The item I got did not look at all like the nice photo on the site. On top of that it was too small and made of the cheapest material possible. It's definitely a scam.

Interesting note: I ordered from both Adley New York and Harper & Wells Boston at the same time, thinking they were different companies. The orders came to me in the same package! Coincidence? I think not.

I looks like the Chinese have a new ploy: sell the same crap through legitimate-looking companies that appear to be located in the US, but they are not! The shipments all come direct from China.

I wish I had read reviews before I ordered. The garment itself is actually very cute, but there is not a single label on it, making me realize it was probably done in some sweat shop. their tech is good as the orders are conveniently and quickly accepted. When you want to reach out to customer service, you get a canned response and perhaps a reply a week later. I’m still waiting for wash and care instructions. I’m my bet is I shouldn’t wash it. It will disintegrate.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. It’s 100% scam. They will do everything they can to ensure you never get your money back EVEN when they claim to have given you a partial refund for your return. If you make the horrible mistake like I did, of buying the garbage they sell, don’t bother returning it cause you have to pay for that too and they’ll just stop responding to you after a while after you discover they’ve left it in customs and expect you to figure out how to pay the fees THEY owe to get it delivered to them. So you’ll then have wasted even more money on these jerks. Because they’ll also stop responding to you if you have a pic or 2 of the original return policy on the site (30 day return policy & money back guarantee-TOTAL BULLSHIT) and compare it with the one you had to fight for 2 weeks almost, just to get a goddamn email.

They’re selling garbage made out of non-clothing material (the shirt felt like one of those plastic mattress covers) not made to properly fit any variation of human person. It’s all AI and you’ll never even get into an argument that’s satisfying because you’ll never talk to an actual human.

Words cannot express how much I loathe Adley New York (in China, you know? The New York that’s in China?). I hope they go out of business soon, since their business is robbing people.

I ordered a cashmere sweater and they sent a cheap polyester sweater. When I asked to return it they said to ship it with tracking and I had to get it back to them within 2 weeks of it arriving at my house. The return address is in China so there's no way it will get back in the 2 weeks allowed. This is a company that falsely advertises it's products. My recommendation is buy from a company that you know for a fact is a US company. They are requiring that I pay for the shipping and tracking back to China. Once I do that if it does not arrive in the two weeks allowed, I will not get a refund so it does not make sense. I'll just take my loss and learn my lesson the hard way.

This company uses predatory practices. They misadvertise their products and supply cheap wares from China. If you try to return said product, they make you spend a ton of money to ship it back to China. Don't waste your money.

I ordered a men's cardigan sweater from them. Shame on me because what I received was a knockoff counterfeit of the sweater I ordered, which was not even close to what was pictured on their website. Even the button count was wrong! I reached out to the company, which turned out to be from China, stating that what they sent me was wrong and I requested a full refund including the shipping cost (the return policy clearly states that full refunds would be issued if an incorrect item was received). The replied twice offering first a 10% discount and then a 20% discount, which I refused each time. I finally had to report the sale to PayPal as counterfeit because my final response from the company refused to resolve the issue. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!!!

TERRIBLE QUALITY. Returns are impossible. They claim a 90 day return policy but require you to ship it back to China, which will cost three times the cost of the item itself.

Received my products and was very disappointed with the quality and design. Very cheap. I haven’t been able to return because the process is difficult and time allowed isn’t realistic. It took a very long time to receive my order and was expected to review, try and ship back but ran out of time. I’ll have to take a bath on the order🥲

I ordered a 2xl (I usually take large) "genuine leather" jacket. What finally arrived was a plastic one, too small to even get into, with all tags cut out. They ignored all attempts to contact afterward.

Don't buy anything from this company, they're a scam. Once you buy something, they tell you they'll send an email with the tracking number, but they never do, and you never receive the merchandise. You ask for a refund and they don't respond. I had to cancel my card because of these idiots.

Please do not order from this site. They are liars and you will lose your money. They need to shut down this site. Fraud!!!

Do not order from this fraudulent company. Fake reviews, fake pictures, fake quality of clothing. Filed a dispute with my bank right away.

Quality of the items is nothing like what the pictures look like! Ordered sweater and it looked nice and fuzzy in their pictures and it is some cheap material, nothing like what it looks like online. Ordered fuzzy coat and again, so cheap and thin. NOTHING like what was ordered!! Free returns, yeah after you pay $50 to have shipped back to China at your expense. I actually thought they were in the United States. Expensive lesson learned!

Rain jackets were not the size I ordered. Refund policy is absurd. I must pay S&H back to the UK or is it China? The cost of doing that is what I paid for the coats. Absolutely will never buy from this company again.

Do not buy from this company! They bait you with photos of quality products and switch with the cheapest most poorly made, uncomfortable product. The product photos do not represent what you will receive. I purchased Comfortable Cork Women's Slingback Sandals. These are the most poorly made shoes I have ever seen!

I ordered a waterproof winter jacket. The website says 30 day returns, thinking that the company is in New York. I noticed in the tracking that the item was shipped from China to California. The shipping time was OK. However I am disappointed because the sizing is definitely off. I wear Medium tops but always get a Large in a jacket to get adequate sleeve length. The sleeves on the Adley jacket are much too short. When I raise my arm the sleeves go up my forearm.
Also there is no care label sewn inside the jacket. No care instructions. The jacket is very wrinkled from shipping but don't know if I can wash/dry it safely. Another complaint is that the jacket pockets are so shallow I would not want to carry anything important in them. They are open to the side without a flap or zipper. The jacket also has multiple loose threads hanging off it, a sign of poor workmanship. Finally the jacket consists of a synthetic fleece liner and a thin nylon or other synthetic shell. It is supposed to be waterproof. It seems flimsy for the price I paid.
I have requested instructions for a return so time will tell if that is possible or not. I would not recommend using this website.
I also ordered a midi, supposedly wool, skirt which is OK and I will keep it. However it, too, is lacking any kind of care label which is annoying.
Not recommended, buyer beware.

I received a raincoat after a long delay, and it didn’t fit. I contacted the company about getting a return, and was told they couldn’t do that, but wanted to find a solution that would “truly satisfy” me.
Their “solution” was for me to complete payment of the initial cost, which was done at the time of order.
And, for their “generosity”, they only wanted €14 for shipping a replacement.
Since the coat I received was poorly made and had bad proportions (body too big, sleeves too short), I have no use for this item.
I’m disgusted with this company and wish I’d read the reviews first. Please take this as a warning.
