I have never been quite so heartbroken about a product I ordered online. It was broken and tarnished within a week. Watching the faces of my loved ones rot away in a locket I had to apply for a payment plan to buy truly crushed my spirit. Do not use; save yourselves!

Don't learn the hard way!
Incorrect Website Listing:
I ordered a locket where the detail page image didn't match the listing page image. I requested in the Notes field that the company confirm the product I was getting prior to shipment. No one ever did so.
Questionable Practices:
- I placed my order on a Saturday night and called customer service on Sunday. I spoke with an associate to state I waned to cancel my order. She confirmed that it would be cancelled and that I'd receive an email in 30 minutes to 2 hours. I spoke with customer service after 3 hours with no email, and they told me it could not be cancelled because it had shipped. At the time of the call, my order status said "In Process." AFTER that conversation, they changed my order status to "shipped."
-I kept emailing customer service and they would not directly address my concerns and I kept getting conflicting statements.
-The last message I received stated that I should wait until I receive the item because there was nothing they can do.
- There is another website called Pictures on Gold that is an exact copy of the Alivia and Danny website. Also, my Paypal transaction showed the company as Pictures on Gold.
POOR ITEM QUALITY:
When I did receive the item, it was surprising how horrible quality it was! There were scratches all over the front and back, the hinge was bent, and the laser-photos I'd paid extra for weren't legible at all. For $345 this looked like it came from the Dollar Store.
Even the Paypal associate that I submitted the product photo said "there is no way this is real or new' and was taken aback.
Since my item was custom, it also prohibited me from getting a refund and I did NOT want a store credit.
PAYMENT DISPUTE
Instead of going back to Alivia and Danny customer service, I filed a case through Paypal and they managed to get the company to issue me a refund pending receipt of my returned item. They've now received my item and I am waiting on the refund.
This jewelry felt overpriced to begin with but I thought it would be worth it for a quality piece. This isn't even worth $20! Save your money and find a better alternative - it is such a headache trying to get your money back.

I am filing this review/complaint to warn other consumers about my experience with AliviaDanny.com. Based on my experience, this company engages in unacceptable and deceptive business practices.
I paid $146.20 for a custom engraved religious necklace for my daughter’s Confirmation. This was supposed to be a meaningful keepsake. What I received was a flimsy, poor-quality piece of jewelry that looked nothing like the premium product advertised on their website.
The pendant was extremely thin and had rough, unfinished edges. The connector had a visible gap and appeared unsoldered. The engraving was so faint it was barely readable. The chain felt like something from a dollar store. Although the connector was stamped “925,” the connector and pendant appeared to be different metals, raising serious doubts about whether the pendant itself is sterling silver.
This item was nowhere near worth $146.20.
I contacted the company the same day the necklace was delivered, provided multiple photos, and requested a full refund. I refused their offer to remake the item because I had no confidence that a replacement would be any better.
The company refused to refund my money. Instead, they offered to make the pendant thicker only if I paid even more money, or they would issue store credit.
That response is outrageous. I should not have to pay additional money to correct a product that was misrepresented, nor should I be forced to accept store credit from a company I no longer trust.
After reading BBB complaints and online reviews, I found many customers describing the exact same experience: poor-quality products and refusal to issue refunds.
In my opinion, this company uses misleading advertising to sell overpriced jewelry and then hides behind a “customized item” policy to avoid accountability when customers receive substandard products.
I have disputed the charge with my bank.
Buyer beware. AliviaDanny.com is not a company I would recommend to anyone.
SCAM
I ordered a soccer charm engraved. It was $70. The 1st shipment was supposedly delivered to a junkyard. When I finally got the 2nd it was as thin as a piece of paper and tarnished and they have charged me $285 + tax! I called to correct and Alivia Danny also known as Heartsmith say that is the correct charge😡 TOTAL SCAM

They never honored the discount promised and the quality was worse than a vending machine bracelet ($164). Also there’s permanent finger prints on the heart charm. Customer Service is a joke!

Overpriced Piece of Cheaply Made Jewelry
What a horrible representation for a US product. Alivia & Danny ought to be ashamed of themselves.
$218 for an engraved locket with a stone and 20 inch chain. The “stone” is a clear window in the locket and then they put a piece of colored paper on the left side of the locket so from the outside, the stone appears to be that color. A piece of paper!!! They couldn’t even put a decent cosmetic jewelry stone on the piece. It’s also very hard to open and close. Nothing but a cheap piece of jewelry. Came in a cardboard box. And it’s not eligible to be returned.
This was to be to my daughter for her bridal shower to honor her late father.
Anyone trying to cheapen that experience should not be in business!

Quality of the jewelry is very poor. Item arrived tarnished and was supposed to be personalized but was not. When I reached out to return it, I was told that bc it was personalized, it was not returnable. I explained that it was supposed to be personalized but was not. They would not issue a refund but let me exchange the item for something different. Two months after receiving the new item, that too is tarnished and unwearable. Will never order from this company again.

This company (also is affiliated with Pics on Gold) is a SCAM. They sell garbage lockets and their laser engraving DOES NOT look like what is advertised. It is a joke. I had them replace the locket and the second one looked just as bad...and after a month it started tarnishing and the little diamond on the front popped off...and it wasnt worn that much.
Customer service was a NIGHTMARE. They couldn't track with me at all...I had probably like 30 plus emails back and forth. Sometimes they would respond as if I was a new person with an issue...and I would ask them to read the thread...It was a mess to deal with them
Their solution for everything was "we are sorry- let us send you a new one" (after you send the original back) but you can't fix what is already shoddy quality. Anyway I kept pressing them for a full refund and I returned both lockets-that took weeks and they said the refund was coming and it was only a partial since they have a melting or re-stock fee on engraved products. Now that can make sense IF they delivered on their promises and had a decent product. But when the locket picture is dull and not vibrant (as they advertised) and the locket is falling apart and tarnishing - thats not okay. I'm not paying to be duped.
so after a month and a half of back and forth -I contested it on my credit card and got my money back....THIS COMPANY IS TRASH STAY AWAY! Don't waste your time with them I can't believe they are still in business!!

Horrible product and customer service. I ordered a pendant and lost it the very first time I wore it. The pendant detached from its finding and was gone. I know this because the finding was still on the chain. I emailed Alivia + Danny and received no response the first time. emailed them again and was told to send them a picture of the pendant for the review of the damage. Of course they knew I could not do that as the pendant fell of my chain and was lost. Because I could not send a picture they could not replace the item or refund my money, but they did offer me a discount if I wanted to order a second pendant. Lol. This company is a scam. Do not waste your time or money here.
This was a very poor product
This was a very poor product. It was the wrong item did not match what was on the order sheet and in addition the quality is terrible. Very disappointed.and want a refund as well as instructions for return. It can't work for any as it is printed wrong.

Should have done my dudiligence seeing how horrible the company is reviews already posted, but I just had a horrible experience with this company. Purchased a personalized necklace for my wife for Christmas. When it arrived it had other peoples art on it, and when I informed them about the issue, they said they'd escalate the issue to management and a week went by before I heard anything back. So I had to follow up with them numerous times, to no avail so I asked for a full refund. They said they won't fully refund personalized items, and then proceed to send me a new necklace that came January 25. Keep in mind this was supposed to be a Christmas gift. So a month later, after I paid for expedited shipping to ensure it would be here before Christmas is unacceptable! They said they'd refund me 10% but only refunded me 2%. Absolute nightmare so I highly recommend going with a different company! Don't waste your time or money.

Bought a ring that was the wrong size. Contacted customer support for a refund. They informed me that are sales are final but they would be happy to sell me another ring. Unbelievable. Should have looked at the reviews before purchasing. Thats on me. Run from this business there are plenty of reputable shops out there. This is not one of them!

Don’t waste your money ordering from this company. I ordered a piece of jewelry it was tarnished. When I asked about returning it for a refund, I got the runaround, so please do NOT waste your money, they do NOT stand behind their products. I wasted my money, please do NOT waste yours.

Horrible company. Never received order and had to order a replacement from another company because of time constraints. When they finally followed up I told them I wanted a refund but that isn’t their policy and they can offer a replacement or a store credit. I told them I would like the store credit since I already got a locket because of the time restraint. They told me it was too late for a credit because they already ordered a replacement. The replacement came and despite them saying it is sterling silver it very clearly isn’t. The piece was already tarnished and very poor quality. I will never be ordering from this company again and would advise ever to do the same. I ordered a replacement locket from the Locket Sisters and the experience couldn’t be more opposite.
