What a spectacle.

I applied for a free trial (15 days,payment on 1st jan), which never got activated. Then I am told the 'communication' company had internal communication issues. Alongside every number they call me off gets detected as a scam/fraudulent.

I asked to cancel (just before the trial I never got ran out) numerous times with support and they insisted every time that I am eligible for a 30d trial instead of the usual 15, which I expressed at every point that I am not interested in.

Since then I have been rang multiple unsolicited, everything but begging for me to have another look. (also getting me mixed up with other customers)

I don't believe that acefone is a scam personally. But i know that I'm not going near it with a 10ft barge pole.

Also don't even get me started on how this is the type of service that you hear tech support scammers (billion dollar industry) are likely directly funding. I guarantee there's no sort of "background check". So when your poor grandma gets her pc nuked and her credit details stolen, you know who enables it

Relentess tech support scammers using Acefone for their criminal activities. Acefone.. the provider of choice for online scammers and criminals.

We joined Acefone around the end of September and were keen to get switched over to them as the service from our previous provider had fallen ever since they were bought out. Himanshu Grover told us the number porting would be finalised and we should be switched over to their system by October 5th.

They said the porting request had been accepted and that it should take around 7 days and should be completed on the 5th October. He told us that one of their technical experts will confirm the same over an email and connect with us for any further changes required.

I did not receive any communication from them on the 5th to say it had gone successfully or that there were any problems. I instead emailed them to find out what was happening and they said they always test the number first before confirming it is live to us. Himanshu assured me once again that once confirmed, we would be informed.

On the 11th I email Himanshu again for an update because again, no one had contacted us at all and it was very frustrating to keep having to chase for an update instead of just being kept in the loop.

He then told me the number was still in the transition phase and that our current provider had not yet released the number and said we should chase up with them ourselves. We did so and they said BT was the holder for the number and it was them we should call. BT said they had received NO REQUEST from Acefones.

Around this time, our phones stopped being able to receive calls and as a sales based company, this was extremely detrimental. I called Acefones to report the problem and they said it was probably PROBABLY due to the porting issue and asked me if i knew what was holding up the porting. I said i would expect their technical team to be able to answer that as it wasnt my field of expertise.

We eventually just emailed them to cancel the contract as they never got back to us about our phone problem despite promising to do so. Only after we told them that we wanted to leave did they connect us with technical support. They couldnt reach us anyway however as we couldnt receive their phone calls.

So after all that, they had the audacity to charge a 'cancellation fee as per the contract' even though they provided NONE of the services we paid for.

0/10 - do not use or believe the positive reviews as they get you to do that straight after onboarding
