Good remedy
I ordered one Juki machine for my mum's birthday. When it arrived, the machine was installed with a different motor from what was shown on the website. Indeed, we ordered a slightly more expensive model to avoid having exactly that motor. When I called, the customer service person was nice but wanted me to take the machine back for an exchange and said AE has the right to choose whatever motor for the machine and that motor is newer and better than the one we prefer. I have no doubt about the quality of the motor but my mum prefers to have the traditional motor she's accustomed to using. After discussion, they agreed to deliver another machine with our preferred motor for an exchange at their own cost. During the next delivery, their staff, John, came in person to ensure everything went alright. All in all, it was an unfortunate incident at first but AE solved it well at last.

Thank you for leaving this review! We are constantly updating our website, and some of the images used are placeholders from Juki's original product images rather than our own photos. Please be assured that we have now updated this product image. The motor we originally provided with the machine was a modern servo motor, which is usually considered an upgrade from the traditional belt driven motor as it is more efficient and doesn't require a belt to be replaced periodically. However, once you explained that your Mum wanted the more traditional style of motor, we were able to source an older style version - we hope she is now happy with her machine and apologise for the initial confusion!

Industrial sewing machine thread
