The team at Acquiesce is truly amazing. The real hero’s of todays world. Every single member of staff brings something extra special with them.

I've just come home from my 28 day stay at acquiesce and wanted to thank everyone there from the bottom of my heart.

My addiction had got so bad i couldn't function or take anymore pain and tried several attempts to end my life.
Fortunately my daughter found me and researched and contacted acquiesce. From the minute i spoke to Danielle and Jad i felt hope for the first time in a long time.

I came into the facility afraid and utterly broken and full of fear and anxiety but left full of hope, courage and gratitude, you all saved my life.

The house is lovely the sessions from 121 therapy, group therapy and holistic therapies are all amazing and so beneficial and educational.

But the main part is the staff who are all so supportive, passionate professional and so so kind.

I'm now home and looking forward to an amazing future with my family and learning to love myself.

After 27 years living with major addiction problems I visited acquiesce for 28 days, it’s changed my life forever, there approach is unique , they show you 12 step recovery, smart recovery and CBT, so there’s a recovery plan for everyone however long you’ve suffered from addiction, they also show you therapeutic therapy like yoga, meditation acupuncture, the staff are amazing how they deliver treatment in a kind understanding way, you learn so much there and I would recommend anyone with addiction issues to choose acquiescence over any other rehab centre, it’s changed my life forever and could change yours

If you are reading this and feeling hopeless, lost, confused and completely fed up – I was the same prior to my 2-month treatment at Acquiesce. I had lost my life and hit rock bottom. This rehab has saved my life – it has given me the courage, strength, tools, knowledge and peace of mind to go forward with the confidence I have never experienced before. Acquiesce have a carefully curated program that addresses all areas of addiction – It leaves no stone unturned and never a question unanswered.
Thank you Tina for always being patient, kind, understanding and compassionate. There are very few people you meet in life that are kind to the core – Tina is one of them. A wonderful lady that has inspired me to take a similar career path in life.
Thank you Steve for showing me what successful recovery looks like. An absolute oracle of knowledge. One of the most relatable, patient and compassionate guys I have ever met. Steve has a fun approach to recovery that entices anyone to listen.
Thank you Adi for illuminating the room with your projective passion of recovery. For showing me that a beautiful life is now an option. Adi treats everyone with respect, care and compassion. I know now I can have a life as wonderful as Adi.
Thank you Ellie for being a real life example of ‘Salt of The Earth’. The sweetest, kindest, patient and most compassionate woman ever. Ellie has a way of soothing anyone in her presence. One day you’ll be a boss ass practitioner!
Thank you Carla for teaching me what true strength and bravery is. A beautiful woman inside and out. Carla’s recovery passion is so inspiring. I will always treasure your kind words of wisdom.
Thank you MargaretMary for being one of the most passionate recovering addicts I’ve ever met. Your quirky creative approach to life and happiness never failed to put a smile on my face, even on the more difficult days. A fashion sense like no other and a heart of gold.
And last but not least – Thank you Danielle for giving me the opportunity of a second chance at life.

To help other parents, I felt the need to give a review as a parent of a 26 daughter who suffered with alcohol addiction. Sadly, her alcohol addiction progressively became out of control and as a parent I tried everything to help and support her. My daughter tried addiction/anxiety counselling, a 28 day out-patient rehab program during lockdown, CBT Therapy etc …. Nothing seemed to work and in desperation, I felt my only option was for my daughter to attend a rehab as we sadly could not manager her anymore. She was majorly self-destroying herself, very broken and unable to function.
I did not have the luxury of time to visit any rehab clinics but looked on-line and came across Acquiesce. On reading the website and reviews I contacted Acquiesce and explained my situation. I spoke directly with Danielle who calmed me down and reassured me that they could help and explained that alcoholism was a disease but it could be successfully treated. Whilst we waited 2 weeks for the bed to come up, my daughter received calls from Tina, the Senior Practitioner who supported and guided my daughter whilst her place came up.
We drove my daughter to Acquiesce on the 10th February which was one of the hardest things I ever did. My daughter felt extremely nervous but on arrival we were welcomed by a few members of the team, Ady, Tina and Ste who immediately welcomed and reassured us that my daughter would be well looked after as she was extremely fragile and broken.
Thankfully my daughter immediately settled into the Acquiesce treatment programme and stayed 8 weeks. I am forever grateful to the Acquiesce team who provided my daughter with the knowledge and tools to function and achieve sobriety and deal with her anxiety issues. I am especially eternally grateful to Tina (my daughter’s allocated Practitioner) who is amazing at her job!!
As well as working with my daughter she also regularly contacted me with updates and also guided me through my daughter’s recovery and also our healing process as a family. I connected very well with Tina and found our conversations to be therapeutic and extremely beneficial for me. Tina is so passionate and excellent at her job! I am going to really miss our calls!! I also have to add, whilst Tina was on annual leave, I spoke with Ste, who was also very understanding, supportive and passionate in my daughter’s recovery.
My daughter is now back in the family home and is doing amazing well and is following the tools she has learnt from Acquiesce. She has made amazing friendships through Acquiesce and receives an amazing after care service and is regularly attending meetings which are so beneficial to her. I have also connected with other parents from Acquiesce which has also been an amazing help and support to me.
