Very disappointing experience at ALDI Box Hill , NSW Every time I shop here, the self-checkout area is closed, and customers are forced to wait in long queues. When asked, staff say it’s “not busy... Ver más

I have noticed that alot of prices at aldi have risen higher than woolworths, Coles, iga, and fresh and save
One thing I have noticed that has risen significantly is the pet food prices, aldis 1.2kg tins of dog food has risen to the same price as pal dog food tins from $2.70 per tin to $3.49! I can buy chum dog food at the same price and is a much better food grade for your dogs, aldi is slowly using my business
Every thing from dairy to meat has risen.
To be honest my shopping cost me less to buy at other supermarkets with better quality products
Many customers have complained to myself while I have been shopping at aldi about food quality and prices
Very disappointed in aldi to which I personally am not going to shop with them any longer.
Aldi - Bad, Different
At the Hawthorn, SA Aldi, I was greeted by the checkout operator who immediately asked me if he could look inside my backpack. Now, my backpack is actually my handbag which is smaller than an A4 piece of paper, and he would only have the right to look inside my small handbag if he was accusing me of stealing something. I reluctantly opened my handbag for him but he didn't say thank you nor did he apologise. Saving a few dollars at Aldi is not worth it if you are accused of stealing by the checkout operator.
Meat good, Fruit and Veg NOT
The meat at Aldi is really good which makes it odd that their fruit and veg is so second rate. On numerous occasions I've purchased fruit and veg and instantly been sorry that I did. The prices are similar to Coles/Woolies but the quality is sadly lacking 80% of the time. Latest example is a sealed bag of potatoes we had to peel on Xmas morning, there was the equivalent of around 4 potatoes thrown away due to having to cut out the rotten bits
Bought lemons and got them home sliced…
Bought lemons and got them home sliced them and they were bad inside
Hard for lemons to be rotten inside so how long does Aldi at young NSW keep the vegetables refrigerated for, before putting them on the shelf to sell
Sick of paying money for rotten food that goes in the bin
Packet Salad well dead by use by date
Disappointed
Great customer service.
But never buy Blackberries the Y.V. Fresh as they have small, black spiders amongst them.
Not a very good selling product.

Have gone downhill this decade and now with the removal of customer service phone lines have now cost them another customer.
I have been victimized and…
I have been victimized and discriminated by ALDI.
I made a complaint to head office but no response.
Last time I attended the store in Coburg North.
Staff became rude and agersive and asalted me. They made a false police report.
I have a Dutch heritage and like there products.
Unfortunately staff are vindictive and vilance towards my person.
I now only Shop at Cole's.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
After completing the difference in price. Coles is about 10 % more.
Staff are friendly and professional.
worst customer service.
worst customer service.. this time something new issue .. During checkout I was asked to show the receipt for the item in the trolley which I bought some other shop.. which I did not had.. but when I asked " Do you sell this item in this store? " .. the answer was No... then why the f.. you waste check my receipt... he wasted 7 minutes for useless argument... what a crap ... all the customers waiting in the line were furious too... such a shame.. give some training on customer care.. I am not returning ever
Great for the essentials
Overall good products. Service is fast but no frills. Pretty much my first choice when getting the essentials. I really like their 1yr mobile plans.
False advertising.
In-house brand "Urban Eats" tom yum noodle bowl has a picture on the box of a dish filled with many prawns. The satchet inside contains three. THREE prawns.
ALDI are liars.
Nasty checkout girl
The girl at the checkout asked me how my day went. I said terrible because I’d had to have my cat put to sleep and she laughed. When I told her my situation was nothing to laugh about, she then told me not to be rude. She just got huffy and humiliated me further by calling out loud, “Can someone come and serve this customer “, then she stormed off and left me there for someone to come serve me. I told the next girl what happened and she said, “She probably wasn’t expecting you to say that “. Oh please, what a cop out. Then she said , “There’s nothing I can do about it”. As I was gathering my groceries she could see how pissed off I was, so she gave me a weak apology. I went home in tears. I have put an online complaint directly to Aldi.
ALDI mobile sim card starter pack rip-off!
ALDI mobile sim card starter pack rip-off!
I purchased a $25 ALDI mobile starter pack and had issues with activation. The next day I took the sim card back to the Darlinghurst store for a refund and the manager said, "I cannot give you a refund, this is like returning a gift card that has already been used!"
I explained to the manager that his analogy was wrong, the sim card has not been used, has not been activated, is not in my phone, it is in my hand waiting for a refund.
The manager just shrugged his shoulders and said that he felt sorry for me and that there was nothing he could do.
I was paid the ubiquitous customer lip service and was cheated out of $25.
Epilogue
Since my ordeal Aldi never once tried to contact me, which appears to show the almighty dollar is far more important to them than bad publicity.

Why is Aldi Vintage tasty cheese very bland and tasteless
We used to buy it numerous times but the last couple of months has no flavour.
Will be buying a different brand in future
Thanks Aldi

No split payments for cards
Aldi is the only store I’ve ever heard of that doesn’t allow split payments using 2 cards. After doing a full shop with 2 kids in tow get to the checkout to get told they don’t do that. There is no signage anywhere to state that.
This morning I went to Aldi
This morning I went to Aldi, put through my groceries then realised my phone was missing with my cards and money in it, I had put it down somewhere in the store, with out saying I panicked, next thing the cashier said this man has just paid for my groceries $160 worth, I just wanted to cry, there are still some wonderful people in this world.
I when went looking for my phone, a lady asked me was I looking for a phone, must have been on my face that I was panicking. She pointed out a man who had picked it up and was looking for me. After thanking him I went back to the checkout and the man was still there, I asked that we cancel his payment, his said that was not necessary, so I asked could I pay for his groceries, his answer was NO, have an early Christmas present. What a wonderful man.
Where is the customer care Aldi ?
Two years ago my wife went into Aldi. She failed to notice a wet floor sign laying flat on the floor. She trod on it, it skidded backwards and she took a nasty fall injuring her left leg and ankle. Staff were quick to help her into a chair and complete an accident report. She went to hospital, had xrays, soft tissue damage was the outcome. Two years later she is still suffering from the accident. She is unable to walk long distances, has to wear a compression stocking and have regular physio treatments. Her quality of life has been significantly affected and she can no longer enjoy walks along the beach or through parks and gardens. So far we have spent in excess of $3000 on medical bills. We asked Aldi for help to cover the cost of those treatments, no damages or anything else, just the medical. Aldi did not want to know. Their CCTV showed a previous customer knocking the sign over with her trolley. They say that according to law they are allowed 20 minutes to rectify such a situation, the sign was knocked over just a few minutes before the accident so they have no legal liability. So, no sympathy, no compassion, no moral liability and a demonstrable lack of customer care. My wife was not at fault, she did not intend tripping on a sign knocked over by someone else. She chose to shop in Aldi and because of that she is still suffering the consequences, and Aldi apparently could not care less. Very disappointed .
Unhappy butter chicken customer
Ive always bought the butter chicken 800g the last few weeks have noticed less chicken more sauce very cunning ALDI what's going on not a happy customer 😡
Although Aldi stores have relatively…
Although Aldi stores have relatively good and cheap products, I don't know why they don't have security to check people's bags like most stores. And this is really unfortunate
