They changed the pizza

My go to for Tuesday dinner has always been Hawaiian Pizza Slices, because it's cheaper than Mccain's, Had it tonight and they changed it, pizza base is floury, no more cheese stretch, a lack of tomato paste and the pineapple tasted like some sort of chemical. Have officially decided it's better to pay two more dollars for the McCain quality, thanks for nothing Aldi. You've lost my business.

This happened to me at an Aldi store in Aspe, Valenciana, Spain. A product which cost €4.35 scanned as €43.50.
I was totally taken aback as the total bill came to much more than I had anticipated. Upon returning home and checking the receipt I realised what had happened.
However the reaction of store manager was less than amicable. All that he could offer was an apology and an advice that I should have checked. Never mind the extra trip, never mind I had paid in Au$, simply a refund given.
That has put me off shopping at Aldi anywhere.

Staff don’t treat others with dignity.

Wow your staff at Northland have gotten progressively more rude over the last few months and it’s starting to create problems with customers. Nearly every time I’m in there’s an agro customer that’s having a rant because they felt disrespected by the staff members handling of a situation and the staff seem to actually escalate easily handled issues in some sort of power trip? It doesn’t create for a safe environment and it’s incredibly immature, like you’ve hired a bunch of down and out people that now have an ego problem with the ridiculously small amount of power they’re given…… it’s very concerning to see someone in their 20s distressing an elderly customer over a very small issue.

One of your staff actually tried to reject cash today because she couldn’t be bothered working out change and then had to have another staff member come over and do it for her. She’s worked there at least 10 month now and couldn’t figure out $1.25 owing while treating my like an inconvenience.

Starting to doubt if the small price savings made are worth the horrible experience it seems to be to shop here.

customers are guilty until proven otherwise

ALDI stores have their own bag check policy which is inconvenient to honest customers. They are not allowing to use their basket to be taken to car boot to load into car making the situation worse. This is hitlerism, they should pack and go back, and Australians should support other stores like coles ,woolworths ,foodland ect

Quality is not there for fresh foods

Quality of pre-packaged fruit and vegetables is generally just not as good as the other supermarkets. I find that with what you have to throw out, what looks like competitive pricing, quickly becomes significantly more expensive than the better quality of their competitors. It is very interesting that a couple of years ago, Aldi ran a marketing campaign showing how they had reformed and replaced the whole fridge of fruit and vegetables for some "shopper" and vowed to do better. They honestly have not become better. Great for non-perishables but not for meat or fresh foods.

I was abused by a racist customer who…

I was abused by a racist customer who refused to let me put my goods to be checked out so I went to another counter. This man proceeded to abuse me and was laughing and berating me to the checkout girl. When I told him to stop or I would call security, little was done to help me. The man stood outside waiting for me to come out. As I was leaving the checkout girl informed me I wrong. How dreadful was that. When I called the manager he didn't seem to concerned that one of his staff would abuse me and did little to reassure me or realise that I was dealing with a lunatic customer. Bad service bad training of staff. Racist store.

Unfortunately without SBS on all channels
Sometimes there is a picture, sometimes a very bad one, but usually a farmer screen with the message. that only Radiosingnal is available.
The old TV or the one in the bedroom don't have the problem.
So I called the customer service to find out that the software for receiving SBS has not been installed.
Will the software be updated via update?
After all, international messages are sent in the morning.
Probably not.

Fortunately, I didn't buy a car there.
Maybe gas stations or roads are closed for me.

ALDI Runaway Bay

ALDI Runaway Bay, poor service

Very disorganised at the registers and not very helpful when you ask to speak to someone. Staff appeared that they coudn't care about your bad experinece.

If you open a new register, please consider customers who are already waiting!

As i scan all our purchases for Nielsen IQ . Have noticed more incorrect pricing from Aldi . Normally i don't worry if the amount is small , but there has been a lot of it lately .

All I want to do is replace a damaged Sim card

All I want to do is replace a damaged sim in my mobile phone somethink so simple , I bought a new sim from Aldi but they do not want to activate it for some reason ?? I have spoken to their help line but they keep saying it must be referred to their management team ,This has been ongoing for to long I NEED my phone as I have a medical problem,
( ps ) I have been with Aldi mobile for many years also been a regular customer and been happy with their service up untill know.

Why are there no self serve checkouts

Why are there no self serve checkouts? I prefer to bag my items as I go and the servers at Aldi are always rude and most days I really don’t want the unnecessary interaction with someone I don’t want to talk to especially when they’re rude. Pretty much everywhere has self serve checkouts now and it’s seems strange Aldi doesn’t and they are so far behind. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but I’m quite bothered by this as it is causing me to not shop at Aldi anymore.

Now a computer stops self-service operations. Until bag check, grocery check, payment check. I was checked 4 times throughout purchase. A customer should feel welcomed throughout shopping experience, not feel like a criminal.

I bought Aldi honey cashews and found…

I bought Aldi honey cashews and found hidden under the honey coating the nuts were full of bugs trapped by the coating or the nuts were blemished with rotten nuts. Perchased Aldi Dairy Fine fruit and nut chocolate it was mouldy. Very disappointing Aldi.

its an awesome store with cheap products that are tasting way better than Coles, Woolworths and drakes etc. the people serving are kind friendly and very understanding! however if you want more people to go there i reckon you should add online orders! if there where online orders we would buy way more than we already do and we are very busy so an online order would be very useful! so i hope to see online ordering soon!

Merchandiser poor handling of vegetables

I went to Aldi Banksia Grove, WA and the merchandiser on Saturday was working in the Veg section. He threw the avocados and cucumbers onto the shelve from a distance. The cucumber I bought, I found bruised when I got home. Didn’t look like it when I bought it, so thought it was ok. Absolutely no reason to handle vegetables in such a way. Customers are after quality and when paying any price, I am after quality products. Most likely want the persons merchandising any product to treat it with respect. Thank you. Susanna

product under 3 year warranty - proving impossible to claim repairs or refund

product under 3 year warranty, wish to make a claim. documentation says to contact manufacturer, the email address responds in german, the 1800# is voice response in german, then english then they hang up. the aldi website is completly unhelpful with no email or phone contact possible. one could easily gain the impression that they do not stand by product warranties.
21/4/2023 update after a considerable amount of nonsense, was advised by Aldi Sydney to return to a store for a refund. Done, so satified with the outcome, however will certainly not buy anything with a warranty from Aldi again.
