Very Poor Service with AllState
My name is Ioan Parvu, and I reside in Hamilton, Ontario. I currently have my home and two vehicles insured with Allstate Insurance.
On October 24, 2025, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in my vehicle being declared a total loss. The claims process took approximately four weeks to complete, during which time I was without transportation. The delay in processing and issuing payment caused significant inconvenience.
Throughout the claims process, I experienced repeated communication issues. I was required to speak with multiple representatives and was frequently transferred between departments without clear guidance or resolution. This resulted in unnecessary delays and demonstrated a lack of coordination and efficiency in handling my claim.
I am dissatisfied with the overall timeliness, communication, and quality of service I received. As a long-standing customer with multiple policies, I expected a significantly higher standard of professionalism and customer care.
Based on my experience, I would caution other consumers to carefully consider alternative insurance providers. I would not recommend Allstate Insurance to others due to the delays and service issues I encountered. Current policyholders may also wish to review their options at renewal.
I am submitting this complaint to formally document my concerns and to request a review of the handling of my claim. I hope appropriate steps are taken to improve service standards and prevent similar experiences for other customers.
