Recently Amazon Fresh have been habitually LATE. Their delivery drivers are contractors so no CONTROL or discipline. No more ordering from them choose Fairprice for reliability.

Totally sucks

Honestly it totally sucks. The courier tracking number cannot be used and invalid. Regret buying from Amazon sg. I rather even get books from kinokuniya which is more reliable. Will never buy again from Amazon

Amazon Cust Svc Empty Promises

Tried code 10OFF60SS1 for an order but unsuccessful. Chat with amazon cust svc assured me a refund of $10 after I ordered and received the item. Since early Oct till now late Nov, many emails saying will provide refund but just delaying the issue until email silence. Tried calling and same cycle repeats. No refund provided.

I No Longer Trust Amazon — This Experience Was Absolutely Infuriating

I am genuinely shocked at how poorly Amazon SG handled my order. I waited almost two months for a chair that Amazon repeatedly claimed was in stock. Throughout this time, I contacted customer service many times, only to receive the same scripted, robotic replies with zero real help. On several occasions, I was even advised to “just cancel the order” — as if the inconvenience and wasted time meant nothing.
It felt like Amazon was simply waiting for me to give up.
Not once did anyone take responsibility or proactively update me. If I hadn’t kept pushing for answers, I would still be waiting indefinitely, believing the item was on its way.
Finally, after demanding escalation, a representative assured me the order would be dispatched and created a ticket. I felt relieved for the first time — only to receive an email THAT SAME NIGHT saying my order was cancelled due to no stock. Two months of waiting, countless chats, and all along the item apparently never existed in the first place. The level of incompetence and misinformation is unbelievable.
To make matters worse, I had purchased a seat cover from Amazon two months ago specifically for this chair, trusting their “in stock” updates. Now I’m left with a completely useless product and money wasted — all because Amazon kept giving me false information.
This entire experience was frustrating, exhausting, and incredibly disappointing. Amazon used to be a reliable company I could trust. After this incident, I honestly don’t feel that way anymore. I will think very carefully before ever ordering from Amazon again.

False promises, lack of accountability

I purchased the Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones with delivery promised for 25 September, as I needed them urgently. The item only arrived on 29 September, after I had already left the country.

Following the late delivery, I contacted Amazon customer service. Multiple representatives confirmed in writing that I could keep the item and would receive a full refund. I waited patiently for over a month based on these assurances.

However, the refund was never processed. Recently, I was told that the refund could not be issued because it was “not in accordance with policy,” contradicting the repeated promises I had been given. This shows a serious lack of internal accountability and consistency in handling customer cases.

Bad experiences with delivery

I feel compelled to share my experience with Amazon.sg. For all deliveries, my instructions are clear as sky; expecting them to be delivered right to the doorstep. And for more than thrice, the delivery staff forced the envelopes into my mailbox; and on one occasion the item was so badly forced into it that the mailbox misaligned; and I have to get help from my management estate to put things right. In my latest order, the delivery staff failed to follow instructions and stuffed the item into a neighbor's mailbox out of convenience and gave me the impression that "you go figure out with your neighbor for this parcel". Amazon.sg is such a big disappointment given its big brand name. They still can't straighten out their vendors right; and take the necessary actions to ensure customers' best shopping experience. Don't just tell customer that they will take action and yet it is still an aching problem.

My account was unfairly cancelled by Amazon

I tried to place a simple Amazon order while abroad. That triggered a security flag. Reasonable, I get it. Fraud prevention is necessary.
But what followed? A frustrating loop of one-way communication. I was asked to verify my identity to a link provided. Then came the first resubmission request. Then another.
Each time, the entire exchange was via email. But I couldn’t reply. No real conversation. No way to clarify. Just a faceless channel.
After 10 days, I received a final decision, a cold, clinical account termination notice, saying that they cannot verify me, a customer for over 15 years (!!!).
And to make matters worse? The only support option was calling the U.S. from Asia with a 15-hour time difference.
Amazon, if you're truly global, why is my only option to call the U.S. at 3 a.m.? Why can't resolve this in Singapore?

Awful service and nothing like Amazon US or UK

As someone who has used Amazon in other countries for 22 years, unfortunately Amazon SG does not resemble anything close to the experience I had with Amazon before moving to SG 6 years ago.

Amazon SG was already greatly inferior to US or UK 6 years ago in every way (delivery, return procedure, customer service, selection, pricing, benefits of prime membership etc) and since then customer service (which was always the strongest point for Amazon since they incorporated) but was at least still a decent option back then, however it has just got worse and worse.

Nowadays I actually find I get much better and more reliable service from Shopee which is just amazing to me as, using Amazon US and Amazon UK before moving to Singapore those were, at least at that time, vastly superior to Shopee.

For nearly 20 years Amazon US and UK were my go to for buying anything and I spent at least 5 figures a year.

Now I avoid Amazon SG wherever possible and only order if they are the only option for something I need and spend maybe 3 figures a year.

Amazing how badly managed Amazon SG is and the now atrocious customer service.

marked delivery attempt when there's no attempt at all

Avoid buying anything from Amazon. They falsely claim a delivery attempt when none was made. Then, they blame the issue on an "incorrect address pinpoint" in their system. After that, they offer you a $10 promo code and a refund for your original purchase, only to ask you to reorder—at which point the item’s price has already increased by 20–30%. Feels like a scam.

Avoid at all cost regarding the price…

Avoid at all cost regarding the price is cheapest.

Customer service cannot even help to check is the driver nearby or not while the parcel must be sign upon collect.

Funny thing is they marked delivery attempt when there's no attempt at all. Wasted for 2 days just waiting for a delivery that never comes down.

Don't use Amazon SG, regardless of price, find another retailer

I just saw someone also didn't get their book.

I regret using Amazon SG and not reading their reviews.
3 consecutive times, I ordered the same book trying to get it, they refunded the first 2 times and assured that they tweaked the delivery instructions and address algo to get it right.

NOPE, instructions to call or text me ignored. marked as delivered with no photos taken.

Their delivery partners are either incompetent, goes to the wrong address THRICE. or has no integrity, marked as delivered and toss/kept the parcel.

Amazon Singapore delivery service is a…

Amazon Singapore delivery service is a big liar. Ordered a book on 16 Oct and was told delivery would be on 18 Oct but when the day came, I did not receive the package but delivery status state that package was handed over to resident.. how is that possible. Called customer service, I was told to wait until 21 Oct, if the book still hasn’t arrive, they will classify it as lost and will initiate a refund. Called them again on 21 Oct to inform them that I still haven’t receive the book, so they submitted a refund and told me to re-order which I did. This time delivery was arranged for 22 Oct… I waited and waited and again the same thing happened.. delivery status said package was delivered at 4.24pm on 22 Oct but I did not receive it… called customer service and they told me to wait for another day which I refused… then they told me to re-order again .. to which of course I refused because I do not want to be taken for a fool. Amazon Singapore quality service really suck big time!!

Shockingly bad

Shockingly bad. Does not resemble US or UK Amazon in any way. Selection is poor. Products are over-priced. Extremely hard to reach customer care. When you do, you get passed around from one agent to another, never making progress on the issue and dealing with people that give persistently wrong information. Listings can be inaccurate but Amazon SG has no way to fix them. But they aren't short of false empathy and empty words. Save yourself the nightmare of having to deal with their customer care and simply do your online shopping elsewhere - there are a few big platforms in Asia that are infinitely better.

I have the worst experience with Amazon Singapore

1. All the glass items delivered was broken as it was not bubble wrapped. And no response from customer care

2. I cancelled just one item it’s sending me email to pay for whole order for a huge amount. They say it’s a system issue ignore emails asking you to pay!!! Amazon!!!! Shoppe works far better in delivery payments and customer care

3. Complained to customer care on product review but it’s not well received or updated

4 waiting for refund of cancelled item and broken items

5. They didn’t send email when payment is completed

6. Finally was able to talk to customer care via chat and email lot of promises made and waiting for it to be fulfilled.

CANCELLED ORDERS

I have been experiencing issues with my orders from Amazon.sg Fresh being cancelled due to failed delivery, even when the delivery tracking indicated that the order was on its way. What's worse is that they only informed me of the cancellation at the last minute. If they are unable to fulfill the order, they should not have accepted it in the first place, especially when the items are urgently needed. I could have simply gone to the supermarket instead of relying on their delivery service. Their service has been unreliable and untrustworthy lately. It's a horrible experience

I think I just got SCAM

I think I just got SCAM. Receive a product which is totally different from the description. I ordered XReal AR Glasses for $345 and instead received a cheap normal china made sunglasses! This is false advertising at its worse and I have no way to call or reach out to amazon beside going thru the refund process. This will be the last time I'm using amazon.

Amazon fresh cancel order two days in a tow

Ordered from Amazon fresh paid for delivery day 1 get a message at end of delivery slot - your order has been cancelled! Reordered for delivery next day exactly the same thing happened. No explanation, no apology- just cancelled. Customer service worse than useless no help at all.

Worst delivery ever

Worst delivery ever, they partnered with worst delivery service in SG “NINJA VAN”. The delivery guy dropped the package in front of my unit door and said it is delivered, it is public area where anyone can pick up my package, the delivery guy ignored my msg to ask him to come back again tomorrow, I am a prime member with such a bad delivery service guaranteed that I will never purchase anything from them again. Don’t buy from Amazon SG, you are warned.

Amazon.sg a FAR CRY from Amazon in UK and USA

If you have ever used Amazon in another country, you will know how bad Amazon.sg is. I was working in UK a couple of years and I love shopping through Amazon. Delivery was easily trackable, was fast and the courier service was all handled by professional Amazon personnel.

In Singapore, I realized that Amazon was trying to establish grounds here around 2020. I was excited but when I went to the website - this does not deliver to your country, this is unavailable blah blah. Nothing is available which is ridiculously lame. I was offered a prime 1 year membership as some offer from Singtel recontract, but there's literally nothing to buy. I canceled it in advance.

Fast forward 3 years later, I was hoping Amazon.sg will get better. There're definitely more stuffs and there's Amazon fresh. I was excited about it, until I accidentally forgot my unit number and realize how crappy it was. The courier service was definitely not handled by Amazon's personal team, I immediately added my unit info as soon as I got Amazon's email that it was undeliverable and may be reattempted again.

I waited till the delivery slot was over, no reattempt. But it's okay since it was my negligence. Then, the website said it will be refunded, however the email said reattempt may be made. So I decide to message the customer service for help.

1st guy said: There will be a reattempt to deliver tomorrow (no information on timeslot)
2nd guy said: The delivery will be made before 20th July. I asked a few more questions as I was still confused.. he stop replying and left me hanging there.
3rd guy said (probably the most accurate one): The order was canceled and the refund has been processed. Please go ahead to reorder if I still need the items.

Customer service centre is definitely not properly trained. If courier services are not handled by Amazon themselves, there's no way they can keep up with the Amazon name like how it's done in UK and USA. It has really been quite a disappointed experience.
