I studied with Access Courses Online for just over a year, and I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience. The organisation is run very efficiently and feels structured, supportive, and consistently professional from start to finish.

One of the things I valued most was the use of Microsoft Teams. It made communication clear and transparent — you always know who to contact, when tutors are available, and when to expect a reply. Questions are answered promptly (often within minutes), and it’s easy to follow discussions, see updates, and engage with other students. It never feels like sending an email into the void; there’s always a sense of connection and accountability.

The course itself was very well organised and delivered to a high standard. I especially enjoyed the Business and Management units with Dr. Rehman, whose teaching was excellent. Having tutors at PhD level added real depth and value to the course. For a Level 3 qualification, the academic support and professionalism felt far above what I expected.

Overall, the team is responsive, trustworthy, and clearly cares about students’ progress. It has been a genuinely positive return to study for me, and I’m very grateful for the support I received throughout.

I’m truly happy to give Access Courses Online five stars and, honestly, I only wish I could have stayed on for another year!

I have had a positive experience studying the Access to Higher Education course online. The course is well organised, the content is clear, and the online format has made it flexible and easy to manage alongside my other responsibilities. I have not faced any major issues and feel well supported throughout the course.

I have found all of my course tutors very helpful and responsive towards questions i have had, and overall i feel as if i have learned a lot since starting my course.

At first, it was difficult to schedule and structure my working times, especially around a full time job. However, the tutors and resources available have really helped ease the pressure of studying. There could be some more guidance available for people who struggle with parts of the process of planning their studies and also for applying to Higher Education, but I've definitely grown into my course and look forward to hearing back from my University choices!

Joining access courses online and leaving my 8-5 behind to study was the best decision i made in 2024. Due to which i will be starting uni studying my childhood dream of Nursing… i am a step closer to my dream thanks to the amazing team at access courses online. Thank you all. ❤️

The tutors Kate and Laura are very helpful and answer questions regarding to anything you may need help with. The units are very detailed and structured well. I recommend this course to anyone trying to get into university or just need a qualification.

I was introduced to the Nursing course few months ago and in retrospective I feel that every assignment and questions were interlinked on this future profession making this ideal since it gives both an opportunity to move forward into a university path while informing and encouraging to carry different formats of work some creative and other more essay like based.
Additionally the staff was very respectful and approachable making me feel comfortable to ask questions if there where instances where support was needed. Huge respect and my most sincere blessings to all staff, thanks for the opportunity to chase my dream once again.

I joined the course as a mature student for music production. The support has been great. I have had the chance to have 1 on 1s with my tutor to help make sure I will attain my required grades to get into university and the chat is always open to ask questions.

I'm class as a mature student, and as a total this Access to HE was a good way to get into university. The tutors provided a good amount of support when asked, however no dyslexia support when asked at beginning of course.
The unit and assignment briefs where very structured in what they wanted you to complete - although had issues with the wrong study plan and matching up with what units I needed to complete.
I do feel like if you are doing something for Healthcare then it is a broad area of learning, for example I did Midwifery however there wasn't much on Midwifery but rather the NHS/healthcare as a whole.
I would recommend doing the Access Courses, even though I did have a couple of issues. It is a good way to get your UCAS points if needed.

I did not expect the course to be so extensive and demanding. The subjects challenged my resourcefulness, and I think they are very relevant to my prospective course in Uni.
I found the tutors to be understanding and eager to help with completing assignments as at when due and appropriately. I would recommend this course to anyone wishing to get a good headstart for Uni.

This access course has been a great step towards heading to University. The course is self-paced with the ability to set realistic goals and the online recordings are excellent. It has been useful in learning how to reference and manage your time effectively. The topics are very interesting.

The course covers lots of areas and is updated regularly, the staff are helpful and often respond within a day, if not on the same day. The resources are online for you to look at so you can study at your own pace and do research. :)

Very encouraging environment, tutors are helpful. Course is entirely self-paced and flexible. Course could be better and more clearly structured (eg no timeline given for when units would be assigned, units assigned which do not correspond with study plan given etc).

A great online Access course with supportive and understanding tutors who are responsive over chat if needed. The learning materials are excellent and there is a really good blend of in person classes as well as recorded material which allows you to go at your own pace.
Marking of assignments can be a little slow and it seems to get done in bulk so a bit tricky to take on board any feedback to help you to improve your mark if needed for your next assignement but the feedback is thorough and informative.
Laura and Jemma have been particularly supportive throughout my time on the course and give realistic advice which is helpful. It enables you to push on with the course if there are any hurdles.
