the installation and the follow up. There was no pressure selling, it was a good deal and within days of signing the system was in and working. and the guys who installed the system did a great job! I would strongly recommend you have a look at Absolute Solar Panels if you are thinking of joining the green revolution!!

Wed been considering solar for a while
Wed been considering solar for a while, & had been put off by horror stories from other companies. Decided to bite the bullet & did research where PS came out top of customer reviews. Enquired & they fit us in for later the same day. An agent came out & assessed our home, discussed options with us. All clear language & all supported by our own research. The install was smooth as anything and even on dreary March days we're mostly self sufficient. The workmen were polite, professional, safe & tidied up as they worked. They explained how everything worked, clearly & patiently.
I can't recommend this company enough

Absolute Renewables provided comprehensive advice in a timely manner through very good staff at a good price. I requested a quick turnaround from order to fitting which was met and the work was to a high standard.
While I have only been running the system for a short time now I've already added an iBoost+ system to provide free hot water to my 250l tank reducing my boiler usage and further reducing my energy costs and footprint.
I will probably fit an additional storage battery once I've got more data to make an informed decision, I'm already convinced (from the data gathered so far) that it will further improve my 'Daily Self Use Rate' and reduce the payback time.
I'm currently in reach of cutting my electricity consumption to a ⅓ of it's previous level which is very good at this time of year and spiralling energy costs, this will of course improve even more in the summer months as it will reduce as the days get shorter in the winter.
I do recommend Absolute Renewables to family and friends.

After doing several weeks of research
After doing several weeks of research, and to be fair years of contemplating if to get solar panels or not, coupled with the massive increases in fuel (gas and electric), I finally decided to make a decision to purchase Solar panels.
Then came the decision - with who do I make the purchase??....more research!!
After a further week of research I decided to offer Absolute Renewables the opportunity to quote me.
The representative came out to the house and measured up, gave me the details and stats and went through what Absolute Renewables could offer me - I wouldn't call it a Sales pitch, as I'm in sales myself (he didn't know that at the time), it was more of a solution discussion i.e. current usage V's what the panels would supply V's payback.
At no point did I feel any pressure to sign/commit but as I had done my research in to Solar and the other companies + I really liked what Absolute Renewables had to offer as an overall package/company, I decided to go with 10 panels and a 5kw battery.
Jump to the scaffolding going up - great team, very courteous of my property, then to the actual installation of the panels and equipment in the loft.
Again, can not fault the team in any way shape or form, great team, loads of knowledge of the panels and what they did, talked me through the app etc...I can not fault them at all.....oh and all the while this was happening I was being contacted by the Absolute Renewables team to make sure all was going ok, updating me with progress etc...etc...etc..outstanding customer service!!
Installation only took 6 hours!!
Two months after installation, system working great generated over 260kwh and my first electric bill since installation is £90 cheaper
The start to my payback
Great service, great company, great installation - would recommend.

You are correct, a visit is not a typical sales pitch. When we visit, we tend to both educate and inform customers of the benefits as opposed to selling.
When people see the massive savings and benefits of installing Solar Panels with batteries. It just makes both financial and environment sense to have them installed.

Do not do business with this salesman who is the face of the company
Do not do business with this company after a sales pitch of over 4 hrs would not give us any information and would not leave the house when asked he told us that he would leave when he said the meeting was over not us .If at this point he had left us with a quote it would have been considered with others we had received. He was asked to leave his response was to say he would stay until he had seen other quotes and would take as long as he wonted . He then said I will speak to my boss but would not leave the house till he had phoned . We told him to call from outside , and finally managed to push him out the door ,because of there representative I WOULD NOT HAVE THERE PRODUCT IF IT WERE FREE . The salesman would not give a card or his full name and was intimidating and bullying to force a sale
The product did look good but there representatives let them down that is why I would not use this company

And then you state he have you "no information" Our representatives do not have the time to just visit and chat. This would make them late for their next appointments. The whole purpose of the visit is to help people understand and educate regarding the benefits and potential savings with Solar Panels installed.
We are super busy, literally overwhelmed with inquiries, helping people invest in Solar Panels explaining how to reduce their electricity bills, the long term financial gains, together with the positive environmental impact Solar Panels can make for future generations.
Especially after the April 2022 hike in electricity bills and another projected 65% increase in October 2022
By being there an allegedly 4 hours would have taken time away from attending other homes with high bills that people are worried about these days.
A typical visit would be from one to two hours maximum.
As far as we understand the representative did go through your current bills with you and your future electricity costs and savings, together with all the other benefits, He also left you with an information package for your future consideration.
We have well over 3000 installations over the last 10 years and we are a highly respected Solar Panel installation company.
We would request that you remove your statement “Do no do business with this company” as one alleged incident does not reflect our business where we have 1000’s of happy customers.

To date 16th October 2022 Eddy has not contacted the company to allow us to follow up on the details. We can only assume that his complaint is not actually vailid. All companies make mistakes or have staff who may cause issues. We have been in business 10 years and always try to rectify every complaint. However, its does require the other side to speak too.

Great until the end
Great speech and honestly they did sell me on the product. I couldn't find my credit card to place a deposit, that's when it all turned around and I'm glad it went walkies. Turned into any means necessary to get money from me although I said I wouldn't mind losing the discount and waiting for a replacement to come through. I was just 'having them on' etc and the bully boy tactics came out. In retrospect, I don't know anyone that takes a deposit before a credit search, very suspicious there. Glad it went a bit array and look forward to never seeing them again.
Edit: ask your salesman regarding his tactics, they may not be in line with your standards. He reflects your company and made a terrible impression. I don’t think I should have to force anyone to leave my property because he didn’t get what he wanted. Yet, here we are.
The deposit was by credit card, the rest to be done by finance. Never known anyone to take a deposit before doing a credit search, so yes, I stand by how strange that is.
He was on the phone to someone from the office while doing this, so my faith in your company is not there… That and he never left any information to contact you with.

Thank you, Adam, for your comments, even though we feel unfounded. We do not use "Bully" tactics. Even if we did you would have the right to cancel within 14 days. So, what would be the point of us doing that?
Regarding credit search, Shops and online purchases do not make credit searches when you purchase by credit card. I am sorry that is a ridiculous statement.
A deposit is the normal way to purchase items and we would request a minimum of £500 to process the order. In addition, by purchasing anything with a credit card your purchase is protected under the consumer credit act. "Under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, the credit card company is jointly and severally liable for any breach of contract"

Absolute avoid bully boy sales tactics. had quotes in past, I saw add on net saying government grants were available next thing got a phone call to make appointment same day. I agreed and asked if they had given me a quote In past they assured me they hadn't. Very polite until said no then wanted 30 pounds when I said no and he refused to leave so told him to take me to court and I would see him there. Avoid these people

Thank you, Tim, for your comments. I am sure you are confused. Our company never asks for £30 pounds for a quote. We do, however, ask for a deposit when ordering Solar Panels, this is normal process and would have been the case here.
If you were unhappy with the representative, it would have been a better and bigger impact to report this person to our company direct, so we could investigate and take appropriate actions if required.
Our staff are knowledgeable and professionally trained. Customer service is paramount, however, there could be a time (as in any business) where one representatives may be misunderstood or conflicts with the customer. In this case, by contacting the company direct would allow us the opportunity to reprimand or re-train that individual.
I must point out that one incident is not indicative of the company as a whole. When you state "Avoid these people". That comment is incorrect as you have had no contact with any other members of the company.
We have well over 3000 installations over the last 10 years and we are a highly respected Solar Panel installation company.

Similarly to the below, the sales process is fantastic, then the installation process is laughably unorganised. I've made several phonecalls a day, every day so far for the last month, and we do now finally have panels 6 weeks after they were promised, however I also have scaffolding blocking my back door which has been here for over a week and there's no sign of it coming down and nobody ever gives you any useful information when you call. You will be promised your own programme manager who you will hear from once and then never again, you will be promised someone will assist in setting you up with Octopus, this will never happen, you'll just be sent an email telling you to call an invalid number. I'm in the process of finding out who the ombudsmen are to report this company as the customer service has been appauling.

Pam, thank you for your comments. We are sorry about the scaffolding, unfortunately all scaffolding is via a local third-party company, and we are not legally allowed to remove their materials. We always try to get the scaffolding companies to remove asap.
Our phone number is not invalid, however, if the line is busy with other calls it may seem to be.
Regarding customer service, unlike most companies who make you listen to music for many minutes and push a variety of buttons, we actually pick up the phone, however, if all our staff are on the line to other customers there could be a delay. Please always send an email so that we can both have a record of your comments and action them with the correct department.
Our staff are in the office 5 days a week and always pick up calls and guide you regarding the Octopus registration.
With installations we typically install within 3 weeks, however, weather and COVID can delay the timing.

beware this campany because they are con artist, don't belive a word the saleman said as I found only thing he good at is lie, nothing he told me is truth, and he will some silly excuse to charge you for his time because, he didn't like leave with empty handed, I was charge £30+ travel expense. DON'T DEAL WITH THIS CAMPANY.

We have been in business for over 10 years with over 3000 solar panel installations. All our customers have enjoyed free energy from the sun and giving the electric fuel increases in 2022 they will have reduced.
In addition, we have a great reputation in the business, so it is totally unfounded to say, Don’t deal with this company.
If you really had a complaint, then the best action would have been to email our customer service department.

After sales are crap
Sales rep was polite and sold me the dream, fitters came and I had to supply RCD and tails, did not have dongle for battery modual which they was fitting and was promised dongle by return of post, I rang 2-3 times a day and just got a ansewering machine, rang main office and was promised to get a recall in the Been in touch with credit card company to cancel payment due to having more problems with battery, not working properly, keep you updated with any new progress.
