We’re really sorry to hear about your experience, and we apologize for the frustrating out-of-box setup. That’s definitely not the first impression we want anyone to have.
The AirVape Royal Edition is ready to use after charging, and most of the small pieces included in the box are accessories (such as screens and cleaning tools) rather than parts that must be installed before first use. That said, the instructions should absolutely make this clearer.

If the QR code in your box didn’t work, we sincerely apologize for that — we’re currently updating some of the printed materials to prevent this issue.
