Been really please with Apollogrid. They installed solar panels, inverter and battery. Throughout the customer service was brilliant and they kept us informed. Apollogrid are part of the company that manufacture the batteries so you get good aftercare service too. Apollogrid have filed all the paperwork with agencies like building regs and UK Power Network so it’s been straightforward for us to move energy companies and sign up for Solar Saving Scheme to sell our solar power back to the grid. Highly recommend!

Apollogrid and solar energy. I am 79, both my wife and I were impressed that Apollogrid, a Chinese company, holds a large stock of all the components that are required for any domestic solar panel system. That they bought a reputable local installation firm, to build their systems in the area. They sent an engineer with a drone to assess and design a system to provide the most benefit from our property layout. They were honest, friendly and professional. After final payment they came to see how the system was working and to offer any further help that we might need.
This was our best experience out of all service providers.

From the start to the end of the installation it was all managed by Apollogrid in a very professional manor, everything happened when they said it would with minimal levels of disruption. I would say that the installation was a lot faster on the DNO approval than they had originally quoted apparently due to the system size being under 6kw. so 4-6 weeks turned into 1 week. Scaffolding guys were brilliant, Electricians were fantastic & roofers who fitted the solar panels were very efficient, even rubbish collecting was all coordinated by Apollogrid. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends or colleagues as a reputable company to deal with. 10/10 *****

Apollogrid installed solar panels and a battery at our house. They explained how it would save us money on production of electricity via solar panels and by using the battery to make use of off peak electricity. The team has been very professional throughout the installation. They installed and finished the installation really quickly and cleared the rubbish away afterwards. and assisted me in obtaining MCS registration. The system comes with a mobile phone app which can show me the flow of electricity between the components; solar panels, battery, grid and the house and the price was very competitive. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of installing solar panels.

We couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Apollogrid. We had a battery and inverter installed on 6 January and we are already saving money. Communication has been excellent and the installers were professional, efficient and tidy. I would not hesitate to. Recommend them.

Initially really good but after 3 months the batteries no longer charge or discharge. Probably due to the cold?
Update 09/01/26: New firmware installed and batteries are working again. Hopefully, this fix will work.
Update 06/02/26: The new firmware seems to have fixed the problem, but the weather has been milder.
Sadly, the new firmware has blocked external updates. Automations from Homeassistant no longer work.
17/02/26 Now back on the old firmware and homeassistant is now working again.
Now waiting for new firmware which will allow homeassistant and fix the cold battery issue.

At the beginning i was very sceptical because it started with a cold knock on the door. After few weeks of back and forth while i was researching the market i decided to go with Apollogrid/Rahvolt equipment.
I was impressed, in a very positive way, from the guys who installed the system, Stephen and the team - very good Job.
Same from the sames guy - Leo, who was very committed and empathetic from the beginning to the very last.
I know i am not an easy customer to deal with, but that is because I require what is fair and what has been agreed :)
The system at the beginning had few flaws but the support team was helpful and keep checking on it time to time.

I have tested the products for more than 2 months now

The 4 stars are because of the flaw but all in all i am satisfied and I would highly recommend them.

I installed the panels ten years ago, but because I need to buy an Ev car, I am considering having a storage battery. At the same time, two girls knocked on my door and very politely introduced that their battery was the same as Tesla's battery, which made me very interested. Although I did not agree to continue the cooperation in the end because I had to move and sell my house, I will always remember their efficiency in giving me a quick solution and the smile and courtesy when knocking on the door. I hope your company will become better and better:D

Dodgy door knock, be careful

We had a knock at the door from some people saying they were from Apollogrid/Rahvolt. No ID, nothing to prove who they were, and their English wasn’t great so it was hard to even get answers. I asked if they had a licence to be going door-to-door and they just looked blank. Saw another one of them further down the road too, so there were a few of them about.

They started asking personal questions but didn’t explain why or what they were doing with the info. The worst bit was they first started talking to our eldest when she answered the door before we came through.

Honestly, felt really unprofessional and a bit unsafe. Wouldn’t trust them and I’d tell people to be careful if they come knocking.

Amazing customer services coupled with an exceptional installation team. We are very impressed and very happy to see our electricity bill reduced by 90% even in the winter sun.

Their price is very reasonable and they even installed solar optimisers on my shaded roof without me asking for it (i didn't know it existed). Steve wants to ensure we get the best out of our solar system.

And they collect the rubbish promptly and very curious bunch of people.

These are really a bunch of really efficient and passionate guys.

The are well-organised throughout the entire installation process and after a month of using their system, I can conclude with confidence that their estimation on the system output is quite accurate.

I'm very happy to recommend Apollogrid. We had several providers quote for the system, and ultimately we chose Apollogrid as they had installed at a neighbour's house who were happy to recommend them. The price was competitive also.

The quote and ordering process was straightforward and they handled the licence applications with the grid. The installation was on time, and everyone who worked at our property was polite, and skilled.

The equipment is excellent quality, with good data through the app, and we're saving money even in the darkness of mid-October.

Apollogrid installed solar panels at our house. Right from the very begining they explained to us how the system worked and would save us money on production of electricity via solar panels. The team has been very professional through out the installation. They installed and finished the installation as per the time scale. My wife I are very pleased with this company.

Apollogrid were great! They came out and did a free on-site survey. After going through a few options, I decided to go for the battery-only setup. I've had a loft conversion, so there wasn't enough roof space for solar panels to make it worth the cost.
The team were really professional. Vanessa, my sales representative, kept me updated at every stage and answered any questions I had quickly. The installation took about a day and a half-they cleaned up after themselves and even arranged a pickup for all the rubbish.
Everything was done to a really high standard. I honestly smile every time I check the app and see how much I'm saving!

I don’t normally buy when sales people come to my door, but I took a chance. Apollogrid’s sales team and proposal were excellent. I didn’t rush into it, and the sales team were not too pushy. I didn’t feel pressured at all. Once the decision was taken, the installation was efficient and the team courteous and professional. I now have a solar PV and battery installed and it all seems to be working well. The app and equipment seem to be high quality. I would recommend this firm.

Very happy I chose Apollogrid for my solar system. Had 14 in-roof panels installed along with battery storage and the energy generated means by bills are now much much lower.

The installation went as planned, very neat and tidy and importantly on-time - when they said something was going to happen, it did.

A big positive of the installation was Dave the Technical Manager - very knowledgable, professional and happy to answer any questions I had. Am happy he was assigned to my project.
