Good product, great service
Bay was the tech that treated our home and property. She did an excelent job and documented everything with photos before and after. I wish more people did this complete of a job. Aptive has kept my home pretty much critter free for several years now and with techs as thorough as Bay, I will continue to be a loyal customer.

DID NOT RECEIVE WHAT I WAS BILLED FOR
I have found these treatments to be costly and ineffective. I have continued to have problems with mosquitos, fleas, ticks, slugs and aphids throughout the 18 months of treatments I have received. I was repeatedly denied cancellation even though I still had pest infestations.
It was raining slightly at my last scheduled appointment. The tech informed me that chemicals could not be applied (only the granules) because of the rain and that if I also wanted the chemical treatment (for which I was charged and paid for) I would need to call customer service and request an additional visit.
Calls to customer service (as with most companies) are time consuming. I'm baffled that the treatment was not automatically rescheduled if the full service was not able to be rendered, or a credit issued to my account. In my opinion, a reputable company would not expect a customer to take time to place a phone call to request a service for which they were billed, and would allow cancellation regardless of contract if their treatments were ineffective and they were not able to deliver what was promised of their services.

What you described is understandably disappointing. When weather limits part of a service, you shouldn’t feel like you have to follow up just to receive the portion you already paid for. And dealing with ongoing pest issues on top of that would leave anyone feeling let down.

Our goal is to help you feel confident in the service you’re receiving and to make things right where we fell short.
