When Will Ramsay established the Affordable Art Fair in 1999, his vision was to create a relaxed and welcoming environment in which art-lovers could browse and buy 1000s of original contemporary paintings, sculptures, photographs and prints.
Fast-forward 22 years and Will’s ethos still holds true; our fairs around the world welcome thousands of visitors, who can take their pick from a mix of local, national and international galleries showcasing a huge array of artworks by established artists and rising stars, all priced under £7,500/€7,500/$10,000.
We hold fairs in London, New York, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Brussels, Stockholm, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne. Each unique fair is the ideal day out with family and friends, filled with a creative smorgasbord of artist performances, innovative talks and tours, hands-on workshops, live music and irresistible restaurants and bars.
In total over 2.8 million people have visited an Affordable Art Fair, and we have helped a staggering 538,000 artworks find happy new homes.

I loved being able to support a young artist - and although I had not seen the work in person due to the current circumstances , it arrived today beautifully packaged and I am absolutely delighted with it . Very OVERPRICED, Do NOT buy from this site
Although customer service response is prompt, it feels that I am talking to a brick wall with their standard scripted replies and buying from this site was not a pleasant experience. After my purchase, I found that the pieces I bought and others that I was looking to buy are very overpriced (vs other sites and vendors). Whilst the site gives a platform for artists, it is far better to approach the artists and buy art directly from them if that is available. The shipping costs were extortionate and were not mentioned AT ALL at the browsing stage (over 100 pounds for 3 watercolour paintings, unframed, sent in a cardboard tube). Furthermore, the price (excluding shipping) was 80% more over what the artist would charge.
To add to the confusion, part of my order was cancelled without any notification. Communication on that front could be better.
I would whole-heartedly recommend *NOT* to buy from this site.

The print we bought was very good quality, exactly the same colour and size we had viewed online.
It came rolled in a cardboard box tube, carefully secured and packed at each end with tissue to stop any movement.
Considering it came via Royal Mail and not a Courier as stated, I thought £12 p/p was quite costly, as I didn’t need to sign for it either. However it was nicely packed as explained.
An excellent purchase.

I bought a painting from these shysters recently only for them not to honour the sale because they said the price was incorrect. They have more get out clauses in the terms and conditions than you can believe. Avoid.

I tried to order an artwork via this website. After some delay they told me that the artist was away. They then gave me a date when he would be back. Having followed up again on the date they gave me, I still haven't heard back from them.

Excellent! Had problems initially paying online but someone came back to me and issue resolved itself. Contact from AAF was great and the two galleries delivered the paintings quickly.
