This service was actually pretty good until about a week ago, when they released their "new script to video with AI" help. Sadly, their AI bot "AVA" (probably an acronym for "All Videos Awful") only gets it right about 50% of the time. Half of the videos I gave AVA, generated no sound or video and cost three times the credits I would spend doing my own stuff.
I had to try Ava because the quality of the videos being generated for me during the last week or so is JUST APPALLING. Instead of waves washing over the shore, or people riding on a clipper ship, there are now just still images of waves or clipper ships. PLUS, the bots have decided to completely ignore my uploaded character reference photos and are having a jolly old time populating my videos with random, badly drawn, cartoonish characters who have absolutely nothing to do with the script or the plot. AND they added these "people" to my character reference folder 😱! I suspect this terribleness is a plot so that clients will choose Ava's help. And they will, until they discover that Ava is completely incompetent. Not Artificial Intelligence, but Artificial Idiot.
I can't use this service anymore. But that's okay because I doubt it's going to be around much longer.

The finished product is really good and it's fairly easy to navigate but the AI messed up a few times which I believe is pretty typical with these types of programs. The GOOD NEWS is the company REFUNDED credits to me to make up for the mishaps so I could finish the project. I really appreciate it. I'd recommend this program to musicians wanting a great music video of their songs.

Initially, I left a one-star review, but I decided to give it another shot. This platform is quite expensive for what it is, no question about it. If you want your music videos to look absolutely realistic, then this platform isn't for you.
You have to think thrice before giving the AI the prompt if you want to get what you expect. And it may still get it wrong, and every correction costs credits. However, I understand AI isn't cheap, and it isn't quite there yet. Maybe in a couple of years it will be a lot better. Will see.

I have tried several AI video generators and found Aivideo was one of the best out there and easy to understand, but with a 4 min video I was doing - my credits run out very quickly - as if you find a mistake and they fix it - they still charge you - that's a little bit unfair - I used around 6,000 credits for one video- very expensive - my advice, keep your video's short and hopefully they do not make a mistake

Veel te duur voor wat het beloofd of doet. Bij opzegging/annuleren van abonnement ben je dezelfde dag ál je credits kwijt (ook je geld ben je kwijt zonder enige terugbetaling of tegemoetkoming) en dus kan je niets meer doen tenzij je opnieuw een abonnement koopt. Ik ervaar dit als oplichterij.

I tried aivideo to make ONE single video. Before the video was finished all the credits were gone. Tried to contact this "james" both on discord and by email to get my money back, but never got a response. Can't recommend this "service" to anyone. Lousy and amateurish

I uploaded my music, two characters, nice description, it has been generating for 12 hours now for a four minute video? I can’t get answers if this time is normal. When I play the video during generation the song plays completion with only still photos. No si video. Is the generation time normal? I don’t know.

First off, it gives you free credits to make a short video to sample their site. But you can't see the video you created unless you upgrade. Pointless to even try. Secondly the lip sync is soooo bad. It doesn't even come close to matching up. And lastly they added main characters to my video that I did not ask for. And it's expensive as hell. Do not recommend to anyone.

Another ai video generator that sucks as well specifically putting in the description it doesn’t follow what you say graphics are half way decent the lip sync sucks probably the worst out of all I have tried and it’s way to expensive for the carp videos you get and they still haven’t given me my money back or even in web credits for that matter and they aren’t reply back to any of my emails definitely the one of the worst so far that I have tried

This is the reason people want to ensure they will get the quality they are paying for before buying an AI subscription. Everything was generated successfully and quickly before I subscribed. Immediately after subscribing, everything changed. I regret wasting my money.

It's a great AI generator I like their music video generator, where you can do everything, you want or need inside of it. I wish on music video generator I could add tags or names on my uploaded characters so that I could just tag them while doing prompt for example "@ John jump off the train and lands beside @homeless guy" and add products that I want to appear and could tag it too. But overall it's really great.

should have read the review, paid 20 to try out but it generates absolute rubbish, worst ai tool ever used

Given up on this company, trying to get a straight answer out of them is impossible.Waiting times for a reply are quite frankly a joke, that is if you get a reply ! ...the 1 star reviews should be enough of a red flag but thought i would email "James" but guess what he didn't reply...i am not sure if James actually exists or just another chat bot but plenty of other companies out there with excellent support like Neural Frames.Avoid Aivideo.

They let you create 5 sec videos with your free trial, and after you pay for a subscription you get nothing at all!! just a prompt saying that your video vill be ready in 8-9 minutes since last week (every time you ask for the status), this is a complete scam!!!

De eerste video's lukken, met moeite. Daarna, na een tweetal weken, begint de miserie, en lukt er niks meer. En de helpdesk is zoals het programma zelf; eerst krijg je antwoord, daarna NIKS MEER. En je bent jouw geld kwijt! En daar kun je niks aan doen.
Dus, AI VIDEO: SCAM!

Can't upload music, cannot create simple video from text prompts without major errors, the AI assistant thinks you can use a voice over created from text to use as a placeholder but how do you match the phrasing? I tried to do that the images couldn't be placed, the voiceover couldn't be placed, the video couldn't be rendered. It's not ready to be a paid service.

LATER EDIT: They responded positive to my request earlier, so it is possible that the first reply to my request was indeed automated answer. Problem solved, I change my review, 5 star for aivideo.com .

No subscription email, renewal confirmation or warning, no mail invoice...no info! Nothing like this! No sign to remind you that maybe they take a subscription monthly. I tried to generate a video in january, was not satisfied, then I totally forgot about ever trying. Today I noticed an ammount of money gone to "aivideo.com", that I didn't know about. I looked in the bank and found out they kept withdrawing money since february. Not even one single email during all these 6 months, not one invoice, one reminder ...nothing! I wrote to request a refund based on a dark pattern billing skill...such as a deceptive design that leads users into subscriptions without proper informed consent or proper disclosure, and sometimes without any transparent way to opt out. Actually aivideo.com has an opt-out tool on their website...but what use if you are not conscious that your subscription keeps on pourring.

I wrote earlier to ask for a refund, since I have just tried for maybe 20 minutes to generate a video, in january...then I never ever entered again until today. The response is like an automated one, it says "we have a cancel option on the website. Yes, aivideo.com! You have! But also you are deceiptful in your approach, you profit of the ones that forget they used your free trial. And you keep your fingers crossed they discover as late as possible.

If you are transparent, send monthly invoice on the mail, send a confirmation of renewal before, or a succesful renewal afterwards. Send any email to you subscriber so that he sees the subscription is active.

They make cool videos but you gotta be careful with the reset or replacement of you monthly credits.i I was charged $99 on 7/4 for credits I paid for on 6/4 when I upgraded and was given 12k extra credits for upgrading. I never used all those credits it was like 20 something thousands credits. But customer support says i was given 12k replacement or reset (their definition) credits on 7/4 which would have put me back over 20k credits. So I gotta refund and canceled my subscription

They charged me credits to correct mistakes they acknowledged were theirs.

I loved how you can do everything in one platform. the way you can manage your assets/styles/characters is great also
