It was a good experience. The arrangements for flights and transport between the airport, Makkah, and Madinah were smooth and well organised, which made the journey stress-free. Except the madinah hotel- Grand zowar hotel.
The hotel in Makkah was particularly impressive. It was clean, well maintained, and had professional and helpful staff. The rooms and facilities, including the toilets, were neat and comfortable, which made our stay there very pleasant. The transport service throughout the trip was also excellent and timely.
The only downside was the hotel in Madinah, which did not meet expectations. It was below average, and the staffs were not very professional, which affected our overall experience there.
Apart from the Madinah hotel, everything else was handled in a top-notch manner. I would recommend Al-khair Travels, and I hope they improve the standard of their Madinah accommodation links in the future.

We booked our Umrah with Nimra, and it was an amazing experience Alhamdulillah. Nimra was always there to help us throughout the trip and regularly checked on us to make sure we were having a blessed time. Thank you Nimra and Alkhair team.

Alhamdulillah, I would like to share my wonderful experience with Al Khair Travel UK for arranging our Umrah package. Performing Umrah is a very special and spiritual journey, and choosing the right travel company is extremely important. After speaking with several agents, we decided to go with Al Khair Travel, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made.

From the very beginning, their team was extremely professional, polite, and helpful. They took the time to understand our requirements and helped us select a package that suited our needs and budget. We were traveling with family, including elderly members, so we wanted everything to be comfortable and well organized. The staff patiently answered all our questions and guided us step by step through the entire process.

The booking process was very smooth. They clearly explained everything related to flights, visa processing, hotels, and transportation. Whenever we had any questions, they responded quickly through phone and WhatsApp, which gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind before the journey.

One thing I really appreciated about Al Khair Travel was their honesty and transparency. They did not pressure us to book immediately. Instead, they provided multiple options and allowed us to choose what worked best for us. Their knowledge about Umrah packages and travel arrangements was excellent.

Our visa process was handled professionally and without complications. All the documents were processed efficiently, and we received clear instructions for the journey. For first-time Umrah travelers like us, this support was extremely valuable.

The flights they arranged were convenient and comfortable. The hotel arrangements in Makkah and Madinah were also very good. The hotels were clean, well maintained, and located at a reasonable distance from the Haram, which made it easy for us to attend prayers and perform Umrah comfortably.

Transportation arrangements were also well organized. Airport transfers and intercity transport between Makkah and Madinah were smooth and punctual. The drivers were professional and respectful, and everything went according to schedule.

Another thing that stood out was the level of customer care. Even during our stay in Saudi Arabia, the Al Khair Travel team kept in touch with us to make sure everything was going well. Whenever we needed assistance, they responded quickly and helped resolve any small issues.

Traveling for Umrah can sometimes be stressful, especially when managing logistics for a family. However, Al Khair Travel made the entire journey much easier for us. Their experience and dedication ensured that we could focus on our prayers and spiritual experience instead of worrying about travel arrangements.

We just came back from our Umrah trip a few weeks ago and I have to say alhamdullilah it was amazing from start to end. From the minute I got in touch with Rizwan at Al Khair he managed everything perfectly.

He was happy to answer all of my questions, and he stayed in touch before, throughout, and even after returning to the U.K. to ensure the trip went smoothly.

The hotels, drivers, timings everything was great! The drivers all arrived on time and aware got in touch to inform us of their timings well in advance.

All in all it was a great experience and we will deffo be booking with Al Khair again if Allah invites us back In’sha’allah.

Went through a lot of agents before booking my recent umrah trip via Al Khair. I was assisted by Amna who helped taylor our package according to our needs. Amna was very helpful. Throughout my stay she checked in via WhatsApp message to ensure everything was ok. There was a slight mishap in hotel booking but the company took full ownership and resolved the matter very very quickly. Overall very happy.

I had a very disappointing experience with this travel agent. The communication was poor from the start, and it often took days to get a response to simple questions. Important details about the trip were unclear, and I felt like I had to constantly chase them for updates.
When issues came up with the booking, the support I received was not helpful at all. Instead of trying to solve the problem, they seemed uninterested and passed responsibility elsewhere. For something as important as travel planning, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and care.
Overall, the experience caused unnecessary stress and frustration. I would not recommend using this travel agent and would suggest looking for a company that values clear communication and reliable customer service.

If you’d like a smooth sailing stress free trip then DO NOT BOOK with AlKhair (respectfully). Unfortunately they ruined our first experience of Umrah, there was something wrong at every stage of our journey which was due to their inability . Some of the things that went wrong; forgetting about a family members ‘to’ flight but booking their ‘return’ flight??? Nearly a month of no communication then the day before we left it was sheer utter manic and chaos, asking us to send a 16 year old on a flight ALONE due to their delay in booking a flight with us so there were no seats left, asking for nearly A GRAND more when it was their fault a flight wasn’t booked so had to be booked last minute. This isn’t even the half of it. It was just so hard with a group of 9, so many tears were shed, so many near enough anxiety attacks, so so much cash loss, and the worst thing is we didn’t get recompensed for any of THEIR mistakes. Book at your own risk.

Our experience with Al Khair Travels was incredibly disappointing from start to finish.

We booked flights for two passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia for Umrah and onward to Dubai, expecting the process to be smooth and professionally handled. Instead, it became a constant battle to chase the agency for basic information. We had to repeatedly follow up for visas, transfer details, and even flight tickets. Nothing was communicated clearly or on time.

Aysha and Methab were unresponsive, slow, and failed to deliver on promises made. Each phone call required further chasing, and simple requests took far longer than they should have. A travel agency should reduce stress — not create it. Unfortunately, this booking was full of unnecessary anxiety and frustration.

The most unacceptable part of the experience was the hotel voucher. Despite requesting it multiple times before departure, it was never provided. Upon arrival in Makkah, we were left waiting and forced to contact the agent ourselves. There was no emergency out-of-hours contact available early in the morning. Only after 8:30am did someone call back with a reference number so we could check in. This is completely unacceptable for pilgrims arriving for Umrah, especially after long travel.

The organisation, communication, customer service and overall professionalism were severely lacking. A journey that was meant to be spiritually uplifting and blessed was overshadowed by poor management and avoidable stress.

Mr. Abdihannan Warsame, as the owner, serious improvements are needed in your team’s service standards and operational processes.

We will not be using this agency again and cannot recommend them to others. If you are looking for a reliable, stress-free Umrah booking experience, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.

I honestly wish I had never booked with this travel agency. I paid the full amount for my trip months in advance, trusting that everything would be organised properly and that I wouldn’t have to worry about anything. Unfortunately, that trust was completely misplaced.

From the start, their service and communication were extremely poor. Important details were not handled properly, and when issues came up, they failed to take responsibility or resolve them in a professional manner. Instead of getting the support I expected after paying in full, I was left dealing with problem after problem on my own.

What made the situation even worse was that because of their mistakes and lack of organisation, I had to spend even more money out of my own pocket just to fix issues that they should have sorted out in the first place. After paying them months in advance, the last thing I expected was to be forced to pay additional costs because they failed to do their job properly.

The whole experience turned what should have been an exciting and enjoyable trip into a stressful and frustrating ordeal. The amount of time, energy, and unnecessary stress this caused was unbelievable. A holiday is supposed to be relaxing, but dealing with this agency created nothing but headaches and disappointment.

I genuinely regret booking with this company. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to properly manage the booking caused so many avoidable problems. I would strongly advise anyone considering using this travel agency to think very carefully before doing so, because my experience was nothing short of exhausting and extremely disappointing.

Our Umrah trip was originally booked in June 2025 for February 2026. While the initial booking process had minor bumps, the major issues arose during the week of departure and throughout the trip itself.

This agency was recommended by a family member. However, after emailing Al Khair Travel regarding our formal complaints, we received no response. Therefore, to protect potential customers, we feel compelled to share our experience. Had we seen a review like this beforehand, we would not have booked with them.

Main Concerns – Staff Conduct & Competence
The primary issues involved three employees:
Umair– travel agent responsible for the booking
Ali– manager we were transferred to after a booking error
Ayesha– receptionist who repeatedly refused to transfer calls and claimed agents were unavailable

1. Poor Communication & False Promises
Around one month before departure, we requested a ticket amendment. Despite continuous follow-ups, no clear update was provided until the week of travel. The agency advertises 24/7 availability, but this was not our experience. Messages went unanswered, and expectations were repeatedly set without being fulfilled.

2. Passenger Ticket Not Booked (Despite Full Payment)
We booked 7 passengers, with one ticket booked separately six months in advance. Three days before departure, while double-checking documentation, we realised the 7th passenger was missing from the invoice.
Upon contacting Umair, we were assured the ticket would be sent shortly. The following morning, after continued unavailability, we discovered the ticket had never been booked — despite full payment and written confirmation six months prior.
There were no economy seats left on the original flight. Instead of accepting responsibility and upgrading the passenger, the agency requested an additional £900 for an alternative flight. We refused to pay extra for their mistake.
Eventually, the day before departure, they secured a same-day flight from a different airport at a different time. This caused additional stress and required last-minute changes to travel arrangements.
Although Umair made serious errors, he was not rude. However, once transferred to Ali (the manager), the situation worsened. His tone was condescending, mocking and highly unprofessional. Both agents were frequently unavailable during the most critical 72 hours before departure.

3. Failure to Provide Travel Documents on Time
The booking invoice clearly states that hotel vouchers, transfers and train tickets would be provided 3 days before travel. None were sent proactively, we had to repeatedly chase them.
The final outstanding item was the train tickets. We were verbally and in writing assured they would be sent before 12pm on the day of travel. They were not.
On the morning of departure (around 10am), we repeatedly called. Ayesha confirmed both agents were “unavailable” but also said they were messaging her saying they would be in later. Eventually, Ali answered and again spoke in a condescending manner.
The tickets were finally sent while we were at the airport as the flight was boarding.

During the Umrah Trip
All communication during the trip had to be handled by a family member in the UK due to continued issues.
Hotel Booking Error – Makkah
We had booked 5 nights in Makkah. Upon arrival, we were informed only 3 nights had been reserved.
The agency claimed that due to Ramadan, hotel confirmations “differ.” This issue had to be resolved twice during our stay. On the first day of Ramadan, we were required to change rooms urgently, which caused us to miss Maghrib prayer.
Due to these repeated failures, the agency eventually provided an upgrade for our Madinah stay.

The level of disorganisation, lack of accountability, poor communication and unprofessional conduct made what should have been a spiritual and peaceful journey extremely stressful.
If you still choose to book with this agency, we strongly advise avoiding Umair and Ali. However, we would like to note that Mehtab was helpful and responsive when assisting us during part of the trip.

I was abit nervous at first to book only because of all the scams ect going online ect but Rizwan alhamduillah gave me assurance , The flights travel everything was done really well , I didn't have to stress about anything as he sorted everything out for us . Rizwan was very helpful and gave me all the information I needed . I am happy with everything alhamduillah

Sales person in the name of Nimrah was excellent on her advice and description on all the quotes she provided. There was no force sale or harassment of constant messaging. I'll definitely use her again in my future travels.

Very good customer service, brother Abdul Hadi was very responsive on WhatsApp and was very help in trying to find a very good Ramadan Package for the last 10 nights.
