The air conditioning unit arrived promptly, but the box appeared to have been opened before delivery and was damaged in several places. The damage extended through the protective polystyrene packaging.

I contacted the company to arrange a return. Communication was inconsistent — I often sent multiple emails before receiving a response. They did arrange a collection, but I had to follow up repeatedly to find out when this would happen.

The unit was collected almost three weeks ago, but my refund has still not been processed. Initially, the company stated they had not received the return, even though they had arranged the collection. Fortunately, I had taken photographs of the DPD van at the time of collection and was able to obtain proof of delivery from DPD directly.

Since providing that proof, my emails requesting an update have gone unanswered. Phone calls go to voicemail, and the mailbox is full, so no message can be left.

I have now had to request a chargeback through my credit card provider to recover my payment.

Based on my experience, I would absolutely not purchase from this company again.

Bought an air con unit recently - we got such good customer service and support when they had stock issues and ended up with a brilliant air con unit - it’s now so much easier for my young children to sleep when it gets hot and we all function better because of it - so worth it! Thank you!

Steve was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. The installation was problem free, the engineers arrived on time, did a good job and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Overall we're very pleased with our aircon (and nice and cool). We wouldn't hesitate to use Aircare Appliances again and would recommend to family and friends.

I have purchased two well priced items from AirCaire, one during the recent UK heatwave.

Initially, the communication was lacking and I was concerned as I had ordered through a third party site. I couldn’t get through to AirCaire and thought the worse. However, out of the blue, the item turned up, well packaged.

A week later a personal email apology for the delay followed along with an explanation of how AirCaire has been inundated with orders during the UK’s extremely hot weather. Extra staff have been taken on by the company and the owners have been working hard.

With all the online scams, it’s easy to jump to conclusions and not consider what could actually be causing an issue for a supplier.

AirCaire’s priducts are very good quality and their pricing competitive. Support a local company.

Excellent service from all at Aircare Appliances. We ordered during a heatwave and aircare lived up to their word and the Meaco 10000 was delivered as arranged. We have family members with health issues and we cannot thank Aircare Appliances enough for making their life a lot more comfortable. Best wishes to all.

I ordered a 12000 BTU portable air conditioning unit on Tuesday 8 July & Steve from sales (& indeed their website states) that delivery will be made in 1-3 working days & that you will receive a delivery estimate upon order confirmation. I should have read the other reviews first - I have phoned multiple times - there are plenty of people on reception to take a message & “pass it on” but no one calls back, you cannot speak to their non-existent “customer service team” & they promise that they will respond to emails in 24 hours. Still heard nothing. Do not order from this company they are not to be trusted.

Ordered Olimpia Splendid Unico Easy S1 HP 2.0kW All-in-One Air Conditioning Unit on Saturday 12th July, and got an order confirmation message.

Today I get told actually they have to cancel and refund the item, or I have to upgrade to the newer model.
I was also informed what I ordered is actually not in stock on their website, despite the fact even as I write this review anyone can search and see that they do in fact show as in stock.

So now, instead of having the item delivered in the next few days I will have to begin my search again but will definitely not be using Aircare Appliances again.

Appalling company. Ordered A/C on 1st July and paid extra for express delivery (1 to 3 days, Ha, yeah right). Order status shows as "on its way". No date of expected delivery, no courier tracking. On its way where? 'cos it sure as hell ain't on its way to me. Live chat is worse than useless. Emails are ignored. Phone them and receptionist will say someone will call back. Nobody does. 4 phone calls made, none received. Can’t get a refund, since nobody will speak to me. Will have to go CC chargeback. Then they have the gall to ask for a review. Well, here you go, here’s my review.

I have been calling, emailing and cannot get a single response from customer service - is this company real? Why won’t anyone respond to any communication over a two week period. Not a single phone extension works - sales/accounts/customer services. Avoid this company at all costs.

My return has still not been collected, nor can I get any communication from the team. DPD were given the wrong pick up address so I have it in my house for another week. I can't believe the level of customer service can be this bad. I need a response today.

Contacted Aircare before purchasing because I had a challenging install. Communication was great with the company and I had very quickly had two video calls with the company and the installers to evaluate the install. That gave me high confidence when placing the order. Installation was slightly delayed due to issues outside the companies control, but again communication was great and from order to install took only a month.
The installers were very professional, dealt well with the challenging install and I am very pleased with the job they did.
Very happy customer, would strongly recommend.

I had to present an issue which was making me anxious and embarrassed. I spoke to a man called Simon. He was so kind and understanding and sorted out my problem. He suggested the Dehumidifier that would suit me. In fact he took away my anxiety which had been plaguing me for some time! If only all the people who answered business phones were like Simon. What a man! Thank you Simon very much!

Great advice over the phone to identity the correct product, placed order online and was delivered in a timely fashion, would recommend.

Very quick efficient company. The DD128 desiccant dehumidifier is a great machine. Easy to use and does a good the job week for drying clothes and takes moisture out of the room. Special feature is the Louvre with three settings which is essential for drying and atmosphere. Wonder why so few companies include this in their design.

Incorrect appliance sent. No resolution after 2.5 weeks despite repeated calls, emails etc.

Very pleased with product, service and delivery.
