We purchased roof racks in early July , they charged our visa and we have not heard anything since . We have called every phone number, emailed, used the whats app as they suggested and we have been totally ghosted. We will be pursuing further with our bank. Do NOT purchase anything from this company!

Adventure Outdoor is the best place to shop for roof racks! Uzzi and the entire team go above and beyond to make sure you find exactly what you need. Their service is exceptional, and they take great care in everything they do. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for new, used, or rental gear. Their prices offer excellent value, and from my research, they’re the best-priced option in Metro Vancouver. I just purchased a new ski box and ski rack and couldn’t be happier with my experience.

AO Tent Purchase
Uzzi is great to deal with. He is a no pressure guy and is very transparent throughout the buying process. I bought the camp-in aluminum AO pop up tent and it has been amazing. I’ve taken it on two trips down dusty logging roads. The seal was perfect and nothing was dusty upon arrival. The mattress is extremely comfortable and the perfect size - it slept my wife and I and could have slept our child as well. The zippers are high quality and the rain proofing is quality. The only downside to the pop up tent is the support bars on the inside have no padding around them and the skirt around the base sometimes lifts off (easily puts back on). All in all it is a fantasist tent and an amazing buying experience. This is a quality product and I would go back to Uzzi for more outdoor products.

Hello Michael, thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. We are sad to hear that your experience has not been up to your expectations.
We scoured our systems to pull up your order, and we did not notice any record of it by your name here. This indicates to us that:
1. You did not place an order on the box you were interested in.
2. Have an alias account and would prefer to remain anonymous.
3. You're one of our competitors looking to ruin our image. In which case, keep in mind karma moving forward.
In either of the above 3 instances, this is an unfair review, given that you could have at any point purchased the box through our easy-to-use online store, or requested a quote to be paid. None of which we have records for. We understand that you're frustrated you did not end up with the used box you were interested in, however there's no holds for any of our items without payment first. This is the industry standard by 99% of retail stores, including our business who will not hold items without payment first.
There’s no bait and switch here, we have a highly transparent business model and practice, with utmost ethical standards and practices. In fact we are revered as one of the most honest retail store of our competitors. I believe you have misunderstood our business model, allow me to clarify:
1. You can simply place an order on any items in stock at any time to secure it.
2. We have a pre order system in place, where we accept payment prior to sourcing your item of choice if it is not in stock. Yes, the item is not in stock in this case which is communicated very clearly across all of our channels.
3. We have a deposit system in place, where we accept non-refundable deposits to put items on hold for those interested in gaining more information about the items so that it does not sell in the meantime by another interested buyer.
4. All of our items are first come, first serve, as is with 99%+ retail stores. Again, we do not hold any items without payment.
We cannot be held responsible for you not securing the items using the 3 methods mentioned above, and it is completely unfair to mention otherwise. We recommend moving forward to secure items as soon as you have made a decision, otherwise you cannot expect any business to hold items for you unless you pay for it or are explicitly told otherwise that they will.
Although it seems you are a real person and not a bot, we noticed that all of your reviews online are only 1 star reviews, we hope you also leave 5 star reviews as well to help businesses grow who have met your expectations in the past vs. try to ruin reputation of small business looking to make an honest living and support the community.
We appreciate you taking the time to review us, and we sincerely hope that you reconsider removing this unfair review as your experience was largely caused as a result of your inaction to place your order or place a deposit. Pre-orders are also a great way to go. We welcome you to give us another try using the methods outlined above to actually experience what we do here, honestly and transparently as always. Awesome cargo Management System
For a while, I've been trying to figure out how I could fit both a cargo box and a cargo basket on top of my SUV. It was hard trying to look at online measurements of different products and determine how they would actually fit without being able to physically see them. Uzzi at Adventure Outdoors was super helpful. He showed me a bunch of different options and helped me load them up on the roof to see how they compared and fit. I'm super happy with both the look and function of my new rooftop cargo system. I Would definitely recommend Adventure Outdoors to anyone looking for any sort of outdoor adventure gear for their vehicle. And all around stress free experience and excellent customer service!
